  1. I emailed Club Nokia to ask how many GA Pit and GA Standing tickets were sold. I also asked how Will Call works for people who line up early. This is their response: Thank you for your inquiry. Ticket count information is confidential. There may be a separate line for Will Call, but there will not be separate lines depending on where your ticket is. See you at the show!
  2. They went fast. I'm mad that twitter didn't send me a text - I have text notifications enabled, but got nothing :(
  3. Roadie 42, Where are you? No updates since Dec 22, when he said he'd packed his gear on the truck for Abu Dhabi and he would update after New Year's. It's well past New Year's! Come out, come out, where ever you are...
  4. I tried for a few minutes and nothing came up. I was hoping to get 2 tickets for my husband and daughter. That's fine, I'm going with my Coldplay buddies :) The radio station websites are all saying the show is now sold out. Oh and my husband and 13 old daughter were both horrified by the thought of me wearing an elephant-wearing-a-tutu costume :elephant:, so Jason, I'm going to have to pass on the dressing up. :laugh3:
  5. Jason can wear this one. I will be wearing this.
  6. The Row K ones are the ones that didn't go through. Then I couldn't get anything, but my husband bought me a single ticket, so I"m very happy.
  7. That's about what came up for me before it error'ed. I had Row K, Seats 105-106. Oh well. I'm still going... :) Thanks to my awesome husband who was luckier than I was.
  8. This is BEYOND F**KED UP. I had tickets, entered in all the payment info, clicked the final submit, then got an error message and the order didn't go through. This happened TWICE. I called ticketmaster fan support like it said to do and all she could tell me that there is a glitch in the system and to keep trying. I am so sad. :( because now nothing is coming up.
  9. Oops. While reading the thread, must have accidentally hit post. I have nothing to say so carry on. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I know! I was standing at the front of the stage the last 3 times I've seen them. But there are only 2300 tickets available - so i think it will take a miracle to get them, especially after the fiasco of trying to get tickets to Hollywood Bowl :(
  11. We were in Las Vegas this past weekend for my daughter's soccer tournament. The first night, I was sitting at my slot machine and heard Clocks over the casino sound system. I left the slots to find my husband at the craps table, and walked past the nightclub where a live band was playing Talk. One of the nights, we went to Aria, and they played Low in that casino! Low, of all songs... Later, we went over to the Cosmopolitan and heard ETIAW in that casino. After we left Cosmopolitan, we were walking down the Strip back towards Bellagio, and heard ETIAW again! The next morning, back at our hotel/casino, we heard Talk yet again, but this time through the casino speakers. Las Vegas must LOVE Coldplay. LOL
  12. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/2C00482C18B262C2?brand=goldenvoice When you look at this link, there are 3 colors - blue is GA and upper balcony, red is for VIP and yellow is lower balcony. I'm thinking/hoping that GA and Upper Balcony are the $100 tickets. Let's hope my Coldplay luck hasn't run out yet, and I can get tickets! In the drop down charts that Jason mentions, it shows seats on the floor, too. I've been to this venue, it's very small, and seats on the floor are just dumb, imo. So I'm hoping that the floor is all GA! It's kind of similar to the Hollywood Palladium, if anyone has been there recently.
  13. I will bet you anything this means they are performing at the Grammy's which are Feb 12, right across the street.
  14. Bet you anything this means they are playing at the Grammy's which are in Los Angeles on February 12.

As of Monday morning, when the general sale started, there were about 10,000 tickets already being re-sold on stubhub and eBay, between the 3 Hollywood Bowl shows (venue seats 18,000-ish). Almost all of the tickets were sold through AmEx presale that started last Wednesday, for May 1 and 2, and Friday, for May 4, and the Live Nation and radio station presale that was Sunday. I could not get 2 seats together during the general sale for May 4, the third show :( It's crazy. As for the Samsung Summer Krush/Grammy Foundation show last summer, I'd say most of those tickets were free tickets that were distributed through online registration, and just a small percentage were purchased for the benefit.

I think, for now, it's "sold out," because there are no more tickets being sold. But I do think they will be releasing more seats in the future. I can't believe how quickly they went. And how many are on stub hub and ebay :(
  17. The second one is a few years old.
  18. Right now, between stub hub and ebay, there are roughly 10,000 tickets on sale between the 3 dates. I've been watching stub hub sales today, and I'd say maybe 500 sold today. Not sure how many have sold on ebay. But in any case, that's a HUGE number of tickets on the resale market. It really hurts the fans to have this happen.
  19. Also, about stubhub. I have sold and bought tickets on stubhub. While I'm not defending the availability of tickets on stubhub, one thing to consider are their fees when thinking that the scalpers are out to make a lot of $$. Stubhub charges the seller a fee of 15% on the price of every ticket sold, so just to break even sometimes, the seller must charge at least that much more than the ticket price. This doesn't excuse those sellers charging 5x face value, but that is a cost that must be considered. Also, the buyer pays an ADDITIONAL service fee of 10% just to buy the tickets, and if the tickets are hard copies, the only shipping option is FedEx 2 day, which the buyer also pays. I'm not sure if there is an additional fee for e-tickets. So stubhub makes 25% of the sales price of any ticket as their profit/fees. I just wish there was a more equitable way to sell tickets. Maybe paperless is the way to go in the future...at least to ensure availability to most fans.
  20. Ticketmaster owns stubhub. Edit: No I guess they don't own stub hub, but I have seen links that connect the two. Ebay owns Stubhub though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. From stubhub... Tue 05/01/2012 7:00 PM PDT Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles, CA Sell Priced from: $77.00 USD 3,641 tickets left Wed 05/02/2012 7:00 PM PDT Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles, CA Sell Priced from: $73.55 USD 3,714 tickets left Fri 05/04/2012 7:00 PM PDT Hollywood Bowl Los Angeles, CA Sell Priced from: $92.00 USD 2,024 tickets left
  22. I do have tickets for May 1 and 2 (got lucky and have excellent seats), but I also have ticketmaster gift cards that I couldn't use for the Amex presale. I wanted to take my kids to May 4, and use my giftcards to pay for them, but I couldn't even get 2 together, much less 5, or even 2 and 3. Sorry kids :(
  23. Nothing is coming up for ANY of the 3 shows. I did get one to come up for May 4, but it looks like the tickets are all gone already due to the presales. There are thousands of tickets available on stubhub though. :o
  24. Did you see the number of tickets on stubhub? Over 2200 for May 4, and 3800-3900+ for May 1 and 2. That's like 20% of the total capacity of the Hollywood Bowl. Crazy. It's like the general sale isn't even necessary anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
