  1. Lack of evidence?!?!?! LACK OF EVIDENCE??????!!!!!!! *calms down* Do elaborate on that some.
  2. I generally make a habit not to sign online petitions because they're so easily filled with fake names and what not that it's impossible to tell how many people have actually signed it (thus rendering them meaningless), but I made an exception for this one. :P
  3. The Dave Matthews Band weren't that great, in my opinion. That's when I started to get agitated, bored, and claustrophobic. Luckily a big group of people left after they finished. As far as the Pink Floyd thing is concerned, I'm less inclined to make a big deal out it as everybody else is at this point... put Syd Barrett on that stage with them and THEN I'll be REALLY impressed. :P
  4. okaaaaaaaaaay... anybody else care to say that Rob Thomas sucks as if it's something we don't all already know? I will say that it's a testament to Stevie Wonder's amazing abilities as a performer and songwriter that Rob Thomas managed to join him onstage and not ruin the song. :P
  5. THAT'S his name! I couldn't remember.
  6. Will Smith gave me chills! There's something I NEVER thought I'd say... but there I was standing among 1,000,000 people and joined by countless more around the world, snapping our fingers to symbolize somebody starving to death every three seconds... it was very overwhelming.
  7. Stevie Wonder hasn't lost a step in 30 years either. He was electrifying.
  8. I was in attendance for most of the Philly acts, and saw highlights of the rest on TV when I got home... so... I don't know what percentage that would come out to.
  9. Yeah I'm seconding Geddy Lee. Aannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd... the dude from Iron Maiden.
  10. Sometimes I say to myself, "I shouldn't click on this, it's just going to be a waste of time," and then I click on it anyway. And I always feel vindicated knowing that my initial judgement was correct. But I've still wasted that little bit of time. It sucks.
  11. That's all right, it's not really all it's cracked up to be.
  12. Elton John's playing a free show here on the 4th. Using the same stage being used for Live 8. PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM BITCHES!
  13. HOORAY FOR FRIVOLOUS NOVELTY COVERS!
  14. You'll get no disagreement from me. :P He also seems like kind of a dick. In between his songs while he was just standing around while the crew fooled with lights and stuff, he was talking about how he was disappointed that the crowd wasn't bigger. I wish I'd yelled back "the show is tomorrow, dumbass." But you know, there's that whole "respect for others" thing that holds me back sometimes.
  15. Whoa... Roxy Music is playing in Berlin? I wonder if they can get Eno to come back for the momentous occasion. :wink3:
  16. Yeah, too bad I couldn't have caught Stevie Wonder or Kanye West making a little bit of history instead.
  17. I decided to ride my bike by the art museum and check things out and there he was. I wanted to yell out "SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!!!!" but I'm not a big enough jerk.
  18. $$$$$$$ is why.
  19. Neil Young is playing! Neil Young! http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2005-06-30-neil-young-live-8_x.htm?POE=LIFISVA
  20. Yeah seriously... Paul Rodgers? The dude from Bad Company? That's an insult. And they didn't even get all of the living members of Queen for that tour. Where's John Deacon?
