Can You Act?
I think I could if I wanted to. But I've never joined drama because the program at my school sucks. I did have the lead in the 2nd grade Magical School Bus play. Whoo! That was my shining moment.

The clock is set for 9, but you know you're gonna make it 8. So you two can take some time, teach each other to reciprocate.

No one thinks of them just in that way. I think we've cleared that up in past pages.

Happy St Patricks Day!
 hahahaha. Yeah, Bono's brother has a small restaurant called 'Nude' (B's clothing line is this name backwards, EDUN). Denise, you'll probably like this: http://www.atu2.com/dublin/ Heh. Yep, Sambo3000, I'm going to Oxegen. Should be fun, especially since the second day is my 18th birthday! What a blast!

People's preconceptions
People always talk crap about bands that they never bother to really listen to. Believe me, as a U2 and Coldplay fan, I know this. People are lazy and it's just easier for them to spit out whatever Rolling Stone says. I love how people feel so entitled to an opinion that's not even their's, but some magazines that they're just paraphrasing. It's pretty pathetic.

I'm sorry, I'd hate to beat a dead horse and take this thread somewhere it might not be going anymore... But I kind of have a serious suggestion that I might forward to Ian. I read a few pages back about someone mentioning moving the picture threads to CFU. Well, that's not exactly what it's for. BUT. What if we made another section for like...... "the girls" (or guys, I don't want to be sexist here ;) ). There's something similiar to this on Interference, a U2 forum. They have a whole area where mainly girls post pictures, chatter about how hot the guys can be, etc etc. Then there's a whole other area where people just talk about random things about the band (like this song versus that song, this album versus that album, the differences between time periods, etc etc). That's what I think this Coldplay section could be, then another area could be just for pictures and hotness threads. You know what I'm saying? That way everybody here wouldn't feel alienated and could have a whole entire area just for themselves to go nuts in. And the people who don't want to scroll over those certain threads wouldn't have to. I think that would make everybody a lot happier. But I'm probably wrong

Happy St Patricks Day!
Nope, I went on an Ireland tour last year and completely fell in love. So for my 18th I'm going back this summer. Whoo, I'm psyched!! And St. Patty's day just gets me more excited

Happy St Patricks Day!
They sure do, the Clarence. I'd love to stay there, but I don't think my budget would let me (since I spent almost all of it on the Oxegen festival I'm going to). I'm definately visiting it though, last time I went I only got to drive by.

What are you thinking right now?
As the microphone squeaks, a young girl's telephone beeps. Yeah, she's dashin' for the exit, oh she's runnin' to the streets outside. "Oh you've saved me," she screams down the line, "The band were fuckin' wank and I'm not having a nice time!" I don't want to hear ya KICK ME OUT! KICK ME OUT! plz.

I'm Scared About the Future, and I want to talk to you
I'm going to have a mental breakdown next year. Today I made my official/semi-unofficial schedule for Senior Year. Advanced Placement English Honors Problems In American Democracy Honors Journalism I & II Band IV Pre-Calculus Honors Spanish IV Heath and Gym, sadly  .....:( That's going to kill me. AP English and Problems in AD are apparently the two hardest classes in the school. I don't think I can do both of those along with Pre-Cal (which I wasn't even going to take). So I might drop the math and take Portfolio Art or World War II History to Present. I'm going to be writing a lot of essays next year. Sorry, I know that probably meant nothing to anyone, but I just needed to think about it somewhere. I know that it's my last year and I really want to shine, completely geek out. The schools that I'm applying to really stress writing and history, so that's what I'm going heavy on. It feels excellent not to take science ever again after this year!!! Phew! That is, if I pass this year and don't have to repeat..........

Superficial Coldplay Fans
It happened on a U2 board, I know that. Reporters started talking about how U2 fans rallied together in online forums to support the band after having to postpone their dates. Obviously, they didn't read the whole thread and see all the complaining... But that's besides the point. I don't know about here, but I think that'd be mildly hysterical if it did happen. Source: New York Times "As Coldplaying user an_cat mentioned earlier...." Wow that'd be weird.

I'm Scared About the Future, and I want to talk to you
Just a warning: If you want to go into the medical profession, think very VERY carefully before applying to a school specializing in that. My dad's a doctor and I live the problems he goes through. It's not an easy life (but none the less, extremely rewarding :) ). The training you have to go through is really hard, as well. Many, many of my friends are going to be applying to medical schools because for some reason since we were all little kids our teachers stereotyped the smart kids "doctors, engineers and teachers!" and all the other ones "not". So people in my classes feel a need to live up to this expectation. I don't like to see that, because it's not dealing with reality. Do what seems best for you, what you know that you can enjoy and strive in and most importantly, LEARN from! I sound like my therapist.

 Let us have one big Coldplay lovefest!!!! Ahhhhhhh-men! Right. It's obviously late for me and I've lost all my maturity. I have a dream, and that dream is that someday all Coldplaying.com forum members will be judged on the content of their character, and not on what part of the forum they post in! What that was, I don't know.

I'm Scared About the Future, and I want to talk to you
I was tempted to take a year off, as well, but have decided against it. I'm currently having a love affair with a couple of colleges that I'm so determined to get into. Mainly because one's in NYC and I think going to school there would be amazing. I go to the city so often I might as well live there, anyways! Yeah, so as you can see, I obviously am slightly vain when looking at my future. First thing I look at is location. THEN what classes they offer. Where are you from? The US? If so, check out http://www.princetonreview.com and look at some places there. They have top lists in all different categories and everything. It's actually pretty fun! I've been going through a lot of emotional issues that have been kind of caused by all this college searching and the stress Junior year in HS brings (especially at my school in the honors program, it's INTENSE). Don't let it get to you. Everything will work out, eventually. I honestly have no clue what I want to do when it comes to a JOB in the "real" world, but I do know that my job when I get out of HS is to go into third world studies. That's how I am viewing college. Not as a path to get a job. But as a job in itself. That probably made no sense, but it sort of makes sense to me and keeps me motivated. I'm not thinking that far ahead, and I don't suggest anyone to. If you do, you're going to go crazy. My dad was training to become a police officer, then decided he wanted to be a psychiatrist. Life is random.
