  1. This won't be much help however I doubt the shoe brand is Nike because it doesn't have it's iconic logo; same with Adidas... they have 3 stripes on the sides. These are the results I got but I can tell its not his shoe https://www.google.com/search?tbs=sbi:AMhZZisv6Z13qR48g_1m_1yYYS_1p6TqsdTPqW-03HXe4zF3hMHxJNIjmOGA62zox-03QIVeVocQBbtZ5lw-OK9FywqJBqseNdH76-WGXVLVUr26xlWvhW-YimiBNet9kPeA97mbINYEJ1ia989vqS0tgPYjb4qBMgn4qAZgXWuQ0KCl_1jaYM80HUWZVRD00xqdMBXeYkUL4ayeSi1LsBjVjiFieNM3zywY-JSslMexB-AjMnx7v257L5bGkzlaGx2V26sJvIVuJ9FyR5uqcfWgR5JOCtTxxuHjGIZ8Le4-ELS7gAg-HOzhP00vb1UYteEIfEKCasp6vnwWW7CgaE8PCS7-anLBj3-vgg&hl=en
  2. I'll fetch my CD tomorrow in an electronics store however I'm very curious to listen to Coloratura; I've purpously been avoiding that one to experience on my first playthrough. Know its like 10 minutes or something so I hope it delivers a nice musical experience.
  3. Gave the laugh emoji only because I knew that wasn't the intention this particular song had with this colab. My thoughts are these two musical acts coming together and 'rebeling' against outside forces who want to take their music away or demand that they can't unite in a musical celebration. By removing BTS here.. it ruined the momentum for me. You did do a superb job on your edit of the song but I can't help but chuckle a bit.
  4. If they choose to play, "Champion of the World" live at any concert (I'm hoping someone somewhere will host their phone video onto YouTube) I'll be very happy. I'm expecting the vast majority of songs being on MotS, maybe they'll cut out 1 or 2. When I attended AHfoDreams tour the one I saw they cut out "Army of One" and but that was pretty much it. When I saw the Viva tour, they cut out "Yes" with the venue I attended. Just wanted to give some context to why they'd remove some songs from the setlist. It would be sweet if Coldplay chose to play "Gravity" or "Moving to Mars" or "All I Can Think About Is You" or "Atlas" or "Square One" or "High Speed" because to me these collections of songs or by-themselves remind me of space in one way or another. They lend very well to this universal/space themed album.
  5. Just returned from the official video of "My Universe" on YouTube... I avoided the song till now because I had this idea it would be neat not to know all the song's leading up to the album's release but I had a rough day today, noticed it was airing like 30 minutes after I had logged on so I waited for the premier and gave the song and the music video my time. My first impression is that I liked it. In the album teaser they played the ending bit of this song... so my expectation was this song would launch with that theme. It made me very puzzled because I truly liked that bit and it didn't play much. I'm very interested in looking up the translations for what was said in Korean (I believe), the visuals were nice however I was a bit lost on the narrative. Think a space-ship wanted to take away their joy of music?? Unsure. Need to give it more plays but so far, it's a decent song. Might not be my favorite on this album but who knows.
  6. Haven't heard the song yet however I'll cover my ears until that album drops, it's nice to have suprises. The only aspect I can type about is BTS officially confirmed to be in collaboration with Coldplay. I don't know much of BTS music if I'm honest, I am aware they're very popular and hopefully this decision might bump up this album's awareness. It did seem this collab sorta occurred naturally and not forced. I remembered seeing BTS cover of "The Scientist" on YouTube. .. I'm just unsure if I truly like this colab or not. Maybe I have an bleak view because when I mentioned Coldplay had a new album this year to one of my husband's younger brothers (barely even in his 20s) he told me, "Coldplay is still around? They should've moved on by now" His comment made me feel so deflated inside however I don't blame him for his thoughts, I appreciate his honesty; maybe that's another reason why Coldplay did what they did.. they want to remain relevant and hip.
  7. My week has been a whirlwind... our home is undergoing roof repair and before the workers tackled that project they suggested to my husband and I it would be ideal for us to take down our prized artwork. We took them off the walls and laid them down in our office table. I made a meal on the stove and started pondering where my 2 year old was. I found her in the office, she used the office chair to hoist her up onto to the table and stood directly ontop of one the precious framed art we have. I was heartbroken and angry, I sternly placed her on the floor and led her out of the room. It's so ironic.. we bought that artwork because we knew it would go up in value that was our mini investment to her and now she slightly damaged it, it will forever not be as perfect as when we first obtained it. So how does this relate to your podcast? I am truly overjoyed you gave the community new episodes. The last time I listened in was Prospekt's March. It might be small however I'm glad I have new episodes to keep my mind off this recent tragedy. I plan to listen when I workout on the tredmil. Anyway I know I've been tough on your team but please know I appreciate what y'all do and I'm glad you're continuing covering Coldplay's discography! ♡
  8. This recent track from Keane is stuck in my head. I also just listened to The Killers 'Pressure Machine' thanks to Chris Martin posting on YouTube's Community tab. It's quite good as well.
  9. That's really good to know; Thank you. Decided to post a photo of my CD. Knowing what I know now, I wish I didn't write all over it back when I received it late 2011 or so from a fellow fan ..however it adds a bit of charm. May've been influenced my Chris' writing on various things. If I remember to... I'll take this CD to a live concert someday and try to get some members of the band to sign it. Didn't want to scribble my name on the CD back then because I knew I might not always be around.
  10. Ahhh it's in New York; unfortunately that's too far away from me. I'll give it some thought, think my hubby wanted to see a wrestling show in New York but its toward the end of September... just typing it out, the dates don't sync. Good luck to you ♡
  11. My memory is a bit fuzzy however I believe during Coldplay's Viva La Vida tour at some venues they handed out a free CD to concert goers. Unfortunately though I went to one of the shows during the Viva tour... I wasn't one who got it because Coldplay did this like after a few stops and the venue I attended, that idea wasn't yet formed. Anyway after reading up on it in 2011 or so I bought a used CD copy for $50 online like on Ebay. I felt it was worth the steep cost because of the scarcity factor and the fact it was only available to select attendees etc. It was never sold on the Coldplay store. I also read reviews and it was very positive so the Coldplay fan in me was like, I need this for my collection. Anyway jump to today, I discovered they're making "Left Right Left Right Left" available to buy digitally through iTunes and elsewhere. Here is the html link Coldplay provided on their Youtube community post; https://coldplay.lnk.to/LRLRL I'm glad this CD gets more listeners however I'm curious if this'll result in my physical CD being less valuable. Does anyone have an answer?
  12. I'm not too happy about this news of 2 songs for the Japanese audience ...however... If they have it available through a digital music platform to buy the same date (or same week) as when the Japanan's CDs are released, I'll survive. Let it be known that I'm very much not in favor of this practice.
  13. For your first question, I too don't know the answer. I believe you can contact Coldplay on thier Tweeter account and someone mamaging that account may take a look at it. Its not guaranteed but worth a shot. For your second question, I don't plan to order that collection unfortunately. Since I've known of Coldplay (2002) I have been buying only their music from CD discs. I don't have any plans to change up the format. Got this metal mesh box in the 2000s or so and I've had my small musical CDs collection in there. I'm excited to add Coldplay's 9th one later this year. I do own 1 Coldplay album (ARoBttH) however it's for looks because I realized the store I bought it from displayed it at an angle and unlucky for me.. it has this terrible warped sound when I played it on my Dad's record-player. I've been deterred from trying other music media aside from CDs or digital. Lol
  14. Luckily I was near my front entryway and heard someone slip something into my mail box. Turns out it was my Coldplay shirt. I'm very pleased with it. They used the fictional K language (forget the name sorry) to indicate the sizes.
  15. My question is also relating to Coldplay's shop website. Pre-ordered a Higher Power tee and the website said it would arrive "2021 July" however I've been checking my emails and nothing has come in. Have any of y'all gotten your Higher Power merch yet?
  16. Dunno about the rest of you however it pained me when the Everyday Life CD released and months later or so I discovered the Japanese version of the CD had one additional song not found on my North American copy, "Flags". This thread is my effort to encourage Coldplay to release, Music of The Spheres in it's entirely for all territories. No additional songs to the CD. The quote, "Definitive Edition" if you will. If they decide they want to tack on another song but the CD is released... I encourage them to have it available to download on most popular song buying platforms such as iTunes for example. Maybe its a marketing strategy however I very much dislike this practice. Most collectors want to get the complete listening experience, as much entertainment value as they can and shipping a CD from Japan is quite wasteful on the environment. The environment is one cause Coldplay is behind right now so I thought I'd point that out as well. I ended up purchasing "Flags" on iTunes however I'll be as mad as a horret if Coldplay pulls these shenanigans again. What you you all think about this? Would you purchase your copy of, Music of the Spheres if you knew guaranteed it would have all the songs or do you like more spontaneity with having them release a new song in another country etc?
  17. Had a dream last night that once the, Music of the Spheres era/chapter was over they'd release one last album/CD set and it contained had all of Coldplay's B-side only song tracks. They may've hinted at a few new songs too but I forget... Guess I have a wild imagination but it was be neat to see an only B-side album.
  18. A recent alcohol advert on television led me to this song. Heard it before but gosh it still holds up. Spectacular. Ought to revisit that film.
  19. Want to apologize if my earlier comment was too harsh. I have enjoyed listening to your podcast, just finished your lastest episode on "Prospekt's March". Noticed less side-talk and I felt happier. Maybe its because I've grown used to YouTube content creators and the 'time stamp' feature; guests enjoying the entertainment can jump right into what topic they want. Podcast format isn't bad it's just I don't want to skip around and possibly miss anything. I'm confident folks do tend to enjoy your banter and maybe I'm a few of the individuals who like the dicussions to be more focused. Still wish you boys the best and I plan listening to the rest of your Coldplay episodes. "Ghost Stories" I found to be a beautiful entry for Coldplay's work and I'm eager to know what you've thought of that album when that episode is available.
  20. Here is the preview Coldplay mentioned, the "Overtura": Unsure if y'all would like to see this however someone in the comments posted the track list with some unicode symbols. Unsure if these tracks are official yet.. I don't have my Alien language cheat sheet on me at the moment.
  21. Love this guy's passion for music how he examines how a song works for him. I'm not musically taught so as an outsider it's cool to see how he conveys various aspects. Watched some of his videos before however didn't see this particular one. Thank you so much for sharing. From one 'Coldie' to another, this was a wonderful breakdown of that song.
  22. I'm so excited they're talking about this song recently. Here's hoping they'll think about adding it to a live song set-list.❤️
  23. Ladder to the sun, it was mentioned before but I really like that one too. Idiot (the time-frame was during Coldplay's 2nd album) Life Is Beautiful (during the Head Full of Dreams era) To be honest I don't know too many of the unreleased songs. Before I did some digging the only one I knew beforehand was, Ladder to the Sun. Think I saw that on forums probably here some years ago. I did hear Life Is Beautiful before but I didn't realize it wasn't in an CD or official somewhere.
  24. Decided to listen your podcast. Completed your coverage the episodes on Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head and I'm currently in mist of your discussion of, X&Y . Please for the benefit of your listeners please tighten up your podcast. Y'all were jabbering and getting off topic and it just hard to sit through when there's a meaty topic to be discussed and you guys keep trolling us, its just not right. I shouldn't have to sit through like 32 minutes in your X&Y episode for you two to finally start covering and breaking down the first track, Square One. That is a long wait. Sure you did warm up and set the tone of how the album came to be however I disliked all the side talk and I personally think it hurts what your doing over helping. My intent was to type out how I felt. My honestly. I love Coldplay and I have been enjoying your discussion and thoughts on the band but please try to trim the fat as it were. Its difficult to take you both seriously. Who knows maybe you two intended for this podcast to be more loose fun and have plenty of banter or whatever I just felt sometimes.. `Is this even Coldplay related?` or I have to remind myself... `So why did I click on this? Hold on what was the main topic?` Do not be afraid to edit. I'll finish this episode now. Sorry if my criticisms were too much however I felt it wasn't right for me not to convey how I felt about your show currently. Nobody has commented yet so I wanted to be the first. Thanks for covering Coldplay, you guys seem to be the only Coldplay podcast so I hope you do well and continue to improve.
  25. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CQbc2Bho0Ry/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Chris and Jonny just today finished up a short 15minute session in the studio. It just hit me... think they opened with "A Rush of Blood to the Head" (no lyrics), I'm getting the start of that song but it musically dissolves into "Violet hill"
