  1. I'm just intrigued to tell you all my ideas now lol:laugh3: But thank you so much for using my ideas! Maybe you should go ask @I Ran Away for that persons ideas as well;) EDIT: But obviously I'm not giving more ideas now lol, I think that the song I Ran Away is positive IMO but hey I can see a dark edge as well. You could also picture a guy with a passion who tries and fails maybe? These are two different views;)
  2. No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground vs 15 Step (Radiohead)
  3. Thanks![emoji3] Maybe you could also do 'I Ran Away' as if someone ran away from home to explore? Or maybe the band smashing their guitar for '1.36' as it feels dead rocky. I dunno these are just suggestions:P
  4. Square One plz @Batman. It has a spacey feel and feels like you're about to go anywhere you want to go in the world. It works best early morning:) BTW epic AOAL drawing. That sums it all up for me:D
  5. Oh my god, I've found a playlist that might work. Try listening to this with crossfades (or without) and this could work as an electronica and rock- based- night album. Section 1: Nightlights 1. Everything In Its Right Place- Radiohead 2. Where Is My Boy?- Faultline 3. Collider- Jon Hopkins (crossfade into Midnight) 4. Midnight- Coldplay 5. Apple Orchard- Beach House (crossfade into Bliss) 6. Bliss- Muse (crossfade into Bloom) 7. Bloom- Radiohead (opening line sounds like Bliss piano reversed, quite cool;)) 8. Codex- Radiohead Section 2: Exploration 9. Life- Solar Fields 10. Ink- Coldplay 11. Breathe This Air- Jon Hopkins 12. Spies- Coldplay 13. Colour Eye- Jon Hopkins 14. 505- Arctic Monkeys (crossfade into Private Universe) 15. Private Universe- Jon Hopkins (crossfade into Passage) 16. Passage- Destiny Soundtrack (yes a video game soundtrack song, it works quite well) 17. Treefingers- Radiohead (fade into Oceans) 18. Oceans- Coldplay 19. A Sky Full Of Stars- Coldplay or Don't Let It Break Your Heart- Coldplay Depending on which one you choose... ASFOS Route: 21. Up With The Birds- Coldplay 22. Small Memory- Jon Hopkins DLIBYH Route: 22. Up With The Birds- Coldplay 23. Motion Picture Soundtrack/Untitled- Radiohead If someone can crossfade some of these as a made playlist and give me an opinion that would be great thanks:P In other words can someone test this out:) Hope you like it:)
  6. Double post, nothing new there :laugh3: I think of 'Embarkments' like an adventure. If someone crossfaded some of these tracks they could work well and nicely. Great to see some love for Mince Spies;) AROBTTH 12 points X&Y 10 points Mince Spies 8 points
  7. Welcome to the third edition of the song contest! We have changed songs to albums! The rules are the same, you can only vote again after 3 people have voted. You can vote for different songs or the same every time you vote, like last time. The NEW rule is also on this contest. You can now use the hashtag of the album you want to win to make this more intense, but the real rule is that you can now REMOVE albums from the list by avoiding voting for them!:P After an album is left in the open and not voted for after a couple of days/hours it will be eliminated. Make sure to vote for your favourites! The New Contenders: Safety Brothers & Sisters The Blue Room Parachutes Mince Spies AROBTTH Live 2003 X&Y (including What If, @I Ran Away;)) VLVODAAF Prospekt's March Mylo Xyloto Ghost Stories A Sky Full Of Stars (EP) Embarkments 'custom made tracklisting' below (You can tell everyone why you want to vote for the album to win:D) There is one last rule change, the following will be counted as an album (the seperate singles and songs because AHFOD isn't out yet) I've tracklisted this album in the best order I could think of. I've called it 'Embarkments' Ode To Deodorant Adventure Of A Lifetime Moses Careful Where You Stand For You Miracles Where Is My Boy? Wish I Was Here Amazing Day Help Is Round The Corner How You See The World No 2. Moving To Mars Atlas Remember give your 8,10,12 points: Good luck!:P
  8. And the winner is... 1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head (MORE THAN 250 PTS!:P) 2. I Ran Away (MORE THAN 200 PTS :P) 3. Low (MORE THAN 200 PTS :P) Thanks to everyone for participating in this thread, the third edition will be out later:)
  9. I'm going to try to count everything now:D The next thread will be completely different, but just as fun:P
  10. Shit double post:laugh3: Someone please remove my other post:)
  11. YOU ELIMINATED PARANOID ANDROID:angry: LEMMME GIVE YOU ALL MY REVENGE Clocks- Coldplay 85 Citizen Erased- Muse 54 (I'm listening to this right now!:D) Money- Pink Floyd 31 Hitchin A Ride- Green Day 1
  12. AOAL is now No.7 1. Hello- Adele (still hanging on there, Adele;)) 2. Sorry- Justin Bieber (GO AWAY NOW PLEASE) 3. In2- WSTRN (WTF why is this still here?!) 4. Half The World Away- AURORA (decent cover, but I understand it's here cause of the new John Lewis ad, not as good as Oasis tho) 5. Sax- Fleur East (THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO JUMP OFF A CLIFF, it's that bad, another X Factor product:angry:) 6. Writings On The Wall- Sam Smith (average song, but fit well with Bond) 7. Adventure Of A Lifetime- Coldplay (Better than all of these combined, the ultimate alternative disco track, PROPER music:D) AOAL is still losing here in the UK though:(
  13. Cheers for making this thread @I Ran Away:) Mooie Ellebogen The Dubliners
  14. We may have hope here though!:P
  15. 'We wanted to let go the concept of being a rock band' So in the future Coldplay will be...pop. No more legendary anthems or singles. No more rockier tunes and riffs. And worst of all an incredible band like Coldplay, if AHFOD doesn't work out...it's over:(And AOAL may be very good and different IMO, but ino this may totally go the wrong way if we don't like HFTW. Screw you pop charts:angry: (I'm gonna go listen to Twisted Logic now:x&y: You'll go backwards again, you'll go forwards again)
  16. Couldn't agree with you more, cp:P
  17. UK Singles: 1. Hello- Adele (obviously, let's give her a nudge) 2. Sorry- Justin Bieber (Pesky Bieber, I'm 'sorry' this is even on the charts:laugh3:) 3. In2-WSTRN (WTF is this song and why is it here) 4. Adventure Of A Lifetime- Coldplay (please move upwards:cry:)
