The downsides of living in your country
You clearly don't. People ask me whether I speak Swedish all the time. Probably more often then they actually ask me if I can speak German. They sometimes even ask me if we speak English. Some people are so thick.

The downsides of living in your country
Most people will have heard of it but they usually haven't got a clue where it is or what language you speak.

Do you have a crush on anybody on the board?
No, I don't.

There is no such thing like...
I can't either but I usually say that I have to go to the bathroom or something so people won't see me cry.

I hate college
I agree. I did my A Levels in Switzerland and we had to take every single subject up to A Level standard. The good thing about it is that it keeps your options open. I could (theoretically) study and subject at any Swiss university of my choice. The problem is that it stops a lot of people from getting A Levels. It's also a massive disadvantage if you would like to study in a different country.

Where to buy Dvds in London?
Try Zavvi if it's still open. The company went into administration at the beginning of the year so they give you 10% discount on everything. Shops are open on Saturday and Sunday, they close at 4 on Sunday though.

The downsides of living in your country
There is a point in studying a subject that you are interested in even if it doesn't lead to a specific job. Not all employers ask for a specific degree and a lot of skills are transferable. Anyway my point was that it is harder to find jobs now than it was two years ago.

The downsides of living in your country
As I said I don't mind rain. It's the windy weather that I don't like... wind in combination with rain. But you're probably more used to it. The credit crunch hasn't affected me that much either. It took me a while to find a summer job but it wasn't the end of the world. It is a massive problem though. I know a lot of people who graduated from uni and can't find jobs.

The downsides of living in your country
Anyway the main downside about living in the UK's the weather. I don't mind rain as such but I hate that windy/ rainy kinda weather. Those days when you can't even use your umbrella because it would break straight away. The UK is also quite badly affected by the credit crunch. As for Switzerland, I felt like the main downside about living there was the people. You hardly ever see anyone smile when you walk through the streets. I also thought that it was a rather boring place to live. The nightlife isn't very good, not even in major cities.

Thanks! We were actually discussing this the other day. We don't really know our way around Manchester though. Any suggestions where we should park to avoid the worst?

Fines proposed for going without health insurance
It's compulsory to have a health insurance in Switzerland and the system seems to work fine. The government supports you if you can't afford it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Healthcare_in_Switzerland

English Accents
I think most people who say that they love the English/ British accent mean posh Southern accents. Thing is most British people don't sound like Hugh Grant at all.

The Weather Thread..
It's cold and rainy here.

Robbie Williams...
Sales figures don't reflect the quality of an album though. As I said before I didn't like Rudebox. I guess it was an experiment and he knew that he was taking a risk. Robbie mentioned several times that he dislikes some of his greatest hits and his film Nobody Someday showed that he was very unhappy with his life as a popstar. I know that you've got to be careful with this sort of information as he obviously has people who advice him what he should say in the media. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true though. Maybe he was trying to record an album which was more like him. The texts are certainly very personal.

Fuck MY LIIIIFEEE.
You will have to mention it at some point. Be as polite as you can.

Robbie Williams...
Btw I found this when I was looking for an interview about the new album. Thought it was funny. [ame= ] [/ame]

Robbie Williams...
Not really. :\ Same here, I thought it was ok when I first heard it but I'm really starting to like it now. Probably. I mean you gotta give him credit for trying something completely different. I still think it would have been better to stick with what he's good at, which is pop music and not rapping. Having said that, I loved his swing album so it's not like I'm not open for something new.

Robbie Williams...
It's a matter of opinion obviously. I've always liked Robbie and I wanted the album to be good but I really didn't like it.
