  1. I'm grateful that some people are still polite enough to admit their mistakes and offer their apologies for them. It happened to me today that a criminal investigator called me on my mobile phone even though I didn't know what was going on or what he intended to find out but it was clear he had got it wrong when he asked if my name was "..." which wasn't obviously. He told me not to hang up because he was about to check whether he had written the phone number right which I did out of decency. (I highly doubt that a few people can share the same phone number simultaneously although I use a prepaid mobile number.) Later he apologized to me which I found polite and becoming because I've already experienced several telephoners who rang off with no apology at all. Politeness is the flower of humanity.
  2. My lack of concentration made me laugh at myself today because I wrongly translated a sentence written in the student book during German course. It goes Darum denke ich mir, dass die Marsstraße hier irgendwo sein muss. which I would translate into English as "That's why I think that the Mars Street has to be somewhere here." But I mistook "denke" for "danke" so I said "That's why I thank myself that the Mars Street has to be somewhere here.". I couldn't help but laugh at this since it was way to funny to forget that immediately. :joy:
  3. I can remember myself holding a toy microphone while singing to it and performing something like a chair dance during dinner when I was a child, LOL. :joy: All right, I've never been to a large scale concert before but out of all my favourite musicians and bands I would like to attend a Coldplay concert most! I also face the same issue with the smilies on the Coldplaying app on my mobile phone. However, this list should help us both: https://coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?help/smilies
  4. Hello, you have written a great post overall, thank you for sharing your story! I can relate to some points you've mentioned. Firstly, I'm also relatively new in the "Coldplay World" and still learning how the things work that I haven't known about before. You don't need to worry because sooner or later you'll find all the answers for your questions and you can also ask the other Coldplayers if you tie yourself in knots. Secondly, I had heard the music by Coldplay only from TV or radio before I actually became a fan of theirs. However, I haven't seen them live yet. I'm happy for you that you've managed to go to their concert, watch them perform live and have a good time! Lastly, I hope your child succeeds in learning how to play guitar since it would be truly amazing if it happened so. Happy scrolling and browsing the forums!
  5. Despite not being a fan of The Chainsmokers I quite like their new song called "Sick Boy". The track is not so bad at all but I believe there is still room for improvement regarding both the input and output of the duo.
  6. Lately I've been again wondering about what 'suprises' the Coldplay might have been preparing for us concerning the live album. Well, I wish they would bring out a raw compact concert film with NO gaps and without too many crazy effects, insane filters and devastating editings (as @yoyo2000 mentioned) alongside with a tour diary documenting the development and course of the AHFOD Tour itself including the footage of recording the Kaleidoscope EP (reference to @I ran away, thank you for pointing this out!). I assume that the next thing I'm going to write is unlikely to happen but I certainly believe that that might be intriguing! It would be really smashing if the Coldplay also released a documentary film not only chronicling and capturing their lives during the AHFOD Tour which I've already mentioned earlier (Sorry for repeating myself!) but also focusing on both their professional and personal lives in general. I'm just guessing it might be also a secret project for celebrating their 20th anniversary which may document their whole journey since the very beginning up to the present day! Perhaps its working title is "Don't Ever Give Up - Believe in Love" or whatever Coldplayish appellation. They might just actually be making a rockumentary though... However, I really doubt this. Anyway, is anybody hazardously optimistic as me? :joy:
  7. [spoiler=A PICTURE FROM MY PLACE] Woah... I'm glad that I've discovered this thread because I really am fond of observing landscapes and taking photos of them... I also love hiking and there's no way I can ignore the beauty of surroundings and nature when I go for a walk. Also, the pictures of the other users are marvellous and enthralling in fact. I can't get enough of them! :D Alright, time for my observation. This is a photo which I took at the edge of meadow located in the outskirts of my town. I find landscapes covered with snow really beautiful and stunning somehow. It looks so dreamy and surreal... Even though this picture is one year old, I hope you don't mind that fact because there hasn't been a sunny day with such loads of snow since the beginning of this year unfortunately. I can't help myself but value and admire this snapshot since it appears very mysterious yet calming. :)
  8. [spoiler=UNRAVELLING OF MY STORY] @Carolina* , @onlylove , @yoyo2000 , @Draco Plot twist: I've just discovered now that I had left the pen and the pencil borrowed from my friend in the side pocket of my schoolbag which I didn't check to see when I was looking for both of them... I musta been crazy. What was I thinking? Slap my face and tell me it is not true at all! I wish this had not ever happened! :joy:
  9. I think it will because people might be suprised that no one has contributed to a thread for a long time so it can push them to keep it active or try to involve the rest of users in playing these games. Otherwise, it will get lost in time. On the other hand, users might feel discouraged by inactivity from posting anything so this can also cause a problem... It has just popped in my head that the situation can improve if there was a rule how many times a day a user is allowed to vote. (Let's say three times at maximum.) It might give the impression of being a great and reasonable idea but let's be honest... I'm convinced that no one wants to police the others whether they stick to the rules or be policed themselves... Quite a problematic solution. : unamused:
  10. Hurts Like Heaven [39] (+1) Paradise [41] (-2) I'm thinking that it'll be better if I don't take vote immediately after an update but wait for minutes, hours, days or even weeks to pass until someone else beside you and me joins this game because it's becoming very tedious and boring as you mentioned. :pensive:

  16. Hurts Like Heaven [40] (+1) Paradise [42] (-2) Correct. There are other songs that I can relate to or play more often than Hurts Like Heaven. However, I keep upvoting it because it just stands out to me.

  19. Hurts Like Heaven [41] (+1) Paradise [43] (-2) I know I will sound really hypocritical but I enjoy listening to the songs that were released as singles than the rest from Mylo Xyloto. :joy:
  20. Hurts Like Heaven [42] (+1) Paradise [44] Major Minus [0] (-2) I've never been fond of Princess of China to be honest even though I think it's one of better songs on the Mylo Xyloto record.
  21. Bigger Stronger [28] (+1) No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground [18] Such A Rush [6] (-2) Brothers And Sisters [23] Easy To Please [6] Only Superstition [33] Don't Panic (Blue Room) [4] See You Soon [6]
