  1. This Thanksgiving and holiday season, be thankful for everything you have, and for the love and support of those around you...but also take time to remember those who are less fortunate. If you are able, please make a small donation to Zali's sponsorship fund. "It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving." - Mother Teresa
  2. Oh my so many birthdays! Happy birthday to you, Gareth!
  3. Happy Birthday Julia! Enjoy your day! :jester: :daisy:
  4. Thanks for the tips, Ian! :D (psst, do you like The Fray? You could join and be my first registered member) I don't know much about the differences, but vbulletin I have to pay for though, I believe? :\ If I can't get anyone to join, then I'm not going to want to pay for my own host either (which I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to manage anyway!). Anyone want to join to come chat with me over there? :P After a few days, my board is already starting to gather dust. Quelle tristesse!
  5. Did someone say birthday?? Happy Birthday TLo! Our resident Sufjan lover. :D Hope it's a great one. ;)
  6. Oh goodness, I can't believe I've gone and done this...but I started an online forum for The Fray fans. :embarassed: The official board associated with thefray.net basically is a piece of crap. Since I just went to a gig, I headed over there to find multimedia, photos, etc., but I just couldn't stand it (I think cping.com has spoiled me!). Anyway, I started a new board up: http://www.bestfreeforums.com/forums/intothefray.html The forum format is kinda based off cping...just because, this works so well. Ian, hope you don't mind! :) I don't expect tons of people to join....but I made it for a bit of fun. We'll see what happens, eh? :nice:
  7. Ohh saw The Fray last night in concert, and they really put on an excellent show!! They seem like really nice, personable kinda guys too. :P That always makes me enjoy a good concert that much more. :nice: There was plenty of audience interaction, and some really powerful singalong moments (especially at the very end when the audience finished up HTSAL without any instrumentals). I loved, loooved Heaven Forbid live. In fact, I think they pretty blew their own CD out of the water with their live performance. They sound a lot more rocky/edgy in person. Besides playing a good chunk of their CD, they played some new material, and a nice little rendition of The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby too. A great night! I'll post pics and videos later.
  8. Heads up that this "donation month" ends today. If you were planning on putting in a little donation for CCC's sponsored child, Zali, please do so by the end of today (12:00 am PST). Next donation month will run from Nov. 14th - Dec. 11th. Thanks!
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEodTpENMgs Photo everyday spoof. :) This is another one like the Noah video. Done even better I think: http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/me
  10. No way Jo! I've copyrighted it. It's mine, my own, my precccioussss... :P Of course you can save it. I didn't make it actually....but to whom ever did make it, a bazillion thanks. :)
  11. Ooo oo ooo, I found it! :D This the one, Allie?
  12. But Ray!, your photos are always so entertaining! Keep on at it :)
  13. Feisty little fellow! Nice to put a face to your name too, Wendy :nice:
  14. Ooo, I just love coming on here to see everyones creativity and talent! Steph - what a beautiful assemblage! :nice: I especially love the one of the Christmas lights too. Really captures the festivity of the season. Humm, I have a sudden urge for some apple cider....
  15. haha thanks guys! I think it came together nicely....considering I srsly threw it together in 5 minutes. It's actually an outfit that I bought in India some years back. And gee, I look like such a 12 yr old with my braids. I swear I'm in my 20s though.
  16. Oh good ol college apps!! :D I've started the grad school app process, so I totally empathize. :stressed: I don't know much about those unis you're applying to, but good luck miss!! And what they hey, here a few snaps of me, because I never post in here: ^ an old drunksie one ^ i went as Princess Leia this halloween :P
  17. Ohh, I like both Dannie (and you look great in both too!), but I'd go with photo #1. The second one really looks like it could be anywhere, but the first one has more of an Irish flavor to it. :) What colleges are you applying to?

  20. For anyone who is interested, this week the iTunes music store is offering a free download of Dealbreaker, a short film written and directed by Gwyneth and Mary Wigmore. http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewMovie?id%3d202139274%26s%3d143441 (if that link to the download page doesn't work (as I suspect it wont), just got to the main iTunes store page....you should see it on there)
  21. Alo.....I checked your post history, and all you've been doing since you joined this board is going around to random threads and copying and pasting (literally) the same thing over and over. And do you believe everything you read? Grow a brain, and go post your nonsense somewhere else. Btw, if you are so upset about Chris' "hypocritical" ways, I suggest you turn the lens on yourself, and redirect the time you are wasting here to do your own share in helping the planet. Since you are 'obviously' a socially minded individual....
  22. I absolutely love both far, far too much to really pick one over the other. I'm a huge Tolkien nutcase, and have probably read LOTR one too many times. In my opinion, the films were very well done, and beautifully captured the magic of Tolkien's Middle Earth. For SW though, I will say that I am strictly only a fan of Episodes 4, 5, 6 (aka the original 3). That new stuff is garbage. I'm kinda surprised that the poll isn't more closely tied. I guess there is not a strong correlation between Coldplay fans and SW fans. :P
  23. Senior quotes in yearbooks?? Wait, I'm from the US, but we never had senior quotes!! Is it a quote that goes under your picture or something? Gee, have times changed this much since I left HS? :P 'Don't Panic,' is nice and simple, but could be taken as a reference to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. :nice:
  24. How about an elf? :P They're quite lovely. Rick, I'm afraid to ask, what's a dingo?
