  1. You should come over here. Because I've got nothing going now too. It's not like it's THAT far away...

Look what we've done. This thread used to be about bootleg sales.
  3. First of all... it's currently November 13. If you joined November 12, you can probably be pretty safely considered a "newbie," if you really give a rat's ass about stupid things like that. Second... I agree with Laura.
  4. Sorry to make a pointless post, but when you said "George S." and then said his name was hard to spell, I immediately thought of George Stephanopolous, Bill Clinton-advisor-turned-ABC Commentator. I'll see myself out. :)

It's not just as good. But I think it's more exciting. :D

haha what a surprise that he of all people would be the one to tell you that.
  7. actually I was watching tv and noticed it behind the tv. I live in an old house (if I had to guess, I'd go with about 80 years) that has wood floors and brick walls... so I guess it's not a big deal that I could probably shove a piece of paper into my basement from my living room. see? see how boring I am? :dozey:

 Well... I would think you'd have to be to actually wear those.

not love! not yet! too sooooooon! but I've got my fingers crossed. I do really like her.
  10. well, first i got out of bed, then i had a piece of toast... then i looked at the wall in my living room and noticed that there's a slight gap where the wall and the floor meet. then i walked over to the thermostat and turned it up two degrees.... get the picture yet? my day will only make you more bored.

yeah really... that's even worse than wearing a pair of shorts that say "SPICY!" on the ass or something.

oh no! now I'll have that horrible nasal "tell me more!" thing going through my head all night! It's just a girl who goes to my school. She's a freshman, so I sort of feel like I'm robbing the cradle a little bit, but she's only two years younger than me. It just seems like more because all of my friends are two years older than me.
  13. This really is a great thread. It took me so long to appreciate my mom, but I'm glad that I do now. :cheesy:

My plans got semi-messed (hence me at my computer at 10:00 on Saturday night but still semi-buzzed), but I'm ok with that. Because I got to see my new lady interest. And I've had a few rum'n'cokes. :wink3: Seriously though... look at this and try to imagine it being said in a tone of voice other than yelling: "error 404: Datei nicht gefunden!"

I've always wanted a shirt that says "SHIRT" in big black letters on the front. I got the idea from a picture on one of those "no shirt no shoes no service" signs somewhere.

    LAURAAAAAAAAAAA what's up? :charming:
  17. I could probably make a pretty long list... but off the top of my head, bands I used to listen to (a lot) and no longer do: - Pearl Jam - Nirvana - Stone Temple Pilots - Soundgarden (come to think of it, the whole "grunge" movement  ) - Blues Traveler - Metallica - Genesis - At the Drive-In - Foo Fighters - Beck - Travis
  18. wow, this thread brings back memories. I think every person my age that I know owned that record at one point in our lives. And I would highly doubt if a single person my age still listens to it regularly. :P I sold mine years ago. There are undoubtedly some decent pop tunes on it, though.

the only site that seems to be working is the "futurepopshop" thing. but that's ok, since i never really expect a geocities website to work when i click on it anyway. :P the last one is yelling at me in german. :stunned: (then again, all written german looks like it should be yelled to me. )
  20. ummm.... yeah, as about a million posts on that site below the video say, that's actually a clip from Reno 911 (a fictional TV show), not a real DUI. :P
  21. Well, if that's the case, you need to tell him to see the therapist. You need to look out for you own mental health too. I know I sound like Dear Abby, and I generally don't like giving people advice, but this sounds like a serious situation that obviously needs to change.
  22. i don't know how either of you woud feel about this, but has he thought about therapy or counseling at all? most universities have it free for students. i went through something similar awhile ago when i realized that i had things i really needed to talk about that were way too deep to lay on the shoulders of my friends. it would probably be better for both of you if he at least considered that, i guess... and of course, it depends on the situation.
  23. well... just keep in mind that he probably feels terrible about doing that to you. i've been on both sides of situations like that, and neither is easy. i guess what i've learned is that it's best to just be open and honest about it, even though he might not like it at first. but if you don't say anything about it you're just going to start harboring resentment toward him for it and it's all downhill from there. :/ (Prof. Peed thinks he has the answers again  )
  24. i feel that way sometimes. my major is music industry, which is a really cutthroat industry no matter what you're doing. i don't worry about it though because i still have another year and a half until i have a degree. than i can go to law school and stall for another few years.
  25. Somebody's been hitting the Constellation Records catalogue hard lately. :wink3:
