Very true. After reading all of these comments it makes me wonder if Chris and CP ever really thought about what their fans like in the first place? Maybe they don't care. Maybe it isn't a bad thing. Maybe they see themselves as artists (when I say artists think of Matisse) who create what they want when they want and how they please and if you don't like it too bad. I say this because they seem to be totally unconcerned about what their old fans think of this album. Maybe if we see them as true artists us old cp fans won't be so disappointed in their new album.

No way is MX their worst album. It has Princess of China but other than that it's a pretty good album: Waterfall, UFO, Charlie Brown, US Against the World.

I love this song too! I listen to it everyday. The melody is a bit upbeat but if Chris ever did an acoustic version of this it would be even more beautiful and romantic

Preach! But I noticed Chris likes tall, blondes. First Gwen, then Jennifer and now his new girlfriend Annabelle (who is super pretty!). Anywho, all of their personalities seem very different so maybe Chris is just a tad bit shallow? Which seems sort of odd considering (at least to me) he writes such profound lyrics.

I think Chris is definitely planning on going solo, but I don't think the band will break up for good. I think AHFOD is kind of Chris experimenting w/ different sounds. I think he'll go the r&b route just like Justin Timberlake did when NSYNC broke up.

I've been in love before and still am with someone but I've never likened it to being drunk or high. That seems like a cheap metaphor, to be honest. But maybe I feel this way because I've never been/or want to be drunk or high. :) (Not saying you have or do, though). To me loving someone feels a lot more complicated than that. But as you say it's all subjective.

I'm sorry but HFTW is just a bunch of words slapped together. It's being over analyzed way too much. The only profound lyric in it is "When I was hurt, withered, dried up You came to rain a flood." And even that lyric is reminiscent of Us Against the World. Which, by the way, is an absolutely beautiful song.

I wish Tove Lo's song was a duet. It would be even more beautiful.
