So in other words, it virtually comes down to a decision between Fix You and Proof now. If you want to save Fix You, you have to vote for Proof ! All the other songs have far too little votes to get close to elimination.

I'll go for The Hardest Part then too (although I actually like that song as well, but that's the general problem when you have to eliminate songs in an album full of great songs !) So with mine the Hardest Part has now 4 votes ! All we need it one more vote for Proof now and Fix You is saved ! :)

Yeah. Proof is an example of where awful lyrics still can make a good song because of the emotion, sound and melodies behind it. Also, I believe that simple lyrics in itself are not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes the simplest lyrics can express the strongest feelings, and better than more convoluted ones. I love the vagueness in Coldplay lyrics, making it possible for everyone to relate to them in an individual way.

Parachutes 5 VLVODAAHF 2 X&Y 2 AROBTTH 1 The contestants for Round 7 are: A Rush Of Blood To The Head X&Y Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends I'm sad about Parachutes but I am glad that X&Y is at least still there. The X&Y Era was their artistic peak, imho, the album is my favourite along with AROBTTH: Maybe AROBTTH has the better flow as an album, but X&Y has the better individual songs. Each song a gem ! So I still vote VLVODAAHF to be eliminated.

OMG, how can anyone vote for Fix You at this point ? It's a beautiful song !!! Currently, Fix You and Proof would be out with 3 points each, which hurts a lot !
