Probably nothing more than fan service. When you upload multiple videos on youtube they don't necessarily show up in the order you uploaded them. Depends on file size and upload speed.

a) I haven't heard this argument yet. I would have accepted this as opposed to all the 'Rihanna sux' comments. b) At the same time, despite what perhaps we all previously thought, Coldplay can't just pick and choose who they want to collab with (see David Bowie). Apparently people aren't dying to collab with Coldplay. This isn't a standards issue so you can get off your high horse. It's an issue with some having certain tastes and others not. Rihanna might not be your cup of tea, but to say shes inferior...there's just no way you can prove that, so stop waiving it around like its fact. Again I say, just because you don't like something, doesn't make it universally bad. INCOMING OPINION: I would actually prefer to see a collab with someone like Noel Gallagher as opposed to Rihanna. Do I have my panties in a knot over it? No. Why? Because I know there are other fans out there with different tastes and perhaps they might like a Rihanna/Coldplay collaboration. Not everything the band do is gonna be molded to your every taste.

I agree with the bolded parts. I do not understand nor agree with how anyone can legitimately criticize Coldplay for working with Rihanna. I don't believe I heard one legitimate reason against it. The gist of what I read so far is bitching about how they dont like Rihanna's music or PoC and somehow this justifies everything they say. News flash: you don't speak for everyone. Some people actually like Rihanna, some people actually like PoC, some people actually don't mind pop music. Some people are actually more tolerant. I'm all for criticizing the band. I'm pretty vocal myself on things like their terrible MVs. But I tend to give a bit more reasoning in my opinions than what's being displayed in this thread. And at the end of the day, ppl are FREE to like whatever they want. It isn't your or my or anyone's job to change ppl's opinions.

Let's assume for a second that your opinions and analysis are correct (which they aren't). So if Coldplay don't play the music you like anymore and you're sooo sure of yourself and your future-seeing ways, why are you still here? You're free to do as you wish obviously, but I know I personally wouldn't waste my time in a community that enjoys something that I don't like. Either you're trolling or stupid, and I was genuinely curious as to which one it is.

Oh this should be fun. Some bg before I give my review. ~ month ago, I made the switch from an iphone 4s (ios8) to Nexus 5 running Kitkat. I kept an idevice in the form of an ipad mini 2. Since then, the kitkat turned into a lollipop. Strictly speaking about the OS and not Apple vs Android in general (no hardware, internal specs, etc), I would say the following. What I love about ios8 is the clean and straightforward nature of the system. It's quite dummy proof and low maintenance. Also more apps are readily available for ios versus android. The bottom line with ios is that it just works. I didn't find it to be buggy or anything but perhaps it was because my device was old and didn't really exploit the capabilities of the new os such as fingerprint scanning or the extra screen real estate with iphone6/+. What I didn't like was how things like widgets were advertised but not truly implemented with the new OS, or at least not to the potential that android has shown us. I said earlier that I like the simplicity of ios, but where I would've liked to see some customization is with quick toggles. Another quip is on the bizarre idea to have weather, calculator, stock apps, coverflow, etc, on iphones but not ipads. Seems like an easy OS thing they could do but has never been done. Now to android. I'm still relatively new to it but from what time I did have, I seem to enjoy widgets the most. To this day, im still honing and tweaking my screens with widgets and icons to find the perfect blend for me. Customization is one of the selling points for android users. While its not for me, I could see others enjoying this feature. What I don't like are that the app choices that are now quite limited. Lock screen widgets that I enjoyed are now gone. Music app is horrible. Apps themselves don't work to the consistency of ios. Ads, ads everywhere for android versions of apps, I find, compared to their ios counterparts. Sorry, that was all a jumbled mess of words without a good flow, but I just wanted to jot down ideas more than anything. In the end, I would jump back to iphone if it weren't for the huge price tag.

Well, just about finished listening to the cd now and I gotta say...that was terrible. Perhaps it's because they didn't tour much but the quality of the songs just aren't there. With the stupid audience clapping in multiple songs, Chris flubbing the lyrics to oceans (has he done it correctly at all this era?) and Chris just not hitting his stride in a lot of the songs. I guess instrumentally the others were pretty on point. But past that iunno, I was sitting on the fence about even getting this release but I might have made the wrong decision, with the NBC special being downloadable long ago already.

Thanks for the sympathies lol, but I went ahead with the CD/DVD version. For those curious, I was searching for the DVD/CD because the previous DVDs available I have bought in the DVD/CD option. I just wanted to keep the consistency.

I went to the official Coldplay store (with currency as USD) and couldn't even find the DVD/CD. But when I switched to Euros, the item showed up....

The only diff is the case it comes in. DVD/CD means it comes in a DVD case whereas CD/DVD comes in a CD case. Both versions have both the DVD and CD in it. I don't have a bluray player so I don't know about them, but I believe the Bluray/CD only comes in Bluray. Edit: I believe the DVD/CD costs more too iirc

Question: has anyone actually gotten their hands on a copy of the DVD/CD? I've only seen CD/DVD or Bluray/CD. If so, where did you find it, 'cause i'm still looking around for a copy.

lolwut? So you went through a bunch of stuff you can see them changing (name change, new member, etc) and you end with doing a 180 and say there probably wont be any changes....? Anywho, yeah, don't see any big changes. Coldplay have said themselves that they aren't the best technically; they don't have the fastest guitarist or the loudest drummer or anything, but what sets them apart is their chemistry. I do not see them messing with that formula whatsoever.
