So what IS marmite then, anyway? I finally found one British girl who said it was some sort of a spread and that she hated it, but not what it was made of.

:lol: There's a grocery store around here that imports that brand of chips/crisps whatever they are from the UK. Some of the weirdest flavors I've ever seen. I made the mistake of trying the marmite flavored ones once. :sick2: No one had any idea what marmite was at the time...

There are on farms, I don't know if there are any wild ones. I've never heard of people seeing them around here.

Yep, I've been following it since long before it even existed, when I found out Dom Monaghan was doing a pilot for some cool new scifi show that was so well put together that it didn't have a chance. Little did I know it would turn out to be an obsession...

I don't know... it might have been. It happened in the mid-spring. All I know was that it was 5 in the morning and the stupid thing was really loud. The obvious doesn't usually occur to you at the hour.

I dont think w00t is that bad- it's useful and it has evolved far beyond its origins. (And it always makes me think of "Teen Girl Squad" for some reason) btw I love your sig, Steph. (I'm the one who goes around wishing people a happy Lost day every Wednesday ;) )

I met a turkey once. I was living down in New England at the time. A wild one ran onto the front lawn and started gobbling and running around in circles and bobbing its head up and down at about 5 in the morning. I have seen few things that annoying or stupid in my life. Needless to say, I've never had a problem eating turkey ever since.

l33t - leet It's short for elite. It's that broken messed up way of typing that gamers use to supposedly show how superior they are to noobs, like pwned for example. It's just annoying, I say.

There are two big differences between the songs though: - Matt can sing. Britney can't. - SMBH gets really catchy after you've listened to it afew times. With the Britney one, it only gets more annoying. In other news, I just saw the new video.... very, very creepy. :anxious:

I've always considered "geek" to be a compliment. In modern usage, its come to be understood to mean someone who knows what they like and cares about it to the point that they don't care what other people think.

I didn't really have anything I cared about before Coldplay. I listened to kind of folksy stuff when I listened to anything, like Loreena McKennit

Coldplay wasn't really around when I was a senior- missed Parachutes by a couple of months.

I don't have Kid A yet. The last albums I bought were Radiohead- The Bends, and Snow Patrol - Eyes Open.

My sister's homemade chocolate chip cookies! I'd forgotten all about wagon wheels...I used to love those.
