  1. They couldn't have been all that bombarded, if they only moved across the street... And I don't think there will be a mad rush, seeing as most of us here aren't even in the same country. Still, it's nice to have the "mystery" solved. Well done :) I still think that side view of the church is darling, and that we are in for something wonderfully grand and different. I can't wait. :bomb: They must be keeping a very low profile these days, Chris hasn't been papped in weeks/months...
  2. He is SO YOUNG! ;)
  3. Oh, i LOVE this view of it...sigh...I'll be chaperoning my son's choir trip to Spain next April - wonder if I could make a pit stop in London on the way back home to California?
  4. I really couldn't imagine why it would have any effect on LP5. It would just be a weekend gig, right? Along the lines of Exeter, only on a larger scale :)
  5. Oh, come on you guys. Get over it. Does it really do any good for all of you to say the same thing? The poster is obviously excited, and wanted to share and all you do is jump all over him for the caps lock? It's his third post, so cut the guy some slack. Propsectluis, there are so many of us who share your love of Coldplay, and I'm so glad that the Mexican crowds had such a powerful impact on the band :) I saw the clip on youtube of the crowd singing to the band, and it was truly an amazing thing to see.
  6. There is always the old-fashioned way...by ship! Transatlantic cruises take a few days now.
  7. She can't get back to London with that ash cloud.
  8. Ahh, Tracey, you know me too well :drunk: We'll have to work on the Food and Wine this summer in Vegas, baby. Sorry, but I won't have sex with you. :laugh3:
  9. In the United States and Canada, it's called post-partum depression.
  10. Jonny and Guy both own condos in New York, not far from where you saw them :)
  11. New York, huh? Guess they're taking a little break from the Beehive. There were just pics of Gwyneth and the kids in New York, too, a few days ago.
  12. I had no problem going to the site and clicking around and it was normal speed. I have an iMac. I'll try from my pc, too, and see if it happens there.
  13. I saw Bon Jovi last month. There were 2 empty seats next to me, and the guy in the next seat FELL ASLEEP! During Bon-freaking-Jovi!!! What is UP with people at concerts???
  14. You know, one of the reasons the Beatles stopped touring was because they were unable to recreate their studio sound in live performances. Back in the 60s, the technology just wasn't there. I would much rather see a band live who is able to recreate their studio sound onstage, even with prerecorded tracks, than not see them at all. Or else they would have to have studio musicians help them out, which I believe, would detract from what was created by the 4 members of Coldplay. The charisma that so identifies Chris Martin would be so lost if he were not able to perform live. There are few bands with only four members that don't use studio musicians or backing tracks live.
  15. ^This. I love Glee, and the show is witty, and just fun. Their vocal arrangements have mostly been terrific. Hell, if Coldplay can be butchered on AI, then why not lend themselves to a show that thrives on creativity and professionals who can actually sing? Lea Michele and Kristen Chenoweth anyone? It's not like Glee is taking unknowns, either...they've showcased Queen for God's sake, as well as Journey, REO Speedwagon, Wicked, Neil Diamond, Heart, Rolling Stones, Beyonce..
  16. What an odd response. I agree, the video was a bit unsteady and shaky, but the comment "not a fan of performing children?" What is that supposed to mean? These kids are part of a choir. Is Oracle not a fan of children's choirs, child musicians (my daughter plays violin in a children's orchestra), child actors - such as those in children's theatres, and what about dancers? Most professional "performers" got their start as "performing" children. I dunno, kinda sounds like she doesn't like kids...
  17. Marcus, Yeah, they have to save their mouth muscles for actual singing so they can't give us a big smile. LOL And congrats on your ebay score! Someone else from the board won signed sheet music from the boys on ebay, too. Ziggy, where are you? Did you get it framed yet?
  18. Kelly, you described everything so perfectly...I'm glad you had a great time, and I can see how it would be kind of weird and exhausting, lol. And with 4 kids, I know all too well that shift-eating thing, so cute about Jonny and Chloe with the baby. Nice pic of you, Kirsten and Jonny.
  19. Yeah, me too :( It's just hard with the kids in school and juggling their schedules right now, and with my husband traveling, just hard to get away. I didn't want to plan too far in advance and believe me, I was well aware of those $300 rt flights to MC from LAX and I could have swung the 4S, too. Family had to come first this time and with my mother-in-law's emergency brain surgery Thursday night, well, maybe it was just meant to be. Next time, though, next time. The kids will be older and more independent when the next tour comes around, and I am so freaking there... I'm so glad you and Kevin got to go for one last Viva fling and you were able to get your letter signed - I remember you on the hotel floor in Tampa with your amazing posters. That day was fun, regardless :)
  20. Kelly, having spent the day with you in Tampa way back in August, you're darling no matter what :) And it looked like you were having fun with Chris and Guy, too ;) And looked to be in a very intense conversation with Jonny, too.
  21. And my preferences are Will and Jonny :) No one will shoot you, Marie. Why don't the guys ever smile nicely in fan pics? They always look, well, just not quite their best. Don't they realize the impact they have on fans who meet them? They could at least give us all a nice smile, doncha think? Not that I love them any less, but still...When I met Will, he looked me in the eye and smiled directly at me...swoon...guess that's better than any pic, but geez, dudes. Show some happy teeth! :D
  22. Ok, this picture totally has me laughing...looks like the whole audience is part of the Blue Man Group, esp. that dude on the left, well, and Jackie, too. :laugh3:
  23. Yah, but even Marriott's charge $4.50 for their bottles of in-room water LOL So roughly $11 for 3 shots of tequila sounds almost like a bargain. :laugh3: And I'm speaking in American dollars. Four Seasons are really really nice. Last time we stayed at one with our kids, they had kid-sized bathrobes laid out on the beds in the rooms with kid bath toy letters spelling out my kid's names on top of the robes. They delivered cookies and milk to their room after we checked in. Later, they brought the most darling plate of chocolates, sea-shell shaped, arranged in an ocean scene on the plate. Now my kids are totally spoiled and only want to stay there. LOL
  24. For a quick comparison, a bottle of water was 60 pesos, which converts roughly to $4.78 American dollars. :) Mexico uses the $ for pesos...
