they know i'm obsessed with coldplay, but i think organizing an international letter-writing campaign to the band members is a bit more than i'm willing to casually divulge :lol:. i don't really care what they think to most extents, but i don't think they have any reason to know just HOW obsessed i am :P

haha, same with me, my FB status was "chelsea is SQUEE" and my friends started asking why, so i made up a lame excuse :P. i just changed it to something else :lol:. especially since lore squeed on my wall--my friends would know something's up! :P my coldplayer friends (rolle and mich) said that they almost commented about the project, though! my friends would have been like ":thinking: what the hell is wrong with you? you're such an embarrassing fangirl" :lol:

oh man, lore, i remember that thread, when it just started and was just a random, small idea :freak:. and i still find it really cool that coldplay has seen all our art and has read all our words :wacky:.

i can't believe we pulled all this off, with huge amounts of help from debs :bigcry:. that first night, i figured we were all onto something because everyone was so into it and the poll numbers were huge, but i almost never fully expected it to reach this point. it's not that i expected it to fail, but i just didn't expect it to be this huge, either, nowhere near it. i'm really curious as to how many cards were sent in. i also find it hilarious that i was so involved :lol:. if i recall correctly, all i did was offer to draft a letter to get the ideas flowing, and everyone was like "that's great, just send that" :laugh4:. i think i got so involved because people kept saying i was more or less right on with the things i was writing, so i just kept going, and i'm also a huge geek and like to organize things and write instructions :P. also, i had a LOT of uni work to do at the time, and i always tend to get most into coldplaying when i have uni work to do :P. anyway, it's just weird to have the whole thing almost OVER. i can't believe we pulled it off! all that's left now is the surprise :bomb:

hiii lore :wacko: ready to party? :dance: ohhh god, kara :bomb:. i bet if they were going to show them, they'd show a sample, and i figure they'd show the most awesome ones, meaning ones like pris's and thalia's :D ok, i said i wouldn't say this in the thread because i thought it might get peoples' hopes up UNREALISTICALLY high, but keep in mind that this was JUST A DREAM. but two nights ago i actually had a dream about the project. i was watching the grammys (well, an awards show--i assume it was the grammys) and coldplay was performing, i think lovers in japan. and instead of having a video or something on the bigscreen in back of them, they were showing a slideshow of our postcards while they played on live TV :wacky: *THAT WAS JUST A DREAM, PEOPLE. IN NO WAY DO I EXPECT THE SURPRISE TO BE ANYTHING THAT HUGE.*

it's weird to think that they've seen all our drawings and read all of our notes in our own handwriting...:freak:. i can't really believe they've read my letter and have seen semy's logo hundreds of times over by now. it's just all so cool :wacky: [/fangirl]

^ i was thinking that when listening to the interview today: CHRIS HAD SEEN THE POSTCARDS BEFORE THIS WAS RECORDED! but i wonder if debs told him not to say anything on air to make the surprise better :thinking: haha, and the facebook squee is for the postcards :P. i'm just not advertising that fact :lol: i really hope that this is announced before next tuesday :P. wednesday and thursday i'm out all day and can't check my computer. tuesday would be ideal :wideeyed:

i'm so excited, i keep thinking about the moment i either find a new post related to the project on the main site (i assume that's how we'll be notified, but who knows) and what day and time it'll be and where i'll be. i hope to god my roommate isn't around :lol:. that will be mortifying if she's in the room :P *ahem* so i know that the jaffa discussion has fallen through because of the breaking news, but...i requested my mom to mail be a box from home, and when she went to the UK store to buy them for me...AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY :stunned:. and she went to the other shops and they were out too! :uhoh: THERE IS A JAFFA CAKE SHORTAGE IN CONNECTICUT! :bigcry: if debs hadn't reported back today, i think i'd me rather more upset by the great jaffa cake shortage of 2009 than i actually am right now :P

i'm such a fangirl, but MAJOR SQUEE. i made my facebook status "SQUEE" and one of my friends asked why i was squeeing and i was like ":uhoh:" and made up an excuse :lol:. i don't know if i want my real-life friends knowing just how fangirly i am :P so. excited. :bomb: has lore seen yet?!

haha, well i have to say, when debs posted today and said she delivered them yesterday, i was wondering exactly what i was doing at the time yesterday when they got them :wacky:. i was probably all sweaty at the gym or being really bored in class or something :P

i'm personally not convinced 100% that debs is the oracle, but it's most definitely likely.

the fact that this thread wasn't stickied anymore made me freak out for a second. every day now i come back to my computer thinking the chances are good, but...blergh.

it's already the 28th in some parts of the world :freak:. then again, it's not all that far off here either, but i don't consider days officially over until i go to sleep :P SUE, YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ME SQUEE. i'm so excited that any remotely-possible theory gets my hopes up, even random coldplayers having gut feelings :lol:. i'm still sticking with the drop-off being today and the report back being sometime in the next week until we're told otherwise, because i can't deny the gut! :lol:
