I'll put 50 Monopoly dollars on it being Lovers in Japan. Dont know why Debs is denying it though, maybe she means it's not the album version of LIJ? In which case she'd be correct.

I think The Escapist is the synth intro of LiT with lyrics, though they're not the LiT lyrics, so no 'Baby it's a violent world' I'm guessing. When the album comes out I'm gonna try and mix these two songs together.

Everyone now thinks that Kaiser Chiefs 'Oh My God' is a Lily Allen song. Taking brilliant indie tracks and turning them into sleazy top 10 hits goes against everything I stand for.

Thanks so much Andrew! :D When you were talking about song lengths and most of them being 4 minutes or less, what about the combined songs? Take for example Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant (though not specifically that one), would Yes be around 3 and a half minutes and Chinese Sleep Chant around the same (leading to a total song length of 7 minutes or so) or are they both short songs about 2 or so minutes each bringing the total lengh of the song to around 4 minutes? Same goes for Lovers in Japan/Reign Of Love as well. And do the combined songs blend into eachother in any way? I know you said they're not both part of the one song and they're seperate, but does something like the last chord of one song ring into the beginning of the next or is there a gap of silence in between?

Andrew says it LIJ too. I recon the "indie pop sparkler" thing may have been referring to the part where all the band come in and not nessassarly the piano intro.

I'm pretty sure it's an edited version of Lovers in Japan now (2 vs 1), there's no way it's Death and All His Friends anyway. I think they cut off the Reign Of Love bit and faded it out at the end of Lovers In Japan, and extended it to fit around the episode. If you listen carefully there are some bad edits which the Grey's Anatomy dialouge would've covered up.

Of course there wont be links here, but when it leaks it'll be on torrents and blogs left right and centre. People on the board will talk about which is how we'll know it leaks. Once on group of fans gets it no matter how emi removes the links they'll still find a way to share it, and then other people will share it - it'd be unstoppable.

The song I'm hearing doesn't match the descriptions of Death and All His Friends at all! We'll have to wait for the album I guess.
