i do agree that the price is ridiculous, but we are getting two songs (albeit we will have already heard one of them on radio before then) and the magazine which sounds like it will have tour info in it etc etc. i know that we can get the tour info easily online, but i'd probably end up buying that magazine once it hits US stands anyway for $10, so i don't mind spending an extra $12 or so to get the vinyl single (i LOVE vinyl anyway and have a bunch) and shipping. that's just me though :wink: that's what we get with our crappy economy and exchange rate right now :dozey:

^i really don't think american bookstores will have the magazine with the vinyl; i think they'll just have the magazine, and late at that. i could be quite wrong, but that's how it usually works, so that's why i ordered it just to be safe. i MUST own that vinyl! :dance:

i have to say that i kind of miss the alberta font too, but whatever. all i really care about is the music and the guys staying themselves. other than that, i won't *really* complain about anything :P

^haha, well it's about 11 pounds shipping to the US if you do it the fastest way, and that's $22. shipping is crazy expensive. they do screw you over massively! but shipping within the US is usually between 7 and 15 dollars for averaged-sized things, so you guys are lucky that you only have to pay 5 pounds!

even though i think it's a nice cover, i don't believe it's legitimate and i don't think it's very "coldplay." frankly, i think that tiny little avatar-sized thing with the violet paint blobs and the letters VH on it is more coldplay.

you might be right, i think. but it just looks so coldplay that half of me thinks it could be real. and i really WANT it to be real...i really like it! imagine all of the singles looking like that, with a different color background? i can just imagine the one for 42 being red or orange or something and just having it say 42 in the middle instead of VH. i mean, most of the songs on the album are more than one word, so i feel like they could do an abbreviation for all of them and just use that same cover layout. the AROBTTH and X&Y single covers all matched like that, anyway. i don't know, i just really like it!

the complete lack of any stars is certainly interesting. i agree, i think they're pounding away at the new site. and i think they know that we have enough info right now to occupy ourselves with and keep us quiet for a while, so it's not a priority :D since this thread has already been bumped... i find pages 36-44 of this thread pretty hilarious, when we were all speculating about whether or not viva la vida would be the album title given it's presence in will's video. pretty funny!

ahh, i just saw it in the news that ian posted. never mind! i think there's a decent chance that that could be the cover for the single! it seems very coldplay to me, and it fits in with the new website art!
