  1. haha, well i think it is considered pretty girly to have names picked out already. sorry nick :P. i actually think it's really cute, though. i really like untraditional names that you don't hear all the time. my husband better be alright with that, because i absolutely refuse to have a kid with a traditional or trendy name . he also better like the names i have picked out :P
  2. i want one. actually, i'd be fine with having two, but i'd want them to have at least 10 years age difference. i think i'd explode from stress if i had two close together, and growing up, i would have given anything to be an only child. i wanted twins for a while (a boy and a girl, preferably), and while i still think that's nice, i don't know if i could handle two babies at once. i'm pretty young, but i think about having kids all the time . i wouldn't say i'm "feeling my biological clock ticking," but i really want a kid and i don't really want to put it off for too long. ideally, i'd want a little boy, and in a somewhat atypical bit of girliness, i have (very unusual) names already picked out . i'd really love to adopt, but that can take years and is so expensive. i'm just not that excited about being pregnant, giving birth, or having to be all healthy while pregnant :P. and there are so many kids out there that need homes...i just don't know if i could afford it or wait long enough for the process to run its course.
  3. i guess january, just because it's boring and i used to have midterm exams in january back in high school.
  4. nick, since when have you become mark? :worried: and didn't that wendy's finger thing turn out to be a big fake?
  5. come on debs :bigcry: :P i bet she's really busy, but i'm still on vacation and don't have much to distract me, so i'm waiting for a reply eagerly . anyway, i guess if we don't hear by the end of the month we can email her, but something tells me she's already delivered them and just hasn't gotten around to telling us yet
  6. tina fey, hands down. from what i can tell, her personality and interests are similar to mine already, but i think she's such a great person and a good role model who does the sort of things i always wished i could.
  7. i think friendships can definitely exist over the internet, but real relationships? i think something could potentially start online, but i don't think it really is "complete," for lack of a better word, until it's carried out face-to-face. an entirely online relationship that lasted for a singificant amount of time, while nice and fun, i think would probably lack something without it continuing on in real life. i'm having a hard time articulating why i consider it differently than just regular friendships, because i don't think it has all that much to do with being physical with each other, but for some reason it's inherently different in my mind.
  8. WENDY'S :wideeyed:. i could eat wendy's every day, i think, if it wasn't so bad for you. have any other americans had five guys? i LOVE that place. i crave the bacon cheese dogs sometimes. i have to say that fast food usually doesn't mess with my digestive system too much (well, besides wendy's frosties, which i'm pretty sure i'm allergic to). i usually feel worse after i eat a big meal at a nice resaurant than i do when i eat fast food, i think because i tend to eat smaller portions of fast food because i feel guilty for eating it in the first place. but i can't deny that i love it.
  9. snow here! we've sure been getting a lot of it this year, but it's so pretty :nice:. the only time i don't like it is when it messes with my plans.
  10. invisibility, no question. i've always wished i could be invisible (and have the ability to be soundless while invisible). i think that's the most useful superpower i can think of.
  11. i've thought of a boatload more merchandise and magazines etc that i didn't include in my first post. ohhh god, i'm crazy!
  12. i completely agree with you: i get uncomfortable and nervous around drunk people too, and that's reason #1 why i don't go to parties as well. i'm not anti-alcohol, i'm anti misuse of alcohol. anyway, yeah, gwyneth was a bit out of line with that comment. i think she should think a bit more about how what she says sounds to other people most of the time. however, in this case, i can't say i entirely disagree with her point of view on this topic either. another case of me giving her the benefit of the doubt, i guess . but i think in general, i take people for whati think they mean to say most of the time rather than how they say it.
  13. i just started reading extremely loud and incredibly close today! that's an interesting coincidence :D TOP 5 ACTORS/ACTRESSES 1. tina fey 2. cate blanchette 3. gwyenth paltrow 4. simon pegg 5. nick frost hard to pick 5, though...
  14. :cheesy: i want to see chris ice skating! i bet he would either be pretty good or hilariously bad at it, and given the way he dances, i bet he would look hysterical flailing on ice :P ANYWAY, maybe i'm just being too overly generous to gwyneth, but i don't think she meant that statement you marked with ":worried:" in a holier-than-thou sort of way--i took it to mean that negitivity can lead to unhappiness, which is something a lot of people believe. that's just my interpretation, though, and i think a lot of times i cut gwyneth more slack than she deserves. but if she would just stop with the diets and hoity philosphical stuff and kept it to clothes and food (maybe a few issues on a budget, too), then i'd completely love goop.
  15. you really don't want to know. ok, four concerts at $75-$90 each. 6 tshirts between $20 and $40 each. 4 albums, two EPs, two DVDs, four vinyl LPs, the vinyl singles boxset, two posters, keychain, bracelets, tote bag...there's probably more i'm not thinking of. i would say just that adds up to $1000 at the very least, probably more than that. and then there's transportation, which is at least another $1000 right there in gas, trains, parking fees, and hotel fares. though if i'm counting wembley in september, i'm not counting the plane tickets, since i'll be in england anyway :P
  16. i think there's a good chance it could be a weekend. her going to visit the guys isn't "work," i don't think, and the weekend would probably be good for the kind of meet-up i assume they're having. but today's the day for my guess, so let's just hope an email or post rolls in later :P i also think that it will be early january (i.e., before the 15th or so) because that's what debs said was in their calendars. hell, i think she might have a lready delivered them; she just hasn't taken the time to tell us yet. that's just what i think, though :D
  17. i searched on youtube for the video of him spitting out the wine, but it didn't come up with anything. anyone know of video existing of that? but i did find something from the same night, where those infamous "carrying jonny" pictures came from: [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2i26XyWXkgw]YouTube - Coldplay Brit Awards[/ame] he was most definitely a bit inhebreated that night . but i bet chris and coldplay-haters take what he said at the end as evidence of him being "arrogant" :dozey:
  18. ahh, that would make sense :dunce:. to me, it lookes like livistalk made or something like that
  19. oooh, i only had two of those! :nice: thanks zoe! i asked earlier if you knew what was written in black above the word cake, but if you don't know, don't worry about it :P
  20. the picture was on the website? weird, i didn't see it there :P here it is anyway:
  21. oooh awesome! i think the tote printing is a bit wonky because the thing was originally drawn with colored pencils, and it needed to look more bold to be printed on the tote. there's actually a picture of chris drawing this, or at least drawing something that looks a HELL of a lot like this. i'm going to go find it.
  22. ^haha, well i have nothing better to do for a while  haha, thanks! i couldn't remember rosanna for the life of me until i searched for your other recent post that told me that :D zoe, would you kill me if i also asked for the thing in pink above "the office"? :uhoh:
  23. yeah, i think that's it :D also, with your mug, do you think you could tell us what the thing in black squeezed in above the word "cake" says? it looks like "livestock made" or something  :P sorry to be so demanding
  24. ROSANNA. that's what the other sister's name is! that's definitely what those letters stand for! :P i still wonder if that first M is an A, though, since there would need to be three As
  25. zoe, are you sure that the first letter is definitely an M? because for it to make sense, there would need to be three A's for anthony, alison, and al. i can't remember the other sibling's name for the life of me, though...mich once told me somewhere...
