  1. This YouTuber talks about "A Wave" song and provides a bit of bonus information that was in the Box Set for Music of the Spheres. I didn't own the box set so this was a surprise to me. What do ya'll think AUROW1 means?
  2. I completely agree, it felt like switching from various television channels to me. Each song was very different from each other. The Coldplay musical excites me; in my youth I had fond memories of watching The Beatles Yellow Submarine DVD with my Dad. If its anything like that or Interstella 5555: The 5tory Of The 5ecret 5tar 5ystem ...I'll be happy.
  3. ▪Opener: Politik ▪Closer: Hypnotised or Colortura I find it difficult to choose a closer because I appreciate both songs for different reasons. Hypnotised is wonderful because it ends lyrically on a strong upbeat presence, "It was dark... now its sunrise", just makes me smile. I admire Colortura because it reminds me of a throwback, classic song from the 60s. Cannot get enough from that track.
  4. Here is Gravity... welcome back old friend, incredible
  5. Unfortunately I'm not in that area, live in Phoenix already so that would be a burden for me. Wish you the best of luck. Hope the topic creator updates the date, this thread still reads "2022-05-03 " Please see my previous post but it's been changed. I'll grab a screenshot from the official Coldplay website. Just don't want everyone to be confused.
  6. I only heard it once from some phone footage but I wouldn't mind at all if they released it online in better clarity.
  7. All I can think about is you, it's all I can do [[ The italic on 'can' is from the previous post. Just read what this game is about so I hope this helps. ]]
  8. We seem to share the similarities, I wanted to like "Magic" however that song just didn't land in my favorites. It may've been the tone, I'm not versed in musical terminology however it seemed sour at times. Sour notes have worked well in other Coldplay songs but something surrounding "Magic".. it's difficult for me to jive or enjoy it. Difficult to put into words maybe it's best keeping it simple, it wasn't for me. Ghost Stories is a very personal album indeed. To be real with everyone after my first initial playthrough, I wept; left with a pit feeling in my stomach.. I was unsure if I should ever listen to it again. It was the strangest experience for me. Of course I got over that a few weeks later but knowing Chris' personal drama really through me through a loop. My favorite off the record (at this very moment is): - True Love - Midnight - A Sky Full of Stars And the Final 'O' song (I forgot the title and I'm too lazy to research.. need to cook dinner soon)
  9. Good catch. It sounds like Chris to me... might be a new song they're developing. I'm afraid on commenting with concerns to the lyrics, a lot is going on... it's difficult to make out clearly. On another note just found this user who worked in tandem with another fan to record one hour and forty five minutes of this concert. Enjoy.
  10. The intro and first song. I mentioned it already but it was a great decision for them to walk out to John William's E.T. score, made my day and I didn't attend. Hope they keep doing that.
  11. I only just started watching the Facebook video.. I'm flooded with delight the band walked out to John Williams "ET" score, damn.. that moment made me incredibly happy. A few years back when I was dating my boyfriend (now he's my husband) we were fortunate enough to see John Williams live in concert.. I'll never forget that show. His scores are incredible and now both artist who I admire are somehow mixed together.. aaa! ♡♡
  12. I want more Easter egg tie-ins.. like maybe a planet that akin to our Earth but the only color beings can see is sepia-gold (a non to the "Parachutes" cover). Maybe they could reference the planet or was it a moon...? Anyway that place where the "Talk" music video took place on.
  13. I'm delighted the band is playing songs from Everyday Life. For the longest time I truly thought they weren't interested in playing those songs so soon.
  14. Superb observation; reading your thoughts put a smile on my face, thanks. I now hope that's canonical for that segment of animation. A more story-driven tour would be neat. I just noticed in this music video they have more visuals to remind the audience music is being banned in the MotS universe.. alike how it was seen in the 'My Universe' music video. I'm not sure if they have other running themes but I'll try to keep my eyes open. I'm excited to see this tour because my Father (who I've been desired to share a Coldplay concert experience with for years now... but denied each time) he finally agreed to go so I wouldn't be left with a empty seat next to me. I have great admiration for him, he introduced me to music and the love for music at an early age and I'm overjoyed that though Coldplay does their own thing.. I sense some inspiration from other classic musical legends and that rich sound. I'm often on cloud-nine just envisioning how incredible It'll be when they play "Colorauta" live. I hope we both get a little tearful. :,) I will say I was more conservative with spending... in 2016 I got over-priced tickets and my tired-from-work husband who accompanied me; this year I'll be accompanied by my baby-boomer, retired-from-work Father and our seating is much father away from the action. I'm curious how the sustainability of this tour will do but I'm just looking to have a fun evening above all else.
  15. I'd have to agree. Wish there were better transitions between the raw/real world footage and the sci-fi dystopian animation. Like a dissolve of a television static or something. The lion robot was well designed, I also liked the scene with the kids listening to a record. So far it's my favorite music video from this era. Cannot wait to hear this live and see more of this animation being repeated on the screens over the stage.
  16. This is my second try at this... I doubt my setlist will be accurate however my goal was to include one track from every major Coldplay album, have the songs be some-what 'space themed' or jive well with the songs around them and to add a good majority of songs from Music of the Spheres. The icons are just for me, helped jog my memory on what album the song debuted on.
  17. I wouldn't mind if Humankind was the major opening the show, it does sound like a good fit with the countdown and everything. Good choice with the other songs choices. It never occurred to me they might add an unreleased song, good thinking. I posted my list on Reddit however after listening to the tracks in order.. I feel my setist is way too lengthy. Need to trim it down.
  18. These are very cute, don't think I've seen these emojis before. Relating to the topic, I haven't heard the orginal "Day N Nite" song so I feel I owe it to myself to seek it out before listening to the cover.
  19. Earlier today I listened in to this older live Coldplay show from this YouTube channel called 'Coldplay World', it was during Head Full of Dreams Tour.. when they sang "Up & Up" it struck me pretty hard. Reminds me of the terriable happenings in the world right now.
  20. Unfortunately I forget the CD.. I'm going with my gut here.. it may've been 'Coldplay Live In Buenos Aires' (2018) few swears were spoken. In the past though I don't consider it a severe swear myself, they wrote a song titled "Idiot". For me Coldplay has always been a band that doesn't mind swearing it's only been fairly recently they've included swearing in the album releases during playing, directly in the songs lyrics and the ratings board forced to slap a mature rating sticker on their work.
  21. Got loads of Inception vibes from this music video. Glad it was in black and white, has a timeless quality to it.
  22. A L I E N S vs. White Shadows
  23. I'm hoping Coldplay's musical project will be animated. There's something pretty magical about animation. As for 'Let's Somebody Go' and the wrap up of that music video... its understandable but I was rooting for 'People of the Pride' or 'Humankind'.
  24. Got a notification from SeatGeek that Coldplay has moved the concert from the orginal date, Tuesday May 3rd to... Thursday May 12th. It's still at 7pm.
  25. I'm excited to People of the Pride live, I enjoyed the YouTube footage from the Seattle show. I have high hope's for that one. I'm curious about the songs that rely on other artists and are more digital sounding.. unsure if that'll translate well into a large stadium. If they play Infinity Sign, hope the audience participates like the orginal recording of that crowd. It would definitely evelate that song in an incredible way.
