A thread for some random vids or just plain music from me, I hope there is sunshine in there, though, for those who look :)

I really should be booking hotels and train tickets this weekend, no doubt there are some great tips if I look back over the thread. I guess most folk will be wanting to be as near to the front as possible, but I like to be a bit further back with room to dance and easy access to drinks and toilets. Anyone else got similar ideas?

I'm a bit further out than that, but not that much. By the time of the gig I'll be living elsewhere though, in the process of moving right now. Anyway, look forward to meeting you! :)

Some parts are lovely, aren't they? Whereabouts roughly are you from Jizo? And you're coming back just for the Coldplay gig?

For some reason I'm more excited about this gig than I am about Wembley at the moment... so, the gig's on a Saturday and there's meal on the Friday?

Lol, yes I might. I think a few coldplayers from abroad will be coming down to spend a day in beautiful Kent that week, which will be rather nice. I also have plans for a Coldplay karaoke night in Soho (we'll be getting a private room, not one of these 'sing in front of strangers' events - just us lot) anyone interested PM me a bit nearer the time :)

I think it's absolutely shocking the band haven't been to Central or South America on this tour...and there are many other parts of the World that have been underplayed or just ignored totally... but hey-ho, as long as the USA has enough shows eh?!

^^ Agreed with Fixed. I saw them live for about the fifth time at Glastonbury 1997, and had to walk away. They were well past their prime music-making days by then, I reasoned, plus: everything they played bored me to death. I've liked some of the stuff they've come up with since then. But, if it's not your thing, it's not your thing.

Ooh, I would so love to go to this gig and meet you all, wish I had a ticket :whistle:

A huge personality who so many people will know from here if they've been around for a few years, and many many more will know from the gigs. The boys themselves will know who she is from lots of meetings down the years... Very sad news indeed :(

Right then time to see if a trip's possible to either the Barcelona, Paris or other-one-beginning-with-N gigs :)

Not that it really matters, but 9 I think. My next highest band's Massive Attack with 5 or 6, oh and Ride with a similar number about 17 years ago :laugh3:

As you stand looking at Buck House Green Park's on the right and St James's Park is on the left. St James's is prettier and more formally laid out. Green Park's bigger and plainer, so might be better for a bigger group, as you can always find loads of space. Green Park's closer to its Tube station (of the same name) than St James's is. Green Park's also only a short walk down Piccadilly from Piccadilly Circus with its fast food places etc and all the nearby restaurants and bars/pubs, which give somewhere to escape to if it rains :)

I love exploring, and there is so much incredible countryside and architecture round here. Unfortunately my friends either don't like those sorts of trips, or are too busy with their families :(

I have a permanent option on the executive suite at hotel Tonsu, but it's rather far from Wembley unless the Stone Elephant car fleet is in operation*. As for parks, Green Park is probably one of the most convenient, loadsa picnic space too. * also known as 'my sister's boyfriend is going to drive us all' :P
