The day before that episode aired over here, she told me that she found out who was going to die and was so upset she was never going to watch the show again. He was having trouble with his voice a month ago. I don't see why there's such a stigma with vocal coaches. They teach you how to take care of your voice so that this sort of thing doesn't happen. I was merely saying he was a real gentleman last weekend when a lesser man would have been making a stink to high heaven about the whole incident. Luck plays a huge role in any championchip win and every career, except for the very, very rare times when an unusually good driver is paired with a virtually undefeatable car. (And even then, there's always that chance a backmarker could have a tire or engine blow up a foot in front of you and take you out of the race.) Yes, that combination happened at Ferrari for a few years, but it's rare even among the legends of the sport. (Is it just me or has everyone forgotten what it was like before Shumi?) Luck only works when a person is talented enough to take advantage of it. I hardly see it as grounds for criticizing a driver.Well, Swallowed in the Sea is my favorite song on the cd, and The Hardest Part is my least favorite song on it, so there's really no contest for me. Now that they're playing it on the radio every hour or so I'm getting to like THP alot more- it doesn't sound so much like a country song anymore. I love that bit at the end where it goes "everything I know is wrong, everything I do it just comes undone"- its the story of my life some days. But I still like most everything else better.Muse - Knights of Cydonia (live)Yeah, the scene is IMPORTANT. Takes some of the edge off one of the nastier parts of the movie. I really liked it. I liked X2 better, but this was quite well done. I wish Nightcrawler was in it, though- he's my favorite character. And I had hoped if this is really the last one that Gambit would have been in it. But I guess there just wasn't room, really.Who cares as long as Edmonton can beat them? :PWish I could go... The trip would cost the same as about a half a years college tuition though! :confused:
