Hi guys :P been away for a while :D It's a HUGE place, the hotel, and has enormous grounds with an 18-hole championship golf course where celebs sometimes play golf. There's a river with trout in the grounds, tennis courts and woods. The house has a wide terrace, and you can have breakfast sitting in the sunshine looking out across the sweeping grounds. Inside, it's all heavy dark oak panelling and stained glass windows. Of course, as it's being refurbished they could have changed all the rooms about, but I remember a large dining room, a lounge bar, seating areas in the hallway and a drawing room with wing chairs and sofas. On the lower ground floor is a games room with a full-size snooker table where I discovered that I can't play snooker!! I bet there's loads of secret entrances where we could sneak in ...... :D

OMG!! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS - but I had my honeymoon in that place!!!! Honestly, no kidding!!! OMG!!!!

Back to topic - I COULD make rude remarks about LITTLE things bringing a smile to my face ............. but I won't ! Instead, I will mention FOOD - like yummy hot thick vegetable stews with dumplings when you come in from the cold night air! (don't eat meat, see, hence the veggie thing :lol: )
