  1. Justin Timberlake inspired Coldplay? :laugh3: not that i don't like Justin, but it's just that i can't see that particular flow of direction....i mean i can expect Justin to be inspired by Coldplay (to me it was evident in that interlude bit at the end of the song, "LoveStoned"), yet not the other way around. and Coldplay is "the modern Beatles"? that's a huge statement there. sorry but i remain skeptical about that theory. :\
  2. my guess is that it's a random-generated password.... ...otherwise, help out your Coldplay-loving brothers and sisters here! ;)
  3. it's not working for me right now :\
  4. like "Fix You"....yeah they went completely mainstream there, but not really "pop." also, some of the other songs we've heard are more subdued than the regular "pop" materials in that genre. not to mention they still deviate from the rather-simplistic music composition within "pop." but yeah with exception of "Viva la Vida," Coldplay's works still land them under the "alternative" label. (and on a personal note, the day Coldplay becomes "pop" is when my Jessica Simpson/Britney Spears/Mariah Carey-lovin' cousins finally decide that Coldplay is HAPPY-HAPPY MUSIC, easy to understand, and that they can do better covers).
  5. absolutely with you there on the situation +1
  6. LoL sorry i'm clearly taking the piss here. :laugh3: in all honesty, i adore them very much, more-so for the music. but hey...beauty is the eye of the beholder, yeah?
  7. as much as it pains me to say....i'm kind of hoping that i don't win tickets because getting into that kind of situation would be tricky. unless somehow im able to book a flight and a hotel for the concert in two-week's notice... :(

  15. when you refuse to eat dinner because: [a] you're not allowed to eat in your room and listen to the radio station giving away Coldplay gig tickets -and- you'll miss the chance to call the radio station to win tickets to a Coldplay concert
  16. Coldplay or Muse? whatever, either of the two (or both), that needs to be on your "to-do list for life." they're goooood :) anyone else also torturing themselves with KROQ at the moment? :laugh3:
