No Chris almost killed himself by almost tripping over the speaker on the floor - he was watching the crowd and didn't see it, and Jonny pushed him back from the speaker. Jonny to the rescue - isn't that Will's job to make sure they get offstage in one piece?
  2. Oh, I'm sure I 'll try to find a way to wrap myself around him so you won't be able to photoshop me out - you know, kind of like a snake? God, I can't wait...so what should I ask him? And i have no idea how this thing will go. Will it be like a receiving line? Or can we just hang out and talk to them? I'll have to make note of what they're drinking - it is Cocktails with Coldplay, after all. Guy with his beer, but what about the other boys? And I can't drink too much and make a fool out of myself, but enough to uh, not be too quiet and shy. And how am I going to pick my jaw up off the floor when I see them? So many questions. I may need to practice beforehand.
  3. DUDE I AM going to meet him, July 19...woo hoo. Can't wait and I'll have lots of pictures. 46 days...:laugh3::P
  4. Leasing a jet for the US leg of the tour makes more sense than trying to book everyone's flights on commercial airlines. Gives them much more flexibility with their scheduling.
  5. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/wickedlies/DSC00140.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/wickedlies/DSC00140.jpg I found these pictures from the Detroit show, this girl had amazing photos (http://community.livejournal.com/coldplay/1013895.html?style=mine#cutid1)..but it looks like Chris is wearing his wedding ring? He has black tape over his left ring finger, I haven't noticed it in other pictures lately.
  6. Old for what??? Look at all the rockers who are still going strong..my husband and I saw Jimmy Buffett in concert last Thursday and we saw Styx/REO Speedwagon on Friday. Then he took our son to see Fleetwood Mac on Saturday! Try telling all those parrotheads that JB is too old. Every one of those musicians is well into their 50s, and possibly even 60s! He says he's really getting into Bruce Springsteen, too, and Bruce is 58 freaking years old! I saw him for the first time in concert in 1981, when I was 16 years old. He's still releasing new albums too. So I don't get why Chris is always so worried about being in his 30s - he's got a good 'nother 30 years left in him :laugh3:
  7. Ok, I'm showing my age here, but I saw U2 as the SUPPORTING act for the J Geils Band in 1982, in Los Angeles. Have any of you even heard of J Geils? And U2 is still touring, almost 30 years later.
  8. I was looking for more tickets for Home Depot and there were just single tickets left. So if it seats 30,000, that's a great turnout. Now that I got out my map, I'm seeing they played (or were scheduled to play) 4 shows in PA - I think that's great of them. Getting closer to more fans, so they don't have to travel as far to see them - how many bands do that? Yes, if they'd scheduled fewer shows, attendance might have been higher per show, but I feel they're reaching out to more fans this way. I wish I could see them more than the 2 times I will this summer, but I have a husband and 4 kids who keep rolling their eyes at mom and her obsession, lol.
  9. Why does a show have to sell out to be considered a success? They are regularly playing to 12,000+ fans at their shows, everywhere they go. They are playing 3 shows this summer in Southern California, and have sold out the largest venue - the Home Depot Centre, which for soccer, holds 27,000 - not sure how many seats with the configuration for Coldplay. There are tickets available for the Irvine show, but I'd stiil say it's at least 80% sold out, and that holds 15,000. Same with San Diego...that's 3 shows within 120 miles of each other. Obviously, people want to see them, so why not tour?
  10. Oh, he totally does...but look at Guy's face at 0:22, oh my gosh, what a look he gives. Now I need to go take a cold shower. lol
  11. When we lived just outside of London several years ago, I was surprised how different the houses looked on the inside...much different that I expected, coming from having lived in California my whole life, especially the master planned neighborhoods that seem to have taken over. I've seen the outside of Chris's house, too, and it does not look anything like I expected, either...
  12. I cant' stop listening the the Hardest Part on LRLRL...less than 2 months until I get to see them, *him*, again. Keep posting these pics to keep me going until then, please. I can't wait until I have my own great pics to post of Will (and those other 3 guys he plays with).
  13. I'm loving these pic spams - but does anyone else think he just keeps getting way better looking as he gets older? He looks like such a baby in some of them, and it cute and all, but oh my gosh, the most recent pics? He just looks amazingly hot. (or maybe because the older he gets, the less the age gap between us ;) )

    You are *so* TWITTERPATED. :laugh3:
  15. Now I feel better about being so lazy around here lately w/ posting pics. I kept thinking during the show, I have to get good pics for the Will thread!!! LOVE the Viva drums...THANK you! My favorite is the little one where his fingers make the L shape. drool
  16. Oh yeah, I can hear my son now "My mom makes us listen to you all the time in the car, and it's even worse when she sings along. And she knows all the words to all the songs so she never stops singing, and she's a terrible singer." lol It's true, I can't sing, but my 2 sons are awesome singers. At least I only have to decide between my husband and my 13 year old son; my 16 year old son and 10 year old daughter will be away at summer camp. (The 13 year old plays football and has practice camp all summer.) I wish I could bring both of them and not have to choose. What's one more at a cocktail party? I already have an extra pair of tickets...hmmm...
  17. Thank you for that! Oh my gosh, he's so freaking fine...
  18. I adore Will's voice on The Hardest Part on LRLRL...but Chris's voice is *the* voice of Coldplay. I would love to hear more Will solos, though.
  19. Ha ha ha, LOVE this. I'll have to remember this for my shows in July.
  20. Have fun tonight all who are going! I hope Chris's arm is better and that there's no rain! I still have 7 weeks to wait:cry:
  21. I'm going to see them Saturday night in Carson, then Sunday night in Irvine. I have floor tickets for Carson, and was planning on taking my husband to that show and my son to the show in Irvine, whichi I had bought tickets to. I bought Sunday's show tickets on Friday,March 20, then I won tickets to the Sunday show on March 22. My husband totally embarrassed me when i was talking to the radio dj, but he was excited for me. So now, my husband wants to come meet the boys - he figures he "deserves" it for putting up with me and my little "obsession." Although, my son may embarrass me too. Hell, maybe I should just go alone and drool in peace, lol. I'm already getting nervous and trying to think of not stupid things to say to them. I think there were maybe 25 winners, so there will be 50+ people there. Still, 50 people is better than 15,000. I don't know any of the details yet, the radio station said "don't call us, we'll call you" and I haven't heard anything since i won. They better no fiorget me! I even had a nightmare that they forgot to call me. And Will's birthday is 12 days after the concert. I'll have to wish him early happy birthday  I knit, so I thought about making him a scarf, but I don't know if that's too cheesy...or if he'd just donate it to charity.
  22. Kinda makes you want to squeeze them...well, more than kinda. Oh man, I can't wait to see those muscles in person in July... Do you think it would be rude to ask if I can touch them when I get to meet him? "Oh, hey, Will, do you mind if I feel your muscles?" Ha ha...and my husband will be there with me - unless I decide to bring my 13 year old son, to meet them. Still a toss up. My husband might embarrass me too much, lol.
  23. The Hardest Part on LRLRL - Will is just so amazing, love hearing him sing solo.
  24. :::fanning myself::: He is so hot. LOVE seeing him sing like that.:wacky:
