'Don't look back in anger' is the name of that song... It's a crime! at the beginning it sounds like Imagine and in the end it sounds like 'All the young dudes' by Bowie, Noel himself said it on an interview... But it's one of Oasis best songs, and for me, one of the best song EVER made.
  2. I think that it comes from the old disks, the black big ones (vynils or whatever). When our old people :D (if my mum sees this, she'll kill me) bought their records, they came with a song, which was the one the disk consisted in, and one as a bonus. But this one, was on the other side of the disk, you had to turn it to listen to it, so I guess one of the sides (the one with the song that entitled the record) was A, and the other with the bonus was B.
  3. By using the by 'any means necessary' strategy, for example.
  4. Yeah, that tour was great!! I saw them here, in Argentina- It was unbelievable. My favourite is Where the streets have no name, it always moves me to tears.
  5. mmmmm I think that 'freedom' is a very strong word. Bush is using it to destroy a country. Saddam might have done it, alright. But Bush IS doing it. And he is not only destroying a country and its people, he is also risking American soldiers, and the whole world too. And I assume we all know, or at least suspect, that the central issue here isn't a country's freedom as he says, it's its petrol. I think things would really be different if Irak's natural resource was tomatoes... The sad thing in this particular war is that I can't find 'GOOD' anywhere. Saddam is bad, but I don't think Bush is very different from him... If he were, I think he would have done things differently, he shouldn't have ignored the International Community, he should have ran out of the diplomatic ways intead of looking forward to war... I am really worried about what this man could do. I respect American people but I must say that I'm afraid of its governments. In my country (Argentina) we have a sad historial of dictatorships, being the last one (1976-1983) a very bloody one... it was comanded by the C.I.A. and instaured in the name of the order, freedom, and many more American Christian values. By this, I only want to say that at least, I keep the benefit of the doubt when I hear the words: 'In the name of freedom and democracy'. Perhaps a lot of very terrible interests are hidden behind them.

That cd is just great!!!!! but I agree with mburn: the best for me is 'definitely maybe'. If you liked morning glory, listen to definitely as well... ...maybe you are the same as me, we see things they'll never see, you and I we are gonna live forever! :)
  7. Dark side of the moon, or one of my definitions of the word 'glory' ...and everything under the sun is in tune, and the sun is eclipsed by the moooooooon!
  8. in my books too :( and they all seem to be written in blood... it's so sad.
  9. In my country in the protests the 'hit tune' goes like this 'Bush, fascista, vos sos el terrorista!'. Which translated is 'Bush, fascist YOU are the terrorist.' It's a bit rude I must say, but...
  10. and your skin oh yeah your skin and bones turn into something beautiful and you know for you I bleed myself dry for you I bleed myself dry :silly: para vos brillan Gorsh...
  11. I feel so sad... so infinitely sad Where did it all go wrong... where did humans became such ugly beings... why are we so fucking divided?! I don't get it. I just don't get it...
  12. uh! I love Coltrane... and well... as for me, I don't know who you might know from where I am... the only one I can think of is Maradona, perhaps you' ve heard of him...
  13. En ese caso somos dos......... :D somos tres! ya se podría decir que somos multitud! ;)
  14. It' so dissapointing to live in a world in which it seems there's nothing people can do to make its will be heard. I hate the fact that we are living under a system that proudly teaches the importance of freedom and democracy, and how we can do everything we want, only to find out that those theorical values are, impudently, thrown away. If we can't even have the right to be heard saying 'NO!' then what kind of a free society are we living in? George Bush is not my idea of freedom, US is not my definition of 'good'. Making a war and try to justify blood in the name of democracy is at least sour, at least pathetic. And I say no to war. And I also say: no, he can't kiss my white ass; it's too lovely to be kissed by that beast.

  17. but that is in general or they just weren't enthusiastic at this particular gig? I saw them live when they came here to Buenos Aires in 1998 and in the 2001. I love them, really. I liked very much how they played with the new formation, even though it was a 1:10 gig or so (it was in a festival, they kinda opened for Neil Young). I remembered seeing Noel very moved when we, I mean the crowd, started singing along his name after Don't look back in anger.... he gave us a warm 'gracias' (thank you), which actually sound like a 'greacia'... and he had a very sweet expression on his face. which considering Noel's eternal 'bad mood' face, is something.... We sudacas have fame for being a very good audience, artists often say so. Anyway, I'm sure they say it everywhere they play, but the Peppers actually proved they mean it last year by coming in a very difficult time for us, so I start to believe we, on the contrary, are very enthusiastic people...

  19. 'quiero simplemente ser de verdad aunque ello me lleve a descubrir que no soy nada' which would be something like this: 'I simply want to be true, even when that leads me to find out I'm nothing.' by Argentinian writer Julio Cortázar.
