I preordered it specifically for the advance of Viva la Vida and the two extra tracks, so I'd say yeah.

As of the time of this post, the "Viva la Vida" single has shot to the #5 spot on iTunes Top 10 Songs, and the "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" pre-order has shot to #1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. Pretty incredible. This album really is going to completely rock the music world.

LOL OPINIONS. Don't be a prick. Just because you dislike a song or two that the vast majority of all Coldplay fans like doesn't mean your opinion is fact. Get over it.

I've had the double-album hunch for awhile now, ever since they released the album title at least. With the way the news has been released, two albums might not be such a stretch. If the first is called "Viva La Vida", the it would make sense why the website said "Viva La Vida OR Death and All His Friends", because they weren't sure which one would come first :-P

Surprisingly, I like it more the first time than I liked Violet Hill the first time, but I'm hoping that wasn't how it ends, that was a weak ending.

Yeah, he did, after every couple songs. It was absolutely incredible, almost like a pre-celebration to the end of George Bush. Oh, and if you've ever heard of them, Superchunk opened for them. They're a legendary band around the North Carolina area.

Just got back from a free Superchunk/Arcade Fire Obama Rally. Right before Superchunk went on, Win Butler was just standing off to the side talking to fans. Nobody noticed him, really. I walked over there and talked to him, asked him who one of his most influential artists is ("Bob Dylan" was his answer), asked him where he stood on marijuana legalization (he's all for it, by the way), among other things. He also signed my cigarette pack and told me I should stop smoking. Their setlist was as follows: Keep the Car Running (Antichrist Television Blues) Heroes (David Bowie Cover) No Cars Go Haiti Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) Rebellion (Lies) Encore: Wake Up A couple quick highlights... during Rebellion, Win walked out into the crowd with the microphone. I mean literally walked through the crowd, singing duets with people in the microphone and such. They went off stage and came back to play Wake Up, and at the end of Wake Up Win gave his guitar to some guy in the front row. Just gave it the fuck away. So freaking epic.
