This. Srsly, imagine Coldplay came up with the worst title of all time. Would you still listen to it? I know I would. So, who really cares about titles if you're gonna listen to it anyways? "A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet" To expand on that, for the past few pages, its gotten a taddd more negative up in here. I'm all for free speech and all, so I decided to let the other side vent their worries and concerns (legitimate or otherwise...). But I would offer my POV and say that I personally havent been disappointed through 6 albums and I dont anticipate being let down for 7. Is there something that they couldve done better in each album? yes, but you could say that for any album from any artist. I think it boils down to whether youre a glass half empty or full person. I like to concentrate on the highlights as opposed to dwelling on the misses.

While I agree, I would say that Daylight and A Whisper are 2 of the most underrated songs in Coldplay's library. They're a bit more 'out there' in terms of style but, iunno, they aren't as bad as ppl make out to be.

Times like this, I wish the Coldplaying wiki was back. I bit OT but Crests of Waves was another LP2 era song that just missed the cut. Apparently Guy was a big supporter of it.

Its been over 2400 posts and we've been following the same posting schedule: -Some minor LP7 news -fans hoping they return to AROBTTH style songs -fans bashing GS -Fans bashing MX -Fans bashing Rihanna -Fans bashing pop music -A clearheaded posted says, 'relax, there's been nothing official yet' -some obscure Coldplay news that fans think could hint about LP7 aaaaaaand repeat for 2000+ posts. Ive been following this and the previous LP7 threads, and its all the same. You have your fans that will stick with Coldplay no matter what and the fans that say they'll boycott the band if they turn pop. Do I wish they'll turn away from pop and go Alt rock again? fuck yeah. but will I boycott them if they do a collab with Rihanna? hell no. Why? 'Cause i'm not some [expletive] who thinks they know better than everyone else, and will throw a fit if they don't get their way. You can't please everyone, and I get the feeling that Coldplay are out to please themselves before they do these few fans who won't stop whining.

Started the comics to get me through to October, or at least the prequel. Caught up to the part that aligns with the season finale. So, question to comic book readers: shall I continue or risk spoiling stuff. And yes I know the show and comics aren't 100% the same, but I just wanted some perspectives.

I know ppl love to drag on Apple, but I would say that Apple is actually the best marketing company. What other company can convince the general public that their inferior product is better than others? I actually own apple products (as well as android ones), there are some things Apple does well (marketing, ease of use for the common folk) but stuff like their app policy isn't one of their high notes.

^ I don't see them being too experimental on LP7. If it is 'an end of a story' as they have suggested, I don't see them doing anything too crazy as to risk ending on a low note. If anything, I see them doing more the opposite; doing what got them all the way to LP7 in the first place. Which is Alt-soft-piano-micropop rock. That's just my opinion, but despite your and others' hopes and wishes, realistically speaking, I don't see it happening. If it's an experimental vibe you're craving, I would bet on LP8 before LP7.
