The Offical Euro 2008 Qualifiers Thread
Definitely! I watched the whole game and Germany was so much better than the Czech Republic. Especially Janßen and Kuranyi were amazing! We could have won 5:1, but Podolski didn't score at least one goal.. That was a big step forward to the Euro 2008, because I think Germany's group D is the most powerful one of all groups.

German Fans?
Wolkenloser Himmel, 15 Grad... was will man mehr?! Grüße ausm sonnigen Bremen, wo ich heute abend wieder auf die Pirsch gehen werde. :nice:

The official "UEFA Champions League 2006-2007" thread
Lol, the UEFA is making itself look foolish! Oliver Kahn isn't allowed to play against Milan due to the "wee-wee affair" after the game against Real Madrid, although he apologised in writing for it. It's so absurd! Who the fuck voted for Michel Platini? Next dictator, that's for sure...

Is anybody just watching Donezk - Sevilla?! What a crazy game. Donezk's first goal was definitely goal of the year. Absolutely incredible! Sevilla's goalkeeper just scored the 2:2 in minute 94, so now it's over-time.

English-ness
What is the first thing you think when you think of ENGLISH people? Well, when I think fo England I first get all these typical prejudices in my mind. English humor, bad breakfast, amazing music, rainy weather, tea-time, cute accent etc. Honestly I don't know what to write more about Englisch people at the moment. Would you like to be ENGLISH/move to ENGLAND? I'm proud to be German, but to be English would be great, too. If I would ever get a chance to move to England I would do it. Maybe not for the rest of my life, but at least for a year. What do you think is good about ENGLISH people? Very very friendly (I noticed that in London), good humor and especially people from London were so brave after the attacks on 7/7. That was very impressive. What do you think is bad about ENGLISH people /the country in general? I'm totally annoyed about this "kraut-bashing" stuff. It's really getting on my nerves. What do you think is the best thing to come out of ENGLAND? The music! What would we all do without music coming from England? Also football and beer What is the funniest thing about ENGLAND? I like all this stuff like Mr. Bean, Extras, the office etc. Have you ever visited ENGLAND? If so, what region/city? Yes, London (three times) and Cambridge Do you like the English accent? Of course, I really like it although it's harder for me to understand compared to an American accent. When you hear world news regarding England, what are the issues usually about? The war in Iraq, Tony Blair What clothes/fashion do you most associate with ENGLAND? Three lions on the shirt! :D Well, I noticed that clothes and fashion are very similar compared to my country. What would you say is the most stereotypical thing English people/England has? The monarchy, tea-time, bad weather What do you think makes a typical English person? A typical English person is friendly, civilised and cooperative. What do you think is your country's opinion of England? Well, I think my country's opinion to England is good. Both nations have so many things in common, like the pashion to football or the bad weather. British and American influences are very strong here. Unfortunately due to our horrible past not everything is fine. People in England still seem to have the opinion that we all are still nazis etc. Yellow press like "The Sun" are especially responsible for this wrong picture. Hope World Cup helped us a bit to get a better reputation all over the world though.

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
I read it here... http://www.killers-music.com/index.php?site=thread&thread_id=158 Unfortunately the official TV Total site mentions Blue Man Group for today instead of The Killers so it might be true. Well, today I listened to the radio and after playing a song by The Killers they said "For Reasons Unknown" will become the next single of "Sam's Town". Good choice I think...

Thanks for your great review Grace! In Berlin everyone was singing this line as well, that was great! :nice: Since the concert I'm more into "Why Do I Keep Counting" than before. Love it! I'm desperately searching for their Joy Division's cover "Shadowplay". :( Can't wait to watch TV Total tomorrow with the Killers...

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
This weekend I went to my favourite city Berlin to see the Killers and what more can I tell you?! It was absolutely incredible! OMG, what a gig! My friends and I arrived at 8.30pm and first we listened to the music of their support band called “Mumm-Ra”. It’s a British band and I really liked a few of their songs. They said they never played in front of so many people before. Guess you will hear something of them sooner or later… Then only 20 minutes later you suddenly saw an intro to “Sam’s Town” and the Killers began with the same song! “I seeeeeeeeeee London, I seeeeeeee Sam’s Town”. LFMAO! Next songs were an “Enterlude” and “When You Where Young”. The first song of “Hot Fuss” was “Somebody Told Me”. They nearly played every song of “Sam’s Town” except “This River Is Wild” and “Where The White Boys Dance”. Can’t remember exactly all songs, but from “Hot Fuss” they played everything except “Andy, You’re A Star”, “Change Your Mind”, “Midnight Show” and “Everything Will be Alright”. During the encore they also performed a cover version of a song I didn’t know before, but it sounded amazing. More and more songs have been followed afterwards and it seemed that they didn’t want to stop the concert. It was astonishing! Climax was… sure “Mr. Brideside” and also “Read My Mind” which they played twice. In the end they did the “Exitlude” and really everyone sang together with them. After the concert I was all in a sweat and out of order for the rest of the very looooong night! “Heeeeelp Me Get Down, I Can Make It, Heeeeelp Me Get Down, Heeeeelp Me Get Dooooown”! :P By the way there have been a lot of British fans in Berlin. Some crazy English women had a funny self-made Sam’s Town sign to show other supporters the wrong way to the Arena in Treptow (East Berlin). :D Fortunately I knew the right way. If anyone of you ever has a change to see the Killers live… do it!!! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they weren’t very communicative during the whole concert. I don’t like that… not very important though.

Watched Bayern Munich - Real Madrid yesterday and it was a very exciting game! The fastest goal ever in CL history just after 10 seconds! I almost felt off my stool in surprise! :D Incredible atmosphere in the Allianz-Arena as you can see above. TV-broadcast was great; I really liked the spider-cam lol. The penalty and both red cards were ridiculous! What a shame that absolutely no tv-channel is going to broadcast Vigo-Werder today due to the fact that Vigo wanted to get too much money for it.

Not a surprise for me that you'll always find these terrible scenes in Valencia although Milan's Cruz was responsible for the row after his foul against Ayala I think! It was the same when Werder had to play there two years ago!
