  1. I'm sending the folks of Chicago much love, hope Colortura will be played but the band might have another song that'll surprise and delight too.
  2. https://youtu.be/sXMuJAIgKcg
  3. Coldplay has already replied... though were still left in the dark, "The truth is still out there" is vague. I hope the upcoming 'Beautiful' (Dont feel like spelling it correctly as Coldplay intended) music video gives us an Easter egg or so. They can digitally add things into the video. We'll see.
  4. Welp, apparently YouTube wont let me download my own video onto my PC unless I have an upgraded version. Well here it is anyway, I don't like how I captured the footage but I think the audio isn't too bad. Enjoy https://youtu.be/cOcR2tBilGM
  5. I recorded The Race at the May 12th concert in AZ. I'll post it later, not really happy about the footage so I'd like to edit it and show folks a still photo of the band while it plays. Hope it's a crisper version of it but we will see.
  6. This information is new to me. For years I thought the voices said, "What Happened? What Happened? What Happened?" It adds to the narrative that the song is somber about the breakup, like the narrator can't just get past this. If it is "Alchemy", I'll have to get used to the fact I was wrong this entire time (years in fact). I suppose it doesn't ruin the song, if I examine the album there's a song called 'Magic' so having whispering voices saying "Alchemy" goes with that theme. Do I think it's as powerful as "What Happened?", Nope not at all.
  7. This was my last video, only two I'm aware but I truly wanted to not be more in the moment and less behind a screen. Felt good to just dance alongside other passionate fans. I'll see if my Father has any good recordings later. Enjoy
  8. That was a pretty decent show. The Charlie Brown preformance was spectacular. For me my favorite part was Johnny singing the very last note of In My Place. It would've been nice not to have had duplicates of Biutyful yet... I have to keep a positive spin, it's not everyday your venue's cheers gets to be recorded on an official music video for the future. The puppets were pretty charming, I find it hard to loathe them at the moment.
  9. I'll post the special Phoenix song later (video); I was lucky in that I recorded the full thing. I'm horrible with names but the male artist from Texas joined Coldplay to perform this orginal song. It appears each state will get a new song, we will see♡

During this preformance they recorded footage for the upcoming music video for Biutyful on Coldplay's YouTube channel.)) 20. Sparks Ft. Preston Wait 21. "Phoenix AZ" an orginal Coldplay song Ft. 11. Re-did my sign for the concert. Learned for the venue I'm attending it can't have study cardboard, glad I looked over the rules. Feeling a bit more unsure at this moment if Coldplay will play my song request, "The Goldrush" live. It would be such an historical moment for the Coldplay community. Ultimately the band gets to decide not me. Whatever the outcome, I feel sure I'll have a good time at the concert tonight.
  12. They played Coldplay like a fiddle. That was a difficult article to accept.
  13. I also associate 'Charlie Brown' song with the MX era. That works for me. SJLT appeals to the loose audience attendees that only know a few of Coldplay's song library. I wouldn't remove it. I'm mixed if it were to be more stripped down.. maybe do the opposite and lean into the dance techno element. Make it a mini rave-experience lol. "Bring Coloratura back." Yes, yes with a large helping of yes! "And my biggest request: play songs spontaneously (rather totally messing it up than not trying) from the audience signs. " I think it can work if you play your cards right, the fan who held, The Gravity song request sign was genius because they knew Coldplay played it the night before during practice. I'm hoping they might consider playing The Goldrush song because I've been on various online platforms trying to let them know it would please me. It might not work but I'd rather try over just wishing for things to magically occur. I do agree without some planning the songs on signs might not play as well if it's songs the band is heavily unprepared for; valid point.
  14. I'm in agreement. At the very least I hope they'll set aside a minute of the show to shine white lights, warmly greet the crowd and ask folks with signs to raise them up high. Then they'll choose one song to play that's not on the docket etc. Just keep the show interesting and unexpected. Them playing "Dallas Every Day" was a good start but I hope the USA crowd will get more of that spontaneity.
  15. Now the concert is a week away, I decided to share what I've been secretly doing leading up to this show. Years ago, I recall logging onto the official Coldplay website after school. That day they posted a web-link to a new music video... it was titled,The Goldrush. I recall I rapidly clicked and watched with delight as I saw this colorful musical record spinning then the song kicked in. The song was very charming, to reference another YouTube commenter, Beatles-like. I adored the sound, it was unlike anything I heard from Coldplay before. The combinations of vocals from each band member was lovely. So I naturally assumed they'd play this song live one day and I unfortunately kept waiting. At the moment, it's been 13 years when that song released and I'd like for the Coldplay community a chance to hear this song live-- if -- and only if, Coldplay decides to do so. So 3 months ago I decided to make a digital campaign on the official The Goldrush music video. Today I just finished upcycling a large star birthday balloon into the backdrop of a sign I plan to bring to the show. If my mission doesn't succeed at the very least others might've seen the song thanks to my comments, or my sign if they happen to see it at the concert. Just felt like I should show off my passion for this song.
  16. Biutyful vs. Warning Sign
  17. This flew under my radar. Hope the dateline get pushed back if possible.
  18. Miracles vs. Miracles (Someone Special) Hope my comment makes good logic, I believe these are two different songs created by Coldplay. I recall, Miracles was featured in a film. I personally prefer Miracles (Someone Special). Found the music video to be uplifting and the lyrics more meaningful to me.
  19. Rats. I tried it ripping it using the VLC Media Player and that didn't work for me. The Windows Media player did work though for me though. Best of luck to you.
  20. Not truly answering your question but maybe a different service would help? I haven't used Windows Media Player in a very long time. My sister introduced me to, VLC Media and I haven't returned to Windowa Media Player. VLC is cross-platform and free. I thought it was odd at first because the icon the developers use for this application is an Orange Construction Cone however I've been using on my main (Windows) PC for years and haven't had any issues. I've been lazy and still haven't taken the Music of the Spheres tracks from my CD over to my PC. I hope I don't have your same error. My only word of advice is... Ensure your CD is clean, ensure you know what location you want your songs to go, and verify Windows Media is Updated. Ohh.. another aspect too, know what file type you want for the songs... it could be you selected a music file type that Windows doesn't like. It's been years but I recall Apple made MP4 or something and that doesn't bode well with Windows users. I always ensure my songs are in MP3 format. I'm not that skilled in computers but I hope some of my comments are useful.
  21. Viva la vida [VS.] Reign of Love Sometime I'll hear music when I'm out in about that I'm convinced is Coldplay but then it hits me it wasn't a Coldplay song to start with. I have better judgment now because I've poured many hours into knowing their library of songs but in the beginning I was confused sometimes. Years ago I thought Coldplay released a song that I just wasn't aware about. After I heard the song at the mall, I repeated the vocals to myself. That's critical if you want to track down most songs. When I returned home I typed in the lyrics and the online search engine revealed, "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" Song by Landon Pigg Just trying to help you out. At the moment I can't think of another Coldplay song that's opening reminds me of 'Hurts Like Heaven'. Best luck to you with your song hunting.
  22. Sound like fun but I don't have musical talent what so ever. Wish you the best in your project.
