The whole album all the way through thing I don't know if it's just me but I remember Chris saying that the album was meant to be heard as a whole and agreeing with him at the time because I think the art of the album has been lost in most modern music. Either way, I've listened to every song off the album 4 times now, and each of those plays has been in its correct place alongside everything else. I think it will take a long time until I break the tracklisting or skip a song on this album.

I think "People moving all the time Inside a perfectly straight line Don't you wanna curve away?" is one of the best lyrics I have EVER heard.

The middle section instrumental sounds almost LINKIN PARK-ish. It's SO good.

betterthanyou... you're confusing me. Your life can't possibly be so boring that you're deriving any pleasure or enjoyment from this? So if you're not a fan of the band or the forum, why are you still here? Wouldn't you be in a club or something by now if you had any social skills, were this bored and didn't like Coldplay?

If he had arrived and said, "I don't like Lost? or Viva La Vida." people wouldn't have been at all on his back, they would have said, that's unfortunate.

You know what I just realised. I realised that one of the most impressive things for me is that Martin has obviously, at some point, sat down with Gwyneth and said, "Listen, for me to start writing good music again I need to go back to things that aren't you." This song is so real and so close to home that it may as well be lifted directly from A Rush of Blood to the Parachutes.

I honestly don't understand this. The vocals in the first verse weren't the best I've ever heard but were far from the worst. Everything past "ever wanna be king?" was perfect. I honestly thought it was a good performance!

Get down off your f**king high horse for a second or two. People like YOU are the reason that: a) your religion is dwindling and losing support in all corners of the world b) there is so much religious hatred c) I dislike arguing with religious people. The 'save you' ethos is nonsense and is a way for religious people to feel superior to others. It gives you a kick, and don't deny it. I have NO problem with the variety of faiths and non-faiths this world demonstrates in its diversity and no issue with any person practicing any religion. What I do have a problem with is people that try to force what they personally believe onto others, especially through such preachiness as the classic "I hope you learn the truth before it's too late." Don't you realise that these stories are all invented and manipulated in such a way as to control people? If Christianity worked in any other way (and the same is true for other religions, too) then its base would not survive because it is the myths of Heaven and Hell that keep people 'in line' and you are no different, and if you think you are then you are kidding yourself. What you also need to understand is that people taking the Bible as canonic evidence of God's existence is like courts taking a defendant's statement as the truth in every case without question. This is not a flame, this is a reasoned post; you are bang out of line saying that kind of thing and it annoys me that people like you are allowed to get away with it on the grounds that the invisible guy YOU believe in is one of the more popular delusions. If you had been brought up in the Middle East you would be Muslim, in Asia you would be Hindu, and in a family that taught you logic and reason you would be an agnostic or atheist. Instead, the fact that you were brought up in the USA in a Christian environment makes you sure to the point of arrogance and condescendance that you are right and everybody else needs rescuing. You don't have to agree if you don't agree. If you'd posted in one of the millions of threads you're complaining about then you would've been part of a debate about the topic and I definitely wouldn't have given a damn how new a member you were. I was new at one point too :S. What I object to is you complaining about what threads are going on here when you've only just joined. It's hardly for you to say, is it?

I don't treat all new members like that at all: I treat in that manner the people that come here and within their first 10 posts are slagging off others/others' threads. So yes, in a way, you're special. Your opinion is worth just as much as everybody else's but I was a dick to you because you were a dick about something you didn't need to be.
