  1. Lol, I've been planning a trip back to Osaka to see friends and (almost) family for ages, it just seems like it could be rather cool to make it then :laugh3:
  2. If all the postcards can be collected at the same place it will be pretty easy for anyone in and around London to deliver them to the band (of course probably not in person) the weekend of December 13th/14th. They will be around there then for sure. One plan I made earlier as a suggestion before it seemed people were going to send them individually (with back-up plan): 1) Aim to have all postcards collected together by very early December. This will give any delayed ones enough time to arrive, and avoid the terrible mail times of mid-December. The further away people live, the earlier they should post. 2) One week beforehand, contact Debs, explaining what's been done (loads of Coldplay's biggest fans have made this incredible effort for them) and ask where in London they can be delivered to on that weekend, and at what time. Actually, I'd go one further and ask if they can be delivered to the Bakery, because that would just be incredibly cool, and would make a great photo for everyone on here to see their cards arriving there :) There will DEFINITELY be people at the Bakery at some point that weekend, so if the deliverer is able to be flexible, they will be delivered. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE!: 3) Through Debs again, arrange for someone to collect them (Hoppy, Vicki, anyone) from the postman/lady at the front of the o2 on any of the days of the gigs (Sunday 14th/15th/16th) If someone's able to be flexible this is a certain way to get them delivered!! (Just thought - Ian and Jen could deliver them at the Manchester gig also, couldn't they? Or another member at the other UK gigs?)
  3. Now the question is, do I go to Japan to pick up the EP on the 19th...?
  4. I'd be happy to deliver the postcards for anyone who wanted to do it like that. Unfortunately I'm not the homeowner here though, and he doesn't want me to give the address out over the internet...(which is fair enough I suppose)...
  5. Not sure if this has already been posted (my bad if it has). I also posted on the Lost! and PM threads, but it may deserve a thread of its own? 8. There's a photo of that side of the building on the Bakery thread, and it seems to be just a wall along there, but hard to tell as the size of the pic isn't that big. Maybe us Londoners can fill the building up with butterflies from the O2 gigs for when they arrive in the morning :D It does look like there might be a letter box there, can anyone who's visited so far confirm? The Post Office wouldn't do that, but agreed it's pretty risky.
  9. Thinking about it, I'd be very surprised if Debs would tell us the address for the Bakery - they may not like to be disturbed there at all, and confirming the address might seem like she's condoning/encouraging letters to there. Just some thoughts :\ <edit> I guess the only way to find out is to ask?
  10. Good points, I'll check it out when I go up there. If we don't get any further than that though, we could always write (behind Ravel's Bistro) in there too. Or do people think we should ask Debs?
  11. Thanks Mich :) I couldn't agree more - so many brilliant ideas and inspiration from everyone here :flutterby: I hope to be visiting the Bakery later in the week, so will check the address as best I can. It's quite possible it doesn't have a number, as lots of those types of buidings didn't in the past, still don't in fact. When do we want them to arrive? They play London from 14th December for three nights (probably back in London that weekend after the Friday gig in Manchester). Too far in the future, should it be closer? I quite like that idea myself because it'll be a nice Christmas/New Year present for them, but the problem is the Christmas mail... Maybe plan for them to start arriving from late Nov or early Dec, when they're back in the country for the UK gigs and will be around London quite a lot?
  12. I've a nagging feeling Jools will try to play a song with them on piano, in which case... GLASS OF WATER
  13. The Bistro's address is 4 Fleet Road The estate agents is 2 Both share the same postcode, so it's probable the Bakery does too. 3 is probably over the other side of the street. So for the address, how about something like: Coldplay The Old Bakery Fleet Road London NW3 2QS United Kingdom
  14. Marvellous!! I've been thinking about how to get the postcards to the boys, and have two ways to deliver them (that's if we don't decide to email them individually). Now I just need to check some dates...
  15. Brilliant!! :) Do you want me to print it and drop it through the door? Or, have you seen the Postcards project thread - that would work wonderfully for that?
  16. This is such a lovely idea, happy to get involved/help out in any way I can :) I agree that just one or two each is best (more than that starts to look like spam, and diminishes the impact). And I don't think it's worth contacting Debs until the project's almost finished and ready for delivery.
  17. Well then no need to have to PM you, you can share it with the whole world through us right now right here, and at no extra cost!!
  18. 1) Don't check wiki, or refer to it as a source for ANYTHING. 2) You said you were busy off detailing how George Dubya was going to annex the World - what happened?
  19. I've been a student of US politics for approaching twenty years. I majored in it at uni, etc etc etc. But that aside even a scarecrow (well, alright, a politically astute scarecrow) can see who is most to blame for this. Bush.
  20. Write one, scan it, and send me the scans, and I'll post it through the Bakery door when I'm there later this week...:)
  21. I'm pretty sure EPs are defined differently in different countries :)
  22. I'd like to help, but although I use these programs myself I have no idea from your posts what you're talking about bart :\ Have you used torrents before?
  23. Sure you can! How long do you need? Come on Chavi, you've got to do better than that - even Pris is coming from Mexico!! :laugh3: On the first page of this thread Ian? I couldn't seem to see that...
