What I Didn't Like: The "la la la" didn't work for me being so early in the song. I listened to this my my child and they said to me, "Was the singer interrupting himself? That's funny." I have the same feeling it's like the singer is trying to sing about something important then suddenly tunes in out and like a little child plugs his ears and says, "la la la" just felt immature. If that's the intention I'll forgive them but I personally didn't like that part in the song. Also not much going on with the beat, very basic. It's not until the ending climax (around 2:48) I feel like this song is going somewhere and perks my interest more. What I Admired: Those lyrics, "I know that I was born to kill .. Any angel on my windowsill", is interesting and sparks my interest. I hope Coldplay does an interview about what this song was trying to convey. Is it a message that society wants us to figuratively `kill' or be harmful/negative towards positive things like angels for example? Is it a play on the idea people have one angel on their shoulder that's sinful angel on your opposite shoulder, that's nice? Anyway I like that lyrical sentence because it gave me pause while listening to the song. Glad the voice of AngelMoon is softer here, thanks for that. `One gets torn apart, one gets a broken heart` this lyric how it's sung reminds me of Taylor Swift, not bad. 2:48 I like the guitar here, tune that channel of music up please. I also like this notion of speaking to the audience and letting them know they aren't alone. Think more people needed that re-affirming message after COVID. To wrap up, is it my favorite Coldplay song? No, it was a simple song and hope the other songs are better for my tastes. It's more so a middle of the road song for me.

Lately I've been watching this YouTube channel called, LoreFi. It's an quote, "LoFi music channel where chill beats and thrilling story come together." It is very apparent looking at the image it's heavily music influenced and I couldn't help but notice the butterflies on her tac board reminded me of the confetti butterflies dropped during live Coldplay concerts. I decided to see if they looked the same and scanned my own confetti butterfly.... they didn't match in design but it would be cute if it was a nod to the band. Just thought I'd share it with the community.

I'm really excited for this project. It would be sweet if the potential Robots song if it does happen I'm hoping the music video to Robots features the same Robot used in Coldplay's Talk music video. That would be a fun nod.

Dunno how accurate this is but I was surfing through the YouTube comments and someone said Chris mentioned a few years ago he'd play "Hypnotized" live more for the next tour. Jump ahead to this current tour (Music of the Spheres Vol.1) and the band still hasn't played it. Think they will? Maybe he forgot. I love this song though, it would be great to hear it more. I don't have any link to the broadcast, I watched it at the movie theater and to respect the band I only took these two photos below and not of the event itself. I'm too shy to show my face online so these elephant faces from 'Paradise' music video will have to do. My sister and I had fun yesterday with my daughter. I'm glad she got to experience most of the show with me. Unfortunately it went on way passed her bedtime... she pleaded with me to go home early. We left after 'Clocks' wrapped up but it was fun to be with fellow Coldplayers and singing with everyone.

I'm not a musician but I kept hearing similar notes to Coldplay's Daddy in this song. Let me listen again... yeah, when he sings, "there is no one esle" [1 min. 6 sec. timestamp into the music video] Daddy music video at this part reminds me the same notes just slowed down.[1 min. 22 seconds]

What I've done in the past when my printer was having issues was I drove to a store that specialized in making art prints etc. I explained my situation to one of the staff members and she gave me a small discount because I was printing a simple 8"×11" paper, nothing major. Just ensure you have the digital document onto a scan-disc device and it should be good.

Now that I've been a parent for a 2-3 years I've started to really embrace naps. When I was younger by parents taught me that naps are time-wasters however I learned that just 28 min. one can truly re-set your mind and made me feel more productive afterwards. Do you like the taste of roasted vegetables with sea salt and pepper?

I enjoy Sparks however you made a brilliant point, folks were murmuring during at the concert I attended as well. Wish folks were more respectful but it is what it is. I admire it's an older song though, but they also suprised us with 'Gravity' during this MotS tour so anything is possible. I wouldn't mind at this point them cutting Sparks because now it's pretty regular on the setlist. We'll see what happens. I haven't been tracking the shows as feverishly now. I hope I get word when they start playing Coloratura again though.

I am in agreement with cutting one... if be, Human Heart or Let Somebody Go because to me anyway, these songs both share similarities in being a slower paced songs that relate to something painful. They both feel samey in my personal opinion, if you cut one I feel it would bode better for the setlist. Hymn & My Universe I'm torn on because they're not -my- favorites however I sense the community at large likes these songs, so I'm leaning to not touching them if I had the opportunity to edit the setlist. Also if My Universe and another song listed above were cut... 2 songs from MOTS will be gone and that doesn't feel like a tour for said album at that point. I clearly remember when I saw them in 2008 during Viva only "Yes" was cut from the show applying that here, I think only 1 song from this album should be cut if they decide to do so.

I watched it, better then what I was expecting actually. I didn't know they would add other settings to this music video. The mini narrative going on made me smile. Wish I liked the song itself more however I found The Weridos to be quite charming. Might watch it again on a slower play-back speed to see if there's any Easter egg references but I'm unsure if they did anything like that for this music video.

You do have a point, most fellow Americans I know aren't too thrilled to see a film with me if the runtime is past 2 hours. On the other side of this topic... there are some American artists such as, Lynyrd Skynyrd who wrote "Free Bird", that song runs 9 minutes. I think when it comes to it Coldplay wants to play Coloratura when they think the moment is right. I would've liked to have heard it live but it just wasn't meant to be. Hope the rest of the leg of this tour it's played like 3 times or so, we'll see.

I hope a few clips will be re-posted on YouTube later however The Weridos (the alien puppet band) and Chris Martin are on Jimmy Fallon tonight. Just saw them give a mini interview. They talked about how Chris met The Weridos group. Apparently it was after he finished a manicure, lol.

Bit of an update, I believe this was the interview I saw... in a portion of Chris explained they want the setlist to be more structured akin to a musical, his words "it does repeat some nights". So I have my doubts now they'll cut any songs to include Coloratura. Bit disappointed... I was eager to hear Coloratura live when I went but it didnt occur however to lift spirit I focused my attention on the fan community and kept hoping other fellow fans in US would hear it live at some point however it's looking less and less like the direction they want. Oh well; I thought it was the greatest song on that ablum. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

I've gone to one of the shows this year. A staffer at the entrance provides guest(s) with the Xylobands. (When I arrived I also got another staffer who gave us these 'Love' button pins. I've heard of the Love-button movement before... think the word "love" was spelled out during the 50th Super Bowl with Coldplay as one of the main musical acts. Not 100% sure of the cause however I have a haunch it's a way to spread 'love' to others. If you see someone who made you smile, an act of kindness delivered to you or another that made you happy etc ... try to give them a 'love'-button... think that's the concept.) Anyway... at the end of the show, before you leave they have these big blue buckets you place your band back so it can be reused for the next show. Dunno if my comment helped.

I think Gravity would fit well into the show and it's themes, least they played it once during this tour. I think Champion of the world, makes for a good stadium song but it's up to them. The fact E.T. theme is used in the opening for the band walking on stage and it's said in that songs lyrics... is rather special. Hope they'll include it on the tour.

Took me forever because I wanted to look at the stats. In the beginning I was thinking of cutting a Music of the spheres song however this is the tour honoring it so I decided to look elsewhere. If I did cut a song from the 9th album it would be Human Heart only because the numbers weren't as high compared to Let Somebody Go. Songs to cut: - Clocks (( again you could use a snippet in, The Lighthouse musical segment. )) - Something Just Like This

Dunno if this was posted already but I had to share it.

I'm curious to know what the Coldplay community would do if they were given reign over the song setlist and asked to remove two songs so that there's enough room and space to play the full version of "Coloratura" live. You can look at the previous setlists to help decide. I'm still plotting my answer... I've never joined Spotify but why I bring that up is.. on this site I recall reading Coldplay chooses the songs on that platform based on popularity. Knowing the Spotify Coldplay listing might help me in my decision-making.

Funny how your mind plays tricks on you. I haven't heard this song in quite sometime so for some reason I thought it was a midge slower. The pacing works as this fast tempo though... it just suprised me when I hit play on the video. Thanks for sharing your high quality version with the community.
