Spooks ??
It's been a while, so I thought I'd resurect this thread. Anyone here watching Series 6 and what do you think so far? It's been a great series, nice idea having one huge 10 episode-long storyline, I wasn't sure if I'd like the new format but it works amazingly well.

Live Concert DVD's you own
Embrace - A Glorious Day, Leeds 2005. This band convey so much energy. The looks of total amazement and happiness on their faces throughout the entire gig are contageous. The hugs between Danny and Richard at the end while they sing The Good Will Out will leave you with tears in your eyes when you consider Danny's health problems and the struggles this band has gone through over the years, the lyrics really hit home. If you want to watch a band that love music, love their fans and feel sincerely blessed for what they have in their lives (and of course the music is fantastic!) then buy this DVD - you will not regret it. PS. What's Sigur Ros' new DVD like, Heima? It looks amazing.

Have coldplay ever done drugs?
Poppy Fields is surely something war-related, not a song about frolicking around in a field full of spliffs and such like.

CD Swap
I'm still holding out for a Coldplaying song swap, be it on CD, vinyl or internet upload lol. I'm in the process of making a CD for the Keane forum and I'm loving it, so if anyone wants to do this via internet let's get it on baby.

What Else Do You Hear In the Coldplay Songs
Who shakes the tambourine in I Ran Away? It starts a split second after Chris says "1,2,3, Will" and before Will starts doing his thang...

The Beatles
My favourite Beatles songs are Come Together and In My Life.

Nicole Scherzinger: I need to work with Chris Martin
Tim Rice-Oxley is God, I know Chris is partial to some piano headbanging but Tim is champion headbanger.

The Way I Are is the way forward - Kerri Hilson's a babe.

9th Nov 2007 - Will Champion Interview - The Rhythm Studio
But don't you think it'd be a tiny bit funny if we do get a bit of hip-hoppery on album 4 - The Napies worked a treat if you ask me :P Will would look very cool with a big ol' drum machine gettin' his Timbaland on.

Nicole Scherzinger: I need to work with Chris Martin
What a great couple of assets she has. Tim Rice-Oxley and Gary Lightbody of course.

9th Nov 2007 - Will Champion Interview - The Rhythm Studio
Leave Will, or Willie, whichever you prefer, alone. Just because he listens to hip-hop doesn't make him a bad person, or that Coldplay are going to start talking about hoes and such like.

Embrace - big request
I was wondering if any people here that are fans of Embrace and can play piano if they could let me know the chords for Out Of Nothing (the abum) or even better the sheet music if you are able to write it out. There is only a guitar book for this album and I'd really like to play it on piano. Thanks.

Police to get tougher on drivers that speed
A 20MPH speed limit has been brought in on the road by where I live as there's a primary school there and only a handful of people actually take any notice of it. A child was killed not too long ago as a result of speeding on the road I live, and I've seen on plenty of occasions kids and elderly people trying to cross the road and cars having to have slam their brakes on because they've been going at 40MPH, seriously, speeding really annoys me and I just wish people would simply obey the rules, not much to ask when people's lives on the line if you ask me.

Police to get tougher on drivers that speed
Remove all speeders from the roads, they do my head in.

The X Factor Thread
Anyone seen the 'knife' incident on YouTube where she threatens someone? That's obviously staged, the victim is laughing their head off! Although the happy slapping video does look terrible. Silly silly girl.

The Verve
Woah that was one of the best gigs ever. Don't believe the crap reviews saying rubbish like 'Richard and Nick hardly looked at each and were very awkward' and 'they were going through the motions', it was one of the most intense, mind blowing gigs I've ever been to. Richard on numerous occasions pointed at Nick and bigged him up and clapped him, kind of like how Chris does to Jonny! Si was off his head, smiling for the whole night, getting the crowd going, arms in the air, clenched fists, shouting, Nick was smiling a lot too, as if in disbelief that The Verve were actually on a stage again, Richard was loving it. He didn't say much in between songs, he let the music do the talking, which was out of this world. Pete was amazing on drums, just totally incredible. It was my first time seeing The Verve as I was too young to appreciate music back in the day, but I've seen Richard Ashcroft a few times as a 'solo artist' and he got me into The Verve obviously and, woah, I'm rambling, it was excellent basically. I'm going to the Manchester gig next month too so anyone that is a bit unsure whether or not to go incase they think it's just another Spice Girls-esque reunion then I urge you to definitely go and see this band live, they are mindblowingly good - something for everyone: physchadelic what the hell is going on kinda stuff, sing ya heart out anthems, the odd slow one which makes all the huge 6ft fellas burst out crying and proper rocking out tunes. Let the damage begin.

Disappointing
I know what you mean and I feel the same. But I've decided I'm going to love it no matter what basically because it's COLDPLAY and we all know they're one of the best bands ever cos we're all Coldplay fans and all that stuff, so whoop whoop, bring on album 4.
