Supposedly broadcasts start here at 8 am (although the concert here doesn't start until noon), so I'm guessing that you could start watching at 5 am if you wanted to.

I'm going for Stevie Wonder. And Stevie Wonder only. My dream for the day is to urinate on Toby Keith, but I'd have to be pretty lucky for that to happen.

I'm probably going to the Philly show because I live within walking distance, otherwise there's not really much to be excited about on this side of the pond. Although I do LOOOVE me some Stevie Wonder.

They're playing here for Live 8 on Saturday... so I might be able to see them from a thousand yards away over the heads of a million people. :P

Yeah, so I was hanging out at a friend's place in North Philly, and she drove me back to my place (because I was feeling too lazy for public transit) and we went by the place where Live 8 is being held and there's already several hundred people out in front of the art museum for the show. The road that goes in front of it isn't closed off yet so we actually drove within about 30 feet of the stage, which is probably as close as we're going to get. :rolleyes: Anyway... people are nuts because it's still two days away (ok... one and a half). And who's worth wasting three days to see up close in our lineup?

I better try to control myself before I say things that will make people angry, so I'm just going to say that it's an absolute outrage that people are trying to replace Darwinism in schools with "Intelligent Design" (a.k.a. Creationism-lite).

Few people deserve to be mocked like Dr. Laura does. But that satire of Christian Fundamentalism could be used to mock lots and lots of prominant figures today, unfortunately. Sometimes it seems like common sense in this country seems to be at an all time low. :rolleyes:

Here's my idea: show up at the venue the night of the show and wait until about 10 minutes before Coldplay go on, because at that point the scalpers just want to get back SOMETHING, ANYTHING for what they're still holding on to and you can get seats for cheap. (It's how I get tickets to see my beloved Philadelphia Eagles every year :rolleyes: ) Not a good idea for more than one person though... or people who don't live close to the venue.

I applaud your efforts in excercising your right to free speech (to the extent it exists on a message board), and hope that the unseen Coldplaying archives offer such enjoyment to future browsers as well. :D :D
