  1. I think I got what she's saying, Kole. She says that if a Suicide Bomber blows himself up against military units, then it's justifiable and "patriotic". Not if he kills civilians. Can't say I agree with dirty tactics... but meh. If he's going to die anyway, he takes some people out with him, and you can't blame him
  2. True. The next poster has a piece of... kinky... clothing...
  3. Uhm, three times. All three were Coldplay. Bwahaha. What would you do for a Klondike bar?
  4. Every once in awhile. A certain friend of mine gets upset when I do. Haha. So... next question... any STDs? Haha.
  5. The whole Kennedy family is f**ked. Royally. I could see it as a sitcom: Living with the Kennedys.
  6. I love CPing.com for this reason right here: Our loving debates.
  7. Wow. Forty-four days in a box in the air!? What the hell!? Did he EAT!? And I didn't know he was already in the sphere. I just thought he was going to try to stay underwater for 9 min. Didn't know 8 days. Wow.
  8. When people are drunk... they're just obnoxious. At least from my experience. When people are HIGH... that's a different story. Punching bags ahoy.
  9. That was from IGN, by the way. Biased biatches.
  10. Introducing... Wii. As in "we." While the code-name Revolution expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that seperates videogame players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their games... and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean? Wii sounds like "we," which emphasizes the console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii. Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people playing it. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of videogames that sets it apart from the crowd. So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything.
  11. 7/10 I Ran Away
  12. A suicide bomber is not a patriot. Perhaps a martyr for dying for what they believe in... and even that's a stretch... but most certainly not a patriot.
  13. 9/10 We Never Change
  14. Oh, wow. I can't pick just one. "Coffee & TV" by Blur is a top contender. As well as "Transatlanticism" by Death Cab for Cutie.
  15. ARMOR FOR SLEEP!! Franz Ferdinand or Modest Mouse?
  16. I don't have blinders on. =) My friend Joe, who hates everything but HXC and Metal, calls Coldplay "Coldgay". And anytime I mention them, he just goes "Oh? What? Did I just hear "Gay"?" Pisses me off.

Coldplay needs to release another album. Now. This entire forum spirals into a dark pit of randomness when we have no Coldplay news to talk about.
  18. These are probably my favorite, most poetic lyrics of all-time. Yes, even more than Coldplay. The song is "Left and Leaving" by The Weakerthans. I've cried to this song countless times. It's my graduation theme to all my friends. And when I think of it in that context (especially the birthday card line... and the wait for the year to drown line). My city's still breathing (but barely it's true) through buildings gone missing like teeth. The sidewalks are watching me think about you, sparkled with broken glass. I'm back with scars to show. Back with the streets I know Will never take me anywhere but here. The stain in the carpet, this drink in my hand, the strangers whose faces I know. We meet here for our dress-rehearsal to say " I wanted it this way" Wait for the year to drown. Spring forward, fall back down. I'm trying not to wonder where you are. All this time lingers, undefined. Someone choose who's left and who's leaving. Memory will rust and erode into lists of all that you gave me: a blanket, some matches, this pain in my chest, the best parts of Lonely, duct-tape and soldered wires, new words for old desires, and every birthday card I threw away. I wait in 4/4 time. Count yellow highway lines that you're relying on to lead you home.
  19. Of course it's double-sided. It's American government. I hope to God that the world isn't headed towards another Arms Race. *flashes back to Kennedy*
