i think mine are falling apart :sad:. i keep having to fix their splits with superglue (which actually works pretty well for a while). i don't even do anything to them, i just leave them on and they start to unravel. does anyone else have the same problem? and i didn't know you could order specific colors! don't tempt me! :P

the thing is, i'm a huge worrier too :lol:. i just think it's useless to worry too much about this, since we have no real way of knowing if and when they get there, and the odds are WAY in our favor :wink: AGH, so excited. i will begin to stalk my inbox this weekend, though i hope debs will post in the thread here rather than just emailing me.

my brother downloaded the episode of SNL where coldplay was the musical guest from itunes, yet the musical performances are not included in the itunes downloads :bigcry:

so return it :thinking:. if the merchandise is damaged upon delivery, i'm fairly certain they'll replace it. and it's not like coldplay has anything to do with the quality of the zippers put into their jackets.

zoe, i love the "help is just round the corner for us" part of your sig! :cheesy:. it's so perfect! :D and i wouldn't worry all that much, guys. of course, there's always a chance of things getting lost, but think about how many pieces of mail people successfully get every day, how rarely things get lost. the odds are in your favor by a hell of a lot :wink: i think the biggest worry is of postcards making it on time. of course, this isn't that big of a worry, since i bet they'll all eventually get delivered in some way, but that's what i see as the biggest worry. i think as long as you mailed the cards in the specified time frame, there's not that much to be worried about :D

i'm going to get a bit uncharacteristically harsh here, but oh my god, not another topic about this. they're not breaking up, and it would NEVER be the case that no one would want to sign them. every record company in existence would drool over the funds that signing coldplay would bring in. at any rate, i hope they pull a radiohead and do everything on their own. i think that's the way of the future. but really, everyone just needs to cool their jets and stop going on about this breakup crap. chris is not to be fully believed or taken seriously in the first place, as almost ten years have shown us, so be smarter than the media and the average person and laugh off what he says. secondly, in rolling stone, chris retracted his statement and said that he doesn't think they'll ever break up, so that should calm this whole storm. what comes comes, and chris, the band, the oracle, and other sources have said enough to confirm that there are no plans in place to break up. sorry for the bluntness, but there are enough threads about this and enough sources to say that it's nothing to worry about. there's no need to get people all hyped up again. this isn't "true" or "news," so it's all alarmist.

ooh yay for the bump :nice:. i can't wait to see. i got a bunch of nice clothes for christmas, like the two sweater dresses i posted a few pages back, and a blazer and nice brown boots and a skirt :D. i'll post pictures eventually :P

oh wow, that's a great idea! however, from my experience in sending 15 postcards from holland to various parts of the US this summer, some of the postcards arrived in THREE DAYS, and others took TWO MONTHS to arrive, even though i dumped them all in the same mailbox at the same time. unfortunately, i think it really can be a crapshoot, so just because alison hasn't receieved the test card doesn't necessarily mean that it hasn't made it to debs yet, i think :D

pris, didn't you send yours ages ago? but you sent it to alison first? i think it's a bit odd that it hasn't gotten there yet, but if you mailed it a while ago, i think you should be OK :D i guess the UK laws about mail aren't as strict as the ones in the US...:\

yeahhh, i wouldn't email postcards to debs either. like lore said, you can always still mail it--it just won't arrive with the others. and i'm starting to get really excited about all this! now that christmas is over and all, it's something to look forward to after the new year, and i really hope that we get a nice report back :D

my parents knew i was going to be a girl, but i was almost named anastasia, which i actually like a lot more than chelsea. i've always wished i was actually named that. my brother was going to be pavel, but he ended up being evan. my dad wasn't on the "russian names" boat.

i barely survived too :bigcry: :lol: (and that was technically christmas day, since it was like 6AM at your end :P) and YAY christmas crackers! i actually thought they would like, EXPLODE rather than just...rip apart, but i still like them. i got some pretty sweet crowns and pencils and a tape measure. i've still got more to do for new years, though, and i rather like wearing the dorky crowns. i think i'll get boatloads of them in england next year and bring them back for christmas :nice:

i usually go over my friend's house for a quiet celebration every year, which i really like. usually we goof off and eat fondue and watch movies till midnight, then we watch the ball drop and run around the yard with sparklers and confetti like loons :nice:. this year we've got leftover christmas crackers and 2009 glasses. classy, huh? :P

i've only recently learned how to like my hair, at least most of the time. i think it's because i cut it all off, so it doesnt take as long to straighten and all that (because really, if i don't straighten it, the world will end. i'd poke out eyes just walking down the street).
