I use audacity a lot to for personal projects. Thankfully got the thing figured out and am really starting to learn stuff about things now

Same :D there's actually quite a few artists in which I do like the majority of their discography but it's only like their top 5-15 or so songs, depending on the artist, that have the special thing that Coldplay has. And even then there's just something that makes Coldplay Coldplay. :D

I agree, we need another listening party. Its been awhile. It was fun, I remember both the times I had some it was super awesome sharing the experience with all of you, it makes it extra special knowing that across the world are other people listening to the exact same thing as you and we can all talk about it as if we were next to each other (not as fast but still you know what I mean) :D

Actually in the last part of the song that goes like this he does say "Stay round" but every other time he says "Stay down". So you are somewhat right there. It's not that I don't know the lyrics to have to look it up, I just don't want to go thinking it's another part of the song that it actually is so I post something else then I should have, in Swallowed in the Sea that's especially important. So I look it up to make sure I don't mess up :D There's plenty of surprises along the way sometimes in the lyrics when I thought it said something else than it actually is. I don't blame you for saying "Sometimes you're free", it almost sounds like it! Kind of hard to tell in something really dreamy sounding like Brothers & Sisters... every time I listen to it I'm extra surprised by the really atmospheric and dreamy quality it has, it fades over some time and then when you listen to it again it sounds more then ever before! And it's me they're looking for

Most of these "new songs" on the channel are by big name artists that you would by no means consider good. (The really big poppy artists essentially, more leaning towards the EDM style which I actually really like but I know you would not like at all). Makes me feel bad anyway seeing Coldplay thrown in the same group as those artists... I'm a bit disappointed right now. I had an original song that I could have made stuck in my head once and now of course that I can play around and figure it out on piano I can't remember it. Despise it when this happens. The best songs pop into my head when I can't play around on anything or write it down or anthing!! :( EDIT: Just as I step away from this post I remembered it... and of course then it led into some other song, now whenever I try to remember the melody from the original song I think of that other one. It was disguised I think! Argh.

Shining bright like a diamond ("Diamonds" by Rihanna) Funny thing is I wanted to do that word last time and of course immeidately thought about this song butr I never thought it had "shining" just "shine". Guess I was wrong while trying to look up any songs with the word "shining" in it :D

That's what I was hinting at, they've been at it for a while and so they're much better at it then I am. :D Not Coldplay related specifically but music in general, I was looking at my music library in my computer and I wondered why only some of the songs are there as if some got deleted by accident. I soon scrolled down to find a ton of songs missing from Radiohead's Hail To The Thief and scrolling up and down I find a ton of songs missing! Went into panic mode for a few seconds until I realized I entered something in the search box and never took it out so the music visible got narrowed down. Before this I thought that since I recently got an update for the software I have for this some glitch happened and it got rid of a lot accidentally, thankfully that wasn't the case! I was starting to think it was all just a dream, so then I could go on and do whatever since then I would be realizing I was in a dream. That wasn't the case though, am still here. Got me really freaked out for a second :D

I really agree with your view on the song a lot! It's a masterpiece. As for the moving theme, I noticed that! Moving seemed to be a big part in your music video which I really like. It really fit with the song. I find it so puzzling how Coldplay can make the most beautiful songs out of stuff like that. They really have a knack for it. I try to make music and some of it is really good (more like a few) but the others just don't have that special "ring" to it... Only Coldplay and a few other bands have that extra special "ring" to their song for some reason that makes it their own really good!! I'm weird like that, I associate certain times of day and scenes with different songs in my life. Don't know what it is, I do have photographic memory and am very "visual" so that I think plays a large part in why I associate songs with these things ! :) EDIT: I'll let you pick the next song :D

Nice selections! I like it. A couple of the tracks I especially like, those ones I'm talking about sounds distantly like guitar but more something completely new and awesome. You recorded these with a cellphone?!! The recording quality is still fair amount better than some attempts I've done at recording at least on my old phone (have a new one now so it's probably not all that bad :P) Keep practicing and you will be really really good one day!! As in Up&Up: "Don't ever give up!" :D Cool! I recognized quite a few but also didn't recognize quite a few. At first I didn't exactly recognize the second part of what I now recognize to be the other part of Square One for some reason... even the ones I didn't recognize I still like the sound to it. That's Coldplay, even when you don't recognize it it still sounds good :D That would be so awesome to hear here, unfortunately I bet our radio would never play nor say that... I have no idea, the melodies Coldplay make, they feel so fresh and new and super awesome and enjoyable. How do they do it so easily?!!? I just don't get it. Some of my attempts at creating music (believe me I have a lot) they sound nice but doesn't have that special ring to it that Coldplay has... (well a select few I suppose do, but most of my attempts don't quite live up as good. I guess it helps that Coldplay have been at this for a while now and I'm not even in this for a year so I should just give it time :D)
