okay, switching to a more LP7-clue-hunting vibe, what is new on his guitar. Appears to be the same one for Oceans, with a familiar O in the corner, but the other drawings I cannot ID.... Hmmm, to me, I can pick out the O, broken heart / wings and a tombstone / ghost thing...But thats related to GS....

I don't think he worries about what genre its gonna be. He has said he has many influences. I genuinely feel he just makes music that come to him at the time regardless of the source (be it Beethoven or Beyonce)

After the Chris-centric LP6, it would make sense for LP7 to feature more equal input from the other members. But I think we all know Chris 'drives the bus' when it comes to Coldplay, so its hard to say. Don't get me wrong, I would love more Will-smashing, Jonny-soloing and Guy-bassgroving. Just don't know if the higher ups will allow it.

I know this is a funeral and its a bit touchy, but does anyone have their finger on the record button for when Chris supposedly comes out to perform? I can do audio capture through Audacity but not for video capture.

The closest thing we have to a confirmed title, as history suggests, is A Head Full of Dreams. What I mean is every LP from Coldplay has had a song with the same name as the album. Even then, it hasn't been confirmed, nor found on the song registry so it's just our best guess

But how do you measure success? Is it by album sales or how many awards won? Or do you measure it subjectively?

^ I tend to agree. It's gotten to the point where i'll at least listen to whatever they put out and most likely enjoy it. I've definitely got that Coldplay-bias in my head. Although there are certainly things about Coldplay I do not like, or wish they've done differently.

A very underrated album indeed. The work Guy does on What If and Low I especially gravitate to being a bassist.

I would love to see that many songs, as long as the quality doesn't suffer. I just dont think its true.
