Well, I did some research and the longest gap between albums was between VLVODAAHF and MX and it was exactly 3 years, 5 months and 12 days. This means that if LP8 isn't out until the 17th of May 2019 (the most likely scenario), then this will be the longest gap in their carrier. This is understandable because both VLV and AHFOD had their EPs and both had massive tours (AHFOD tour was the longest they've ever had).

I think Waiting is short for Waiting In Line which was the name of a previous version of the track Parachutes and also a working title for Coldplay's first LP.

I've been in your situation a lot of times and I admit that a few years ago I had troubles with friendship and relationship with my classmates. Although, I think I overcame the obstacles with the passing of time and I understood what was missing. The thing I did was making sure I had some close friends that I can talk to them freely about anything that bothers me. Try hanging out more with people that make you feel good and accept you and like you about who you are. Then, the other thing that I did was that I've had the courage to blend in with others in my school by simply asking to be with them. First I sat with them and I listened what they said, finding out which are their interests, and when I found something we have in common, I know we will go further. Don't take it seriously! No one is going to get annoyed from your presence and you will know if someone is really your friend, if they care about you and what you say. If you have doubts about your relationship with someone just move on to the next one, who is there for you. I still have troubles with my friends or some people but I try to get along and stay in touch, cause believe it or not, the human existance needs the team work if it's in school, social life, workplace, erotic relationship it is necessary. If you don't have enough experience in human interaction then you lose a big part of what it meens to be a human. Be brave out there and don't overthink it! You can make it and you won't regret it!

I know that ads are very important for any site and I just stated that Coldplaying's ads tend to be the weirdest ones I see online. Nevermind, I don't even care about them and I ignore them most of the time.

Yeah pretty good song for them and kind of different from their past work. Their first album was a bit bland and it didn't get the praise they were hoping for.

I don't know if someone controls ads in the site, but even ads in here are getting weird. Dating sites and weird useless products are all over the place.

Hey there! This summer I rarely listen to Coldplay. I'm kind of bored and I need new material to work on to get into the band again. Evey now and then though Coldplay is played on radio on tv, their remixes are played in clubs. The thing that reminded me the band a few days ago was watching the moon and its eclipse in a telescope lens!

Nice to be in the forums again! This hiatus is getting be crazy. 2 nights ago I dreamt of a new Coldplay song, which was explained by the band as a further continuation of AHFOD pfff! Then I got in Coldplaying, in this dream, and read that they've written only one song in this whole period, because Chris became an actor and was very busy working on a Pinocchio movie, where he was Jiminy cricket....LOL!!!

I totally agree with you! The thing that worries me though is Stargate. I have a feeling looking at their bond with the band that they will remain or they will guide the band to pop producers degenerating them even more. AHFOD was pop but still it wasn't the typical pop meant for today's charts. Maybe they could surprise us with an even poppier sound. If I were them and I had songs like Hypnotised, A L I E N S and AICTAIY and I wanted to write an alternative album, I would keep them for later use. I think KEP was just an Oldplay break before a surprisingly mainstream LP or singles. Only time will tell let's hope they will be more creative this time!

It was a misconception that AHFOD is their last album. Chris wanted to state that AHFOD would close a chapter in the band's carrier but it wouldn't end it. It is normal that they are having a break between albums, or they secretly work on something new. The only thing that we know about them for the future is that they will surprise us with something!

My 6 year old dog, Alby! I always wanted to have a dog when I was a child and there was no way that we could agree in our family that we would get one. The decision was made really quickly when we found her when she was 3 months old with her brothers and sisters near the courts I was playing tennis back then. Every puppy found a home that day, because everyone being around there came to the rescue as we did. But she was the "beautifulest" (see what I did there?) of all of the puppies. She got into some troubles in all of these years (dog fights, I almost lost her one day and she had a bad ending pregnancy), but I think she is happy from her journey until now. Her lust for life can be seen when she plays and runs for her favourite balls. These pictures are from last summer. In the second one she plays with my cousins' Labrador.
