12-Sep-2009: Manchester, LCCC, UK - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
I'm 150% sure we will see it. Tonsu wrote upon the board: 'a gig without confetti is no concert at all'. :flutterby:

Any idea how much closer to the date? I need to make plans for that night and without at least a rough idea of time I'm not going to be able to plan around it... Also, anyone planning to go out after the gig? If so I'll need to book a hotel for the Saturday night - my friend won't appreciate me turning up at his at silly o'clock expecting a bed for the night :P

Have any firm plans been made for the meal, or for meeting on the day? I hear my ticket is with the good folks who sold it to me, woohoo!

What's the best British TV package for live Premier League?
Thanks so much guys for the advice. Ah, it's all so complicated...budget isn't that important really, but I already watch any game I want to online for free, so I don't need full coverage. It'd just be nice to have the England games (Sky?) and some of the big Premier League games once or twice a week on the big screen...

Sarah Palin and Anti-Obama Peopls vs. the NHS
No I didn't. I said it would be better for the government to run the banks. At the moment they are just paying for largely the pre-existing management (who caused all the trouble in the first place) to run them. Expect very much more trouble from this state of affairs soon.

Sarah Palin and Anti-Obama Peopls vs. the NHS
In case you didn't hear, the government of our country are now PAYING for the banks to be run - by the very same people that messed them up in the first place, and threatened the global money economy. No, I'd prefer to be seen within ten minutes and pay twenty five quid, as I did when I lived in Japan, which has a private healthcare system (my insurance, by the way, paid it all back to me).

No, but you'd wait for up to ten hours to have it fixed up for you. Banks.

What's the best British TV package for live Premier League?
Anyone got any tips? I've been looking at different deals, but it's so complicated because I can also opt for a bundled phone, mobile phone and internet package...wish it was a simpler choice :(

Nothing: no nearby shops and whatnot, nowhere to go if it rains, not great transport...

Coldplaying and Coldplayzone users meeting for Wembley gigs!
If there are potentially 50+ people you can look for a place that will let you have an area for a 'party' with control of the music (cd player, ipod into sound system, whatever is possible) for a night of Coldplay  I'm sure if there is no other event on The Dublin Castle is a possibility, but if not hundreds of places in London would be glad to welcome such a crowd!

Coldplaying and Coldplayzone users meeting for Wembley gigs!
I'd love to see you guys wherever you are :) The pub sounds good - I guess you mean either The Dublin Castle (first gig as Coldplay) or the one round the corner from the flat where the band first formed? This one is a little hard to get to. The Dublin Castle has gigs on so might be a but noisy if a band are playing! The football I would love to join in, but the day after the concert?? I might be a little hungover I'm afraid :D

The Coldplay "BLOODLESS REVOLUTION" leaked demo amazing song(Listen or download)
The video's been 'removed due to a copyright claim by EMI Music'? I would contact Youtube, explain that EMI Music has no possible copyright claim to a song it's never published or copyrighted, and DEMAND (in my loudest tones :)) my account reinstated.

Sounds pretty risky to me unless you buy them far enough in advance that they have guaranteed time to reach you before you leave AND THE SELLER ALREADY HAS THEM IN HAND. Either that or get them sent to a friend who lives in the UK. And, there is no such thing as a 'pit' in Britain - you want to buy GA (general admission tickets).

Modern Warfare 2
No, it's because the code for multiplayer is basically the same as MW so the exploits were already known. Wait you will have to my friend...probably until the PS5's released :laugh3:

Modern Warfare 2
I don't know anything about Xbox 360 really, but a quick search looks like it was hacked too. I wouldn't be surprised, the coding is of course pretty similar: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=939212&topic=50821606

Modern Warfare 2
It was only for a few days last week until it was patched. Up to half the players on any game were flying around, it was hilarious. Then there were the invulnerability/infinite ammo/perk stacking hacks early last year which were more subtle. It took IW quite a while to bother patching that, but then they didn't have their next blockbuster ready for release then  Let's hope this one's better programmed. The last one, while amazing in so many respects, was a shoddy piece of programming by expert accounts.

Modern Warfare 2
Yep bound to be good, let's hope it's not as hackable as MW. Though it was funny to see all those guys flying round the maps last week.

Modern Warfare 2
No I'm not Josh, I have a PS3 :)

Modern Warfare 2
I'll probably pick this up, if I'm not too busy still playing Wipeout Fury :)

Best City to go to a Coldplay Concert in?
If you want to see them play Cemetries of London then...don't see them play in London :\:laugh3:

Yes, I think it probably best to call them beans. Better safe than sorry! I can't even remember who I booked through, better double-check that myself!!
