The reason the US is hated around there world is simply the fact that we butt into other countries business. I guess we feel compelled to help, and sometimes it is justified, but most of time we should just let other countries figure out there problems. It does us no good telling others what to do all the time. However, the reason we do butt in so much is because we have such a huge stake in global economy and we don't want to lose that.

I am used to his speeches and activitism in his concerts. And I do believe they are for the right causes. I just think he goes a little over board. Some is alright, but he just needs to tone it back some. I mean he could cut the one campaign speech some, it doesn't need to be like 4-5 mins. It could be like 1 min. and still get his point across.

I disagree. The speech Bono gives before hand ruins the song and momentum of the concert. He needs to keeps his politics and personal work out of the concerts. Don't get me wrong its all for a good cause, but it ruins the songs. The stuff he does during Sunday Bloody Sunday is a distraction too. Other than that U2 concerts are awesome. To comment on the second vertigo, U2 has such a wealth of songs they could play why play any song twice. I'd like to see them rotate their set lists more.

I read this over at the Killers fan site. It sounds like the Killers are trying to grow and expand there sound. I like Tom Petty and Springsteen so it should be a good album.

I agree with you they are an incredible band live...as long as they don't sound like they did during the Super Bowl. Ouch that was painful to listen to. I saw the Stones during the Bridges to Babylon tour and they were amazing. Definetely one of the best concerts I've ever been too.

The Killers are a great band. I saw them last May and they played an awesome show. Can't wait for the new album to come out later this year. It's suppose to be sometime this fall or at least in time for holiday season.

I like Two Hearts Beat As One...the song I could do without on War is Red Light...but it is definetely a great album.

I'm going to be at this concert too. It's exciting that it's Chris b-day didn't know it was.

Everyone should just take the grammy's with a grain of salt. Just because a band/song/album wins an award doesn't indicate if its good music or not. Like someone said earlier it's more of a popularity contest. Both U2 and Coldplay's last albums are not their strongest work, but IMO both good and definetely better than most albums out there. U2 probably shouldn't have won all the awards they did, but if you saw some of the competition for some of the awards who else would you give the award too.
