  6. ok just watched beautiful and yeah was a totally different creature! at first i thought wow that guy doesn't age! but of course he's new.
  7. Silvio Rodriguez even though as a kid my understanding of the lyrics was limited somehow his voice and the music carried the message across. .....and erh...to some extent The Chipmunks....come on thier covers were groovey!

  21. i don't know if i'm a prog lover not good with labels but eh i like pink floyd, the mars volta, spyro gyra, led zep do they fall into the category and is there any more i should know about?
  22. Julia your lucky! i would love to see them live! btw i was watching DW news and australia came on-- about the floods in New South Wales a state of Australia. Lera oh no ! i have most of their albums and i found 12 memories boring but i still liked some of the songs and didn't really sit down and listen to that album. Is the new album like 12 memories? i think i'll wait to hear more of thier singles on the radio before buying the album.
  23. The BBC world service had a great interview with him, very insightful it might still be up on the podcast on their website. Finished reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, highly enjoyable and great to see the differences between the tv series and the book. Trying to finish War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy ( started it last year lol) and re- reading the Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.
