  1. If I understand correctly MTV Brazil is gonna show a special about Coldplay in Brazil with an interview to Will and Guy on March 11 http://mtv.uol.com.br/noticias/especial-coldplay-no-brasil-mtv-exibe-entrevista-trecho-de-show-e-mais Anyone able to record it? :D
  2. Well it seems very fitting for them to record the gigs in Mexico seeing how much of inspiration was for Viva la Vida...I think we just have to wait (hopefully not too long) and see what they're gonna do with all the things they recorded during this tour :D
  3. Yes but that was Chris alone and for a radio show, I don't count it :P Other than that we got a tiny little insignificant bit of Shiver in Milan in 2008..damn Guy, if it were for the others I'm sure they would have played it, he could have changed his mind that day  Anyway..found these pics of the guys arriving in Rio
  4. Cris, you can downalod it from the this thread in multimedia, the section where all media file should be posted by the way
  5. Nope, sandbag sent an e-mail saying they were going to send them from March 8 :) If you ordered the vinyl only you should already have recevied it tough
  6. Ok I meant to answer this question the other day and then I forgot :P Last time they played it in a country other than Brazil was at London's Earls Court in December 2005, it has only been played in three cities on the Twisted Logic Tour: Milan, London and Sao Paulo (x3, so 6 times in total), then you need to go back to the AROBTTH tour. Let's hope they won't stop playing it after the LA tour is over

  11. Aww you all look great and happy :nice: Cris did you manage to take LRLRL? I'm still sad the one I sent to you got lost who-knows-where between here and Brazil :disappointed:
  12. Awesome, thank you :D I'm ripping and cutting the audio from the video, will post in MM as soon as I can :nice:
  13. There are no official lyrics, we're all waiting to see if they're gonna put 'em in the cd booklet. If you head over to the apparatchick forum, tough, we are trying to decipher them (well not me because I can't understand a word :P)
  14. Everyone staying up waiting for updates have a great time, I would love to but my bed is calling me :P
  15. February 26, 2010 - submitted by Juan, Argentina Q. Dear Oracle, I wanted to ask if in the Buenos Aires concert you are giving a free cd of LeftRightLeftRightLeft? For people that go to the concert, obviously. The Oracle replies: Yes we are... so to all those attending the show, do remember to collect your LRLRL cd on the way out of the stadium! ------------------ February 26, 2010 - submitted by Kari, Argentina Q. Hi there, As you know today is the big day for Argentine fans! I know that there are three opening bands. And according to the tickets the gig begins at 7pm. But, do you know what time is Coldplay going to hit the stage? Have fun here in BA! Glad to have you back. The Oracle replies: Show day is finally here! It's very exciting to have seen so much of this beautiful city and tonight to be experiencing the first Latin American date with its beautiful fans - and of course all those who have travelled in from all over! Here's the information you need: Doors: 17.00 Rosal: 18.00 - 18.30 Bande de Turistas: 18.45 - 19.15 Bat For Lashes: 19.50 - 20.30 Coldplay: 21.00 - 23.00
  16. February 24, 2010 - submitted by Brenda, Argentina Q. Hello guys, looking forward to see you in Buenos Aires. Here's the question: are you going to be signing autographs at the hotel fence/ door?. We've been waiting for 5 years for you to come back here, it would be nice to see you off the stage. I'll be there outside the hotel. Please make my dream come true. Cheers. Bren. The Oracle replies: Hi Bren. There have been quite a few people waiting outside but the hotel security have been trying to keep the area clear since Guy was being spied on around the pool this morning. It was very strange to hear people screaming whenever he moved and shouting his name... I am so glad I can leave and arrive without anyone noticing! It's been amazing to see such dedication from the fans even from yesterday. There isn't going to be a signing session at the hotel I'm afraid. I mean..they were really spying on him at the pool? Hello privacy, that's gotta be the worst way to make them coming out of the hotel to meet fans :dozey:
  17. No one said they won't start writing on their own from tomorrow, break doesn't mean "I'm sitting on my sofa all day long just watching tv and drinking beer" or, in the case of Brandon "changing my son's diapers". Moreover it's not that a song comes on command, and I'm more than sure that Brandon, who is the main lyricist, never stops writing, just like Chris does. Am I the only one who is not worried at all? Jeez, they're the only band where "hiatus" seems to mean break up for sure :dozey: oh and btw Brandon's mom death is the not the reason why they're taking a break, it was only the reason why they had to cancel most of the last shows of the tour
  18. Magne mentioned it in one of his myspace blogs (and, hey - if someone has found mr berryman’s iphone somewhere, this means you already have the apparatjik album, along wih a truckload of telephone-numbers you most definitely should not have in your possession!) Everytime I read this part I can't stop laughing
  19. I smile when I read such things, I'm used to wait waaaaay more than 4 hours to get to the barrier for them, we are a bit more fanatic here I guess  Anyway, apparently it went good, I read some reviews, they didn't play A Dustland Fairytale in Melbourne, which it was totally expected since his voice broke when he was singining it at Gold Coast, must have been really difficult to him :\
  20. After reading it Harry made a big smile and thanked me, Charles said "it would have been better to have more white girls and less lies aloud" which doesn't mean anything at all, in fact he was not that sure of what he had just said, Jack was signing stuff so I'm not sure he read it, but only signed it  And I read they are postpoing again the gigs in Zurich and Munich because of Harry illness, they were only able to play four or five songs yeasterday in Vienna. I had this feeling he couldn't be able to do the last shows as he had already lost his voice in Rome, poor him :\
  21. So apparently I was wrong and the venue only held around 1000 people, but it was really packed up and due to me be very short I had to find a spot on a pedestal to the right of the stage to see better. So it was my first time seeing them not as supporters, and my fifth in general. The gig was awesome considering that, as Harry made clear only a few songs in, he had a sore throat again (this is one of the shows they had to reschedule from back in November) and asked us to help him out and sing every song as much as we could...and of course we did, he even said we were better than the people back in the UK :wacky: Anyway, due to his voice problems the set was a lil bit shorter than usual, they played three songs less than the previous night in Milan, this is the setlist: Farewell to the fairground Taxidermy E.S.T. The price of love To lose my life A place to hide Fifty on our foreheads Unfinished business (my favourite  ) ---- From the stars Death Here's some pics I took, I tought they turned out worse. For some videos from the gigs I suggest you check this user's youtube account, he made a lot of videos and the audio is great :D Then we waited for them after the gig, there were a lot of people waiting and they took the time to sign everything and took pics both with single persons and groups pics like this one  I saw a video from Milan where Harry says the hope to come back soon, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a slot in some festival, and especially one organised here in Venice for beginning of July :nice: Oh, my cd and banner signed...if you were in Wembley for Coldplay you know what the banner means :P
