Don't make a fuss. "Driven By You" is a good song. The samples are probably these "Ohhhhhhs". The first time it appears after "it's so hard to just go away".

I got my CD today. My average rating is 6,36. When listening to all the previous Coldplay-Albums for the first time, I had to listen to them over and over again. Now with the release of Mylo Xyloto i don't feel forced to push the repeat button on my stereo. It is weird. I am a bit disappointed. The album sounds overproduced, there is too much going on. All this walls of sounds and strings etc. and I really dislike all the reverb. The reverb in some songs is pretty exaggerated. I always defend bands who try to step into a new direction and develop, so I do with Coldplay. It is okay, they try something new or different. Sadly, it doesn't match my taste. Maybe the next time they stick back to the simple production and let the songs speak for themselves and not the effects on the songs. However, I'm really looking forward to them live next summer.

9/10 One of the best lyrics in a Coldplay song. As far as my taste is concerned, it seems to become like an half trash half phenomenal album. :-) No average songs until now.

After I was really disappointed listening to "Princess Of China" and "Hurts Like Heaven" the video placates me. Many times better than the video for ETIAW.

The studio version is a disappointment to me compared to the live version. Whenever i listen to the live version hundreds of shivers run down my spine. The studio version sounds so sterile. Almost like an electro remix. It is staggering how the instrumentation and production can change one's feeling for a song. It proves the song-writing abilities are still present but it's sad the production choke it all down.

Welcome to plastic pop, Coldplay! It is too much of everything. The Song is completely overloaded. The synths are simply awful. Little girls will like it, i doubt i will ever.

You have an extra On/Off-Button and a control dial for the "drive", is that true? And the drive effect even doesn't stop, although the On/Off Button for the effect is set to "off"? I've got a similar problem with my Fender amp. The cause might be a loose contact behind the On/Off-Button of the drive.

I agree with you. The melody in the first part sounds a bit like the last words of "A Message" ("and i love you, please come home"). The chorus melody is pretty uninspired.

Germany is the third biggest music market in the world. I guess Coldplay simply sell many CDs, downloads etc here, thus they book a lot of concerts. Chart position doesn't matter these days, it's all about sales figures. Plausible to me....

The sound mix is very bad, indeed. Pretty numb somehow. That won't replace my Rock am Ring recording, either.

Yes it is. EinsPlus is actually a digital program of the ARD. You can receive it via satellite and cable tv in Germany. ARD in Germany is similar to the BBC in Britain.

I guess, you need a german IP/Proxy to receive "EinsPlus" via Zattoo.
