I'm volunteering too! With Tracey and her daughter Melissa :) Who are you? It's a lot of fun. I volunteered at the Hollywood Bowl last month. We are also going to the Tampa show, but not volunteering at that one. I can't wait!

Awww....hugs....I know the feeling. I'm lucky that I get to see them in 3 1/2 weeks, but it feels like my Coldplay Week 2012 was a lifetime ago. I went to a unbelievable concert on Saturday night that blew me away, and I can't stop thinking about that one, too. So much so, that I bought tickets to see them again in Las Vegas in September - only 280 miles away. LOL I was front row, pit, and a few times, close enough that I could have reached up and played the guitar, and at one point, I thought he was going to hit me in the head with the neck, because he was leaning over so far. Haha. I also had some verbal interaction with the band that was just amazing. But I totally get the "homesick" feeling, been there...

Yes, the Live Nation vip. We also got a souvenir lanyard with VIP pass (which really meant a big fat nothing) and a souvenir ticket.

Yeah, we got the same stuff. 2 weeks after our show. I don't know why it took so long to ship out these trinkets - we ordered our tickets for the show in January and the show was in May! The t-shirt quality isn't really the greatest, and the picture is just ok. I personally think that offering the VIP option is just a way for the fans to get tickets they probably would have had to go to scalpers to get for the same price. We paid $275 for tickets that would have cost $167, and they included the t-shirt, meaning we didn't have to buy one at the venue. The poster is nice enough and the keychain is cute. But we bought the VIP package to guarantee that we would get decent seats without the stress of the whole ticketmaster thing. I'd rather pay the money to Coldplay than to a scalper.

It's those plastic tiles they lay down over grass to protect the pitch from thousands of feet.

Wonder what they think about all those fans who got there so early, some as early as 4am, to race to the front, just to see them...

I've been in the front row more times than I can count, but that darn singer or that darn guitar hero are always dancing around and getting in my way, so I have to shoot around them or wait until they are doing their singer-guitar dude thing on the ramp before I can even see our drummer. I'l get to it sometime this weekend, photo bucket is annoying because I can't just drag from iPhoto, I have to go from the little thumbnails to try to see the decent ones and upload. But I've been to so many shows the last few months, I do have quite a few of our guy.

All right...give me a bit, and I'll upload a s**tload of Will pics, some ok, some not ok, and some really good...I have so many it's not even funny. LOL :laugh3:

Don't be so quick to judge. I have 6 bands from different shows. I know there are people at the show tonight who have been to more than one show :)

That takes me to the app download. It got such horrible reviews that I wasn't sure if it was better to try to listen through safari or to download the app. I'm using my 3G, not wifi, and so many complaints about it. It seems to be working for now. Thanks!

Is anyone listening on an iPhone in the US? Do I have to download the app or can I just stream from safari?

I try to take a LOT of photos of Will when I go to concerts, but it's so damn hard to get great pictures because he is so far back behind the others. I have way more pics than I've posted, lol.

Austin City Limits Festival in 2011. Coldplay headlined Friday night, Sept 16, and Arcade Fire headlined Sunday night, Sept 18.

Could there be some kind of ordinance against fireworks? I know in some of their shows, fireworks were not allowed - like last fall in Austin and at UCLA due to drought conditions. Not saying there is a drought, but there is probably a good reason why they didn't have fireworks in Turin.
