Yeah, this board really is the best. Considering how many people there are and how most other message boards out there are, it's almost remarkable how many great people are here and how few stupid people are here. :D

If you're doing -5+-5 that would be like multiplying by 2, not -2. If multiplication is a fast way of adding, then look at multiplying by a negative as a fast way of subtracting. So -5x-2 is like -5--5. Get it? :)

I used to know all about the stages. When I took my last health class in 10th grade I tried to immediately forget everything I knew. :P

I agree that nobody really NEEDS a cell phone. And that 90% of people who have cell phones have no idea how to use them respectfully (ie., turn the damn things off when you're in a library or class or movie, don't talk in a room where people are watching tv, don't interrupt a conversation you're having to answer it unless you know it's really important, and on and on and on) And that every cellular service provider in the world will treat you like crap as soon as you sign a contract. But right now I don't even have a land line in my house, so I find my cell phone quite useful. :P
