  1. I became interested in Coldplay when I heard Fix You in November 2007 and for the first time paid attention to the lyrics. Those words expressed exactly what I felt at that time and I really loved the tune, especially that cord, the transition from the verse to the chorus. That song gave me so much hope and peace. Then I found out that I had heard many of their other songs before, like Yellow, Clocks, In My Place, Politik, Shiver. I had liked them but had not paid special attention to the group. But from November 2007 on I have been a fan. I like all their albums and almost all of their songs.
  2. I would very much like all the four of them sing together a capella (or with just one or two guitars) as they did on their trip to Barcelona with Brian Eno. Their voices go very well together, especially those of Chris and Will, but also Guy and Jonny can sing well. I am sure among their many unreleased songs there are some which they could sing.
  3. I remember reading about that weird incident.in December 2015. Chris came out of a restaurant together with his ex-wife and their kids. Several paparazzi were taking photos. One was standing directly next to the right front wheel of Chris's jeep, another one was filming the scene from across the street. When Chris started driving the photographer next to the car suddenly fell down, said he was hurt and called the ambulance. It was found out that he and the guy across the street were working together. The photographer shouted he wanted to sue Chris, but strangely enough no tabloid ever wrote anything about Chris actually being sued nor did they write about how badly the photographer had been injured. Some tabloids even wrote Gwyneth had arranged the whole thing:joy:
  4. I feel the same when listening to that song. It is such a heartwarming and uplifting song. Recently I have become quite fond of 'Glass of Water', a very underrated song which has an uplifting rhythm and a great tune. It just makes me feel happy.
  5. I also got 5/5 :D
  6. Let's hope so! We've been waiting long enough for some new stuff! Anyhow, there will be another Global Citizens' concert in New York this year. Perhaps they will release a new EP as 'Los Unidades'. Who knòws?. I hope they will find the right balance between alternative songs and more poppy tunes. They must try to attract new and younger audiences, too, because people who loved their original sound are perhaps gradually getting too old to go to their concerts.
  7. I completely agree and so does Chris himself. He admitted in an interview that in the mid-2000 years he had not yet learned how to handle the problem with the paparazzi and that attacking paprazzis had been a mistake.
  8. Yes, and besides Gwyneth had been very near dying when she had that miscarriage, as she said in an interview years later. And no Paparazzi should try to take photos and get interviews with people who are just leaving a hospital.
  9. Tooth
  10. Sky (and cucumber definitely is a vegetable:grinning:)
  11. cucumber
  12. 'Ich schwebe davon' and 'ich schwebe weg' means exactly the same.
  13. Und der Blick die ganze Milchstraße in deinen Augen Ich schwebe davon In my scarecrow dreams When they smashed my heart into smithereens Be a bright red rose, come burst in the concrete Be a cartoon heart
  14. I see the road begin to climb I see the stars, begin to show I see your colors and I'm dying of thirst Fly On
  15. Wir saßen auf einem Dach, gaben jedem Stern einen Namen du zeigtest mir einen Ort, wo man das sein kann was man ist Slow it down Through chaos as it swirls It's us against the world
  16. Thanks for the explanation. I just found out 'bump' appears in 'The Nappies' :)
  17. My song is love, love to the loveless shown 'Til Kingdom Come
  18. Beule (which song is that from?) Son, don't ask, Neither how full nor empty is your glass
  19. Chris seems to be or have been in London several times this year. Mobile Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8u9CF2g1Us So after all Coldplay might be working on some new songs? But Chris, Will, Jonny and Guy have not been seen together.
  20. Why weren't Jonny, Guy and Will invited?
  21. Couldn't it be they liked it? Their taste of music isn't necessarily yours or mine. We just have to accept it and be glad they always try something new. This song has become so popular all over the world. I think we shouldn't look down on all the people who like it.
  22. LEGALLY BLONDE? What does that mean?
  23. Can anyone decipher what is written on the 'pen'? LEGALLY B.....?
  24. I thought exactly the same. I would have loved more close-ups of the Coldplay members while playing instead of all those crowd shots. The idea behind showing how much the crowd enjoyed the music is of course to show how good Coldplay is in life concerts. But the crowd knew they were part of a film and so they sometimes overacted a bit. I think on the whole Coldplay have their greatest admirers in South America.
