LoL johnny's guitar break sounds awesome backwards!

A friend dragged me (against my will) into a "Coach" store, but then the speakers started to blast the Talk Junkie XL remix song. It was really hilarious because I can't imagine Coldplay going techno (oh yeah, still can't!). :lol:

Everything's Not Lost

When it first came out, I loved Yellow initially, but I was stupid to follow my peers' opinions of "Wow that's the dumbest song ever!" Oh those embarassing middle school years...how I wanted to fit in... :angry: A few years later, VH1 kept playing a bunch of Coldplay songs from the AROBTTH album, and my mind opened up again. The Scientist got me to like them once more, and I figured they'll be around in the music biz for a while. I bought their album, watched the DVD, and chose to be a fan of Coldplay. It wasn't until X&Y came out, Coldplay's "Talk" performance on the EMA's, and going to their concert back in February was how I became OBSESSED! These guys are the real deal to me. :)

Okay it's been established that Parachutes is an awesome album. THE END! :P But I guess I can see where Chris MIGHT be coming from. It's been years since they made that album, and Chris's perspective has changed so much as Coldplay grew over the years. If you compare, say.... his lyric materials then and now, he's less "hopeless romantic" now than before. Plus, the band is much more creative in their music composition. For example, I recently looked back on my journal entries that I wrote when I was 13, and I'm apalled by the stuff I "thought" was "most memorable in my life." Times have gone by, and I'm much wiser to know that there are bigger things to pay attention to. :dozey:

I wished Fix You wasn't a part of this movie. :( Whether the scene was supposed to be funny (or serious), the song didn't seem to really fit in until the end with Chris's last lines. :confused:

Oh man I LOVE Mater! Larry The Cable Guy's voice still cracks me up (Git Er Done!!) :P The part where Filmore plays Hendrix's version of Star Spangled Banner....I yelled "YEAH HENDRIX!" a little too loud. Oops :wideeyed: The credits footage was great, wasn't it? :)

Chris just likes to speak his mind whenever, whereever (sp?) Whatever the group's real intentions are...we'll just have to see. Anyway, this man is acting quite a tease. :P

ummm through the mumblings (and the accents make it harder to understand fully, grr!!), i think they said that the "thing" on jack's hand was a mark to have davy jones find him...??? yup, i have no idea either. :thinking: the clip after the credits was barely anything!
