i was going to stay silent on the whole matter because it's been a bit explosive, but honestly, i never saw the point of this at all. i thought the whole point of the board was for everyone to talk and share ideas and get them rolling, rather than filtering them through some committee first. i feel like the mods are the only "committee" that anything would ever need to pass through, and i think that good ideas and successful projects happen spontaneously and evolve over time rather than being forced out and heavily sculpted by some committee determined to spice things up when they're fine as they are. the committee, while not intetionally harmful, seems elitist and unnecessary. and since it seems to have been in the drastic minority in the past weeks without anything getting done, i don't really get why it's been forced onwards anyway.

i forgot too and completely missed the first episode :sad:. i remembered for the second, though. and i was pissed about the move to ABC, since i love NBC and don't really like ABC, but i say the show's on the mend based on the 3 episodes i've seen. i think they're actually mending it, if you ask me. i definitely didn't expect that. anyway, back on topic.

in the new season of scrubs, zach braff has coldplay-esque stubble. it definitely doesn't work too well for him :lol:. then again, i'm not big on coldplaystubble even on coldplay :P i haven't been coming across too many random coldplay thoughts lately :sad:

the first guy isn't *that* muscly, so i would say that's not too much of a problem. but yeah, muscles do nothing for me.

haha, i don't really mind chris being mouthy in interviews or acceptance speeches, as long as he doesn't say something that will make people that don't understand him think he's "arrogant." i was watching the 06 brit awards on youtube recently and he said something that probably made most people that don't know how he is think he was the biggest asshole in the world. other than that kind of thing, i like him saying crazy things, even if he is a bit smashed :lol: i just hope he doesn't get drunk or muck up the performance. i think he's likely to do both :uhoh:

if they do VLV with real strings a la politik at (whatever year's) grammys, then it would be worth it, but i figure most people are tired of that song by now :P. i'm thinking either LIJ or LITii, and i have my fingers crossed for LITii, since they haven't done that for anything big yet and they did LIJ (badly) at the AMAs.

ah, it figures. but YAY :dance: i hope they play LITii. based on performances of it that they did on UK TV, it sounds like they pull it off better than the others they could do. then again, i think it's the celebrities and stuff in the audience that gets chris all scared. i just hope they up the bar on this one a bit.

oh, well i guess i have an account on IMDB, but i've never posted anything on it, and i never really use the forum feature thingy. i just get movie info off the main film pages :P. so i don't really count that as a forum i'm on.
