  1. An outlet covered this, https://fredericksburg.com/people/coldplays-new-album-inspired-by-star-wars-it-led-us-to-imagining-this-whole-other/article_1b77acdd-b0d8-5a95-a350-4566c2f079e3.amp.html
  2. This podcast gave me some pause while I listened to it. It appears that the band they have some idea of when they like to cease making new albums for Coldplay. I do recognize that all the bandmates (from my understanding) are Fathers now and it must be difficult to balance raising their kids and being wrapped up with responsibilities of being a well-known musicians. Have upright respect for them and the fact they have a plan how they see the future of this band. Just makes me slightly sad because I always had this mental image of seeing them play live when these fellows are in their sliver-fox stage like late 60s or so and now I'm not sure if they'll commit to that. I grew up in an household where my Father took me to, The Moody Blues and Paul McCartney and these Gents were well past their prime age-wise however they had a lot of energy to give. I really admired I saw them. Wish I could take my daughter to a Coldplay show however she's not quite old enough right now so it makes me wonder if I'll have that opportunity that my Father once gave to me. Now that I type it out, its terribly selfish of me to want them to play into their late 60s ... the band ultimately has the final say and if they sense they can do something else with their lives that is more meaningful or different or whatever they should pursue it. Maybe I'm making a big fuss over nothing. ________ Podcast Interview with Chris Martin: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/chris-martin-coldplay-talks-higher-power-working-w/id1273079673?i=1000524675806 Quote: Speaking on 'The Zach Sang Show' (podcast version, not YouTube cut of the interview) Chris Martin said: “I do know how many albums we have left as a band and it's not that many before we're gonna stop making albums, I think.”
  3. Still going through it but I need a break. The sex shop translation made me laugh, lol
  4. Just dropped, there's plenty of Kaotican text to translate in this, lol
  5. Gettinb slight bit of Joker vibes ('Mass Effect' video game series) from Jonny.
  6. I'd be all for that. Another song idea I think would be neat to experience is this. There's been a long history of various musicians continuing this fictional character's journey through songs. I'm typing about, David Bowie's "Major Tom" astronaut. ▪"Space Oddity" David Bowie 1969 ▪"Major Tom (Coming Home)" Peter Schilling 1983 ▪"Mrs. Major Tom" K.I.A 2002 ▪ "The Empty Glass" The Tea Party 2011 ( if you want more, search the wikipedia) Major Tom - Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_Tom ~ I'd be thrilled if Coldplay wanted to include a lyric about Major Tom or write an entire song about this tragic space hero. Do hope at least a few songs on this upcoming album have space imagery in the lyrics etc.

  8. Someone read my mind, in the comments of Tweeter they pointed out the following, see image attachment.
  9. Had to research what Coldplay tribute bands already existed: -Coldplace -42 - Ultimate Coldplay Have a bold idea that I think would be very meta but might work. Dunno why but their speech Coldplay gave while winning Grammy for Best ROCK Album in 2009 stood out to me... they spoke how they're music isn't really rock.. more or less like lime-stone rock. So I think you should nod to that and call your band, Starfish & Limestone (Starfish being the name that Coldplay would've picked).
  10. Need to get my kiddo to bed but here's what I was able to de-code thus far
  11. My brain is melting, lol ! For the first word on the right-side block of words appears to beCO2 Think the rest of them are relating toward things on Earth??? I could be very wrong.
  12. I'm trying to un-code it however.. these dancers blur the footage really well. Even when I did a screen-shot, it is incredibly hard to read, it's low resolution etc. Now that my kiddo is napping I might have time to solve it... I have to use my best guess-work though.
  13. Hadn't considered that much. The fact that some of the songs I really enjoy such as Politik has some heavy messaging so it's not always going to appeal to the crowd. Just finished listening to Coldplay's 42 minute set for BBC Radio 1, "Big Weekend". The set list was full to brim of their biggest hits and I was glad to hear them live and hone in on their various to these song however if I'm being honest with myself if they had just a bit more range in the song setlist like featuring songs that are less played but also are of the friendlier nature such as, "High Speed", "In My Place", "Speed of Sound", "Strawberry Swing", "Up With the Birds", "Ink", "Amazing Day" and "Champion of the World". That would be a good balance. To me it doesn't hurt to do so, by showcasing some of these other songs to the audience that might expand music some folks may've not heard.
  14. Oh really? How exciting! ✧ Thank you so so much. I'll keep my eyes peeled, thank you again.
  15. Never mind, I saw a page previously that informed about it: https://watch.glastonburyfestivals [dot] co.uk/livestream-1/backup/livestream1.html Time-Stamp for Coldplay: 55:49 Kinda wished we saw the video-entries the fans submitted of them all singing the 30 seconds of `Woah-Oh-Ohs' for Viva La Vida; Maybe they were worried about the quality of some of the videos or just didn't have enough time to assemble everything. Least I can tout that I entered my voice despite truly knowing if my voice was one of the ones used because the segment was darn short too really tell. Feels good that I did something outside my usual routine though, I dislike being on camera anyway so maybe this decision was the better one that Coldplay made. lol.
  16. Watched it on here. Sadly I was so busy I knew I wouldn't be able to pay and watch it properly. Anyone know if they posted the fan-video ensemble choir of Viva La Vida yet??
  17. Sadly I don't think I've seen that film however I'll go out on a limb and guess.... we never change ?
  18. Warning Sign ? "".... I started looking and the bubble burst ""
  19. Oh you said the song is from the album, Everyday life right?? BrokEn
  20. warning sign? I don't watch that show unfortunately. The crowd all has red hair so apart of me thinks they might all have green eyes however I truly don't know.
  21. Unsure where to post this topic however I hope it's the correct area. After Coldplay Tweeted out this message (see below): It seems like a done deal this updated version of Viva La Vida music-video with a batch of selected fans, will be released sometime this year. Folks are theorizing that it'll be released during Coldplay's appearance at the upcoming Glastonbury Festival ‘Live At Worthy Farm’ livestream. I don't have any proof of that however. Least I can hope after the Glastonbury event is over, they'll (Coldplay) release the Viva La Vida music video on their YouTube channel. Did anyone here submit an singing "Woah-oh-ohs" video entry for Coldplay? I did but I'm way too shy to share it here. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the video to be released. If I'm not selected it's no big deal however it would be cool once my child is older to pull up the video and say, "See? Mommy is here at this part of the video, only for a few seconds though!" lol. Truly I don't know what they plan to do with all the videos sent in but hopefully we'll know sooner rather then later. Happy to read your thoughts on Viva in 2021.
